In my heart's cage

In the warmth of your smile,
Crystal vibes radiate, calming my soul.
Your gentle eyes, a haven for me,
Infatuating, yet serene, setting me free.

Allaying fears of losing you, I hold tight,
In the cage of my heart, where love shines bright.
You're locked in my embrace, forever safe,
Cherished moments, an eternal escape.

In dreams, your presence trespasses,
Relishing moments, forever caressed.
My love for you is unfathomable and deep,
Eternal and soothing, a peaceful sleep.

This pomegranate heart
dreams to travel upon
a periwinkle path which
leads to the province,
where her royal majestic
persona resembles
papillon emperors,
floating under
mauveine skies,
adored by radiant rays from
the plummeting plum sun.

Serene clouds drift under
her lepidolite lilac gaze,
holding morning glory
amethyst raindrops,
ready to soothe her
fervid velvet petals.

A plethora of heather shelters
a rare rose dressed in violet,
flourishing under an
enigmatic Jacaranda tree,
surrounded by lush lilies,
infatuating irises alongside
opulent orchids,
blossoms infused with the
allure of musky ambience.

Tranquil twilight paints the
horizons in lavender hues,
stars appear like raisins
under magenta moonlight.
Her desires flow like rivers
of sangria and Syrah waterfalls,
bursting vibrantly through
mulberry mountains over
blueberry hills.

I have no desire
to reside in a place where
burgundy is too red
and indigo is too blue -
only in her unique aura
of heavenly purple shades.

Premium MemberQuest of Allure Romantic

Perfumed breaths of rosy breeze
In lyrical refrain of redolent winds
Enamoring your pulse of longing
Compose harmonies euphonic
Strumming verses of heartbeats;

When nightingale sings song of eve
As buoyant river rushes to sea,
Giggling stream, greening prairies,
Voicing passions of iridescent spring.

But it is the moon on opal skies
That seduces your dream of dreams,
Proffering aura of esoteric smile
In covert hints of amorous night,
Lauding quest of allure romantic;

Hypnotizing your zealous soul
Ecstatic in my infatuating words
From song of heart rousing passion,
Crooning tender tunes of love
Tiptoeing to become your world.

My Faint Ray of Sun

Like the faint ray of sun on an autumn day,
Thou alluring Josephus, bring all my warmth.
Trestles on trees crunch while the birds play;
And all the stars sparkle as if it was the fourth.

Crossing paths with displeasing actions,
Worrisome over my fleeting hereafter,
You are the calming force of my interactions.
The gracious beauty of mine rejoices in laughter.

Till the very day of our sweet encounter,
You’ll give every kiss through our 4 grand miles.
Every second that tick is worth all your smiles.
Infatuating more than our hearts portray,
Like the faint ray of sun on an autumn day.

A Poet's Dozen

Haiku:

Bumping into each
other can make something click...
ask for a first date!

Couplet:

The exchange of phone numbers
is the excitement still to come!

Free Verse:

Why go to a dating site and scan endless profiles,
are we two strangers in the same neighborhood?

English Quintain:

Girls take risky chances over a crush that's infatuating:
they set up a blind date with a stranger living
miles away, can they really trust that person?
Instincts send off good and bad vibes: hold that feverish feeling,
until you meet him and you think he's truly worth your loving!

My Cute Little Cat

When I saw her so it did seem
Was delightful damsel in my dream
Fell in love with her in an instant
Left me with a crush that was consistent.

Everything I liked about her very much
Could hold her forever in my clutch
Fully in love I had found myself being
Songs to my heart she began bringing.

For her great beauty was always waiting
Found sound of her voice very infatuating
Wanted to have her in my possession
And was object of my every obsession.

Was perfectly pleasant when she purred
And then to me it finally had occurred
Close together for a while we both sat;
She turned out being my cute little cat.

Or for last two lines:

That Terry dreamed about her night and day
Then took her with him and they ran away.

You can put in any name that you want to
in place of Terry.

As I Sit Here and Wait

As I sit here and wait
My mind slowly does churn
Memories of you around and around

The sound of your soothing voice
The smell of your infatuating scent
The touch of your smooth skin
The sight of your unmatched beauty

Time turns to stone
As I wait alone
Unrighteous anger makes me its home

The sound of him making you laugh
The touch of his hand in yours
The sound of his endearments to you
The touch of his lips to yours

My fists are clenched
Sweat crosses my brow
I fight the anger away

It makes me sunken and hollow
It tells me I will never have a chance with you
It creates my depression
It foretells my unhappiness

But I fight my anger away

The anger banished
I sit and wait
Now only a test of my patience remains

As I sit here and wait
Our lives go on
I await the time when they'll combine
