The Abandoned Child’s Complaint
by Michael R. Burch

I hoped you might have loved me,
but you pushed me out to sea
   like Moses, for some other
   strange Egyptian mother:
Isis, Nefertiti.

ISIS in power

Syria’s new rulers
I’m going out to buy two onions, flowers for my wife, and a box of red wine for no one in particular; since I’m the only one in the house who drinks wine, I guess I have to drink it myself
The checkout woman looked like Assad’s wife
Which made me think of the thousands of prisoners in his dungeon; they have disappeared. There could not have been so many; after all, perhaps it was a hall lined with mirrors.
The Alawites, Druids, and Christians, not that are murdered by the thousands, many hides in the Russian base, not the newspapers say anything about, now that Brussel has blessed them

I melted into liquid azure.

Beached in her breasts.

God is a woman??

Nurturing spirit.

Held womb like.

Trials of life no more.

Feminine vibrations resound.

Spiritual harmony.

Ego to zero.

Hate erased.

Melanin copper magnetic.

And so, I was born.

I felt safe.

And so, I returned.

Lost in her hair.

But look what I found there.

You saved me from the satyr.

Slayed with love.

Tears fell.

And so did the empire.

The creation of Zionists
brothers of destruction
they kiss and hold hands
extremists who fell in love
with the each other
depravity their brand
one and the same
dead babies be damned

When the oppressed
after thousands of white shrouds
mourning their losses
they still rush to save their
pets

The devil boils in his darkness
evil will never win

There Used To Be Fireflies In the Summer

There was a time not so long ago
When my children still ran on little legs

Wading through ocean green evening summer grass
Their faces bright as lamps with laughter

Hop-scotching up to their knees
In polka dotted waves of fireflies

If you can imagine Osiris and Isis awoke from their married womb
Walking wind through chandeliers

When galaxies fell to the mirrors of Earth
Sifted like gold from sand

Oh the reflection of gods we have forgotten
How to walk on water

At my knees in the woods I stir the stars of a small fire
Chant a ritual to bring back the magic

A diamond dislodges from the crown of Oak
Flitter of soul enchanting the shadows

To the children I say dance and sing
Ring in again the vegetable spirits

Swirl your feet with allure of dreams
At your ankles the twinkle of constellations

Comb with sparks your beautiful hair
All may be shared

The return of angels from yesteryear.

Premium Member Mother Isis

Holy Egyptian Goddess
Magical Isis
Mother of the pharaohs
We seek your wisdom

Your truth is our truth
Your sons are our sons
Ancient sage
Soothsayer and prophet

We look upon you as our ultimate warrior
Heroine of our ancient myths
Mother oh Mother
Show us the way

Premium Member Eagle's Love

She cried
All the tears
Of her body
Of his heart
Of her mind
Until
Only his soul
Can reveal herself
Can transform himself
In the flood of the Nile

This is the way it is
That flew away
The first Imperial Aquila
Lonely
Heavenly
Invisibly
In search of fourteen pieces
Stolen
Scattered
Dismembered

Of her Love

Premium Member Isis of Ancient Egypt

Isis was a major goddess of Ancient Egypt you know
She resurrected her brother and husband from down below
Osiris and she produced a son, Horus, she guarded with her life.
She was a marvelous sister, terrific mother, the ultimate wife.

Isis was requested for funerals, and helped the dead enter the afterlife.
She was conjured up in spells asking for help when others had strife.
Frequented by Nubians as well as Egyptians was her temple Philae.
Her magical powers were known by many and from countries far away.

Isis was a major influence when her popularity was at a peak.
Eventually Christianity came into vogue, the “religion of the week”.
Christianity stayed, but some think Isis had an influence on it too.
She was prominent in the ancient texts, and worshipped by quite a few.

Isis Poem

Isis is a goddess of magic stars
shooting like diamonds shielding
a childs dreams Patroness to nature
a defender of the dead timeless
giver of life garden of life
oases every stars a child every
Constellation a shield men her
warriors the sky a bed of hope
a silken blanket nature her weapon
to wield.

Premium Member Isis Concentrated On Motherhood

Isis was tired of being all things to all Ancient Egyptians.
Why am I the goddess of marriage, fertility, magic, motherhood, medicine and the dead?
No one had an answer.

I am going to concentrate on one thing, she stated.
Motherhood.
But her brother-husband Osiris was killed,
so she resurrected him instead, so she could be a mother.
They had Horus, whom she decided to guard all of his days.

That surely says something about your skills with the dead, her brother said.
She held the ankh sign up and paraded around the room.
Showing off her crown with the hieroglyphic sign of a throne.

Yes, she agreed to the Pharaoh, but I still want to concentrate on motherhood.
She had no choice but to also show magic, for her mystical abilities were tops.
Better than any other deity.

River Nile revers Queen Isis each year when she floods her banks.
Representing her weeping tears for Osiris before she revived him.

Premium Member Oh Isis

Oh, mighty ISIS.

Embers fanned that once burned bright,
Merge within the twilight sky.
Now turn to dust as all things must,
As another day passes by.

 Shadows lengthen their ghostly form,
 Feeding off the failing light.
For one by one to be consumed,
With the coming of the night.

Your face to touch without stretched pose,
 Childlike to hold its light,
For beauty doth betwixt us so,
in your robe of pearl white.

Reprised once more the shadows rise,
Again, to walk this land.
 they too seem captivated,
Your soldiers to command.

Your wonder still amazes so,
As you glide among the stars.
That pale and gentle softening light,
Bringing hope and love desires.

For whom all to see yet silent,
You sail the river of the night,
Oh, ISIS of the sleeping hours,
Please guide us with your light.

The Climate Crisis

THE CLIMATE CRISIS

The Climate Crisis
is worse than Isis.

 Planet health
is more important than wealth.

The Corona Flu
may kill a few
but the Climate Crisis can kill all of you.

Things Isis May Lack

Things ISIS May Lack

There are things that ISIS may lack,
And out of fear may be coming back;
In the news;
Read refuse;
To find reasons why brains will rack.

Jim Horn

Can't believe that ISIS may be
trying to make a comeback.
