Purple Paradise

This pomegranate heart
dreams to travel upon
a periwinkle path which
leads to the province,
where her royal majestic
persona resembles
papillon emperors,
floating under
mauveine skies,
adored by radiant rays from
the plummeting plum sun.

Serene clouds drift under
her lepidolite lilac gaze,
holding morning glory
amethyst raindrops,
ready to soothe her
fervid velvet petals.

A plethora of heather shelters
a rare rose dressed in violet,
flourishing under an
enigmatic Jacaranda tree,
surrounded by lush lilies,
infatuating irises alongside
opulent orchids,
blossoms infused with the
allure of musky ambience.

Tranquil twilight paints the
horizons in lavender hues,
stars appear like raisins
under magenta moonlight.
Her desires flow like rivers
of sangria and Syrah waterfalls,
bursting vibrantly through
mulberry mountains over
blueberry hills.

I have no desire
to reside in a place where
burgundy is too red
and indigo is too blue -
only in her unique aura
of heavenly purple shades.

"Her desires flow like rivers." I can only imagine how full it is. If I were to choose a favourite colour all over again, purple would be included, it's my mum's favourite. A lovely piece as always Silent one. I love mulberry, it's a name I call my favourite people. Congratulations on your win. Always a pleasure reading your craft.

First of all, I'm not a big lilac or purple fan, I'm not sure why, but the colour has never appealed. However, on reading this wonderful poem of yours, I can see how it does appeal to some. Beautiful descriptions and imagery dear...Hugs

Dear SO, You transported me to an ethereal realm, a majestic world suffused with purple hues. I loved how your poem evokes wonder and longing for a place where the mundane transforms into the extraordinary. I'm also mesmerized by the Jacaranda tree and the rare rose in violet. I really liked your portrayal of twilight horizons and stars under magenta moonlight, creating tranquility. Your artistic rivers of sangria and Syrah waterfalls evoke abundance. Yes, we need to embrace the extraordinary. - Blessings, Daniel

"A plethora of heather shelters a rare rose dressed in violet, flourishing under an enigmatic Jacaranda tree, surrounded by lush lilies," -- outstanding imagery! Exploring the sensitive, loving nature of relationships. Take love away from a poet...and left~ just the shell of a heart. Always a pleasure to read your finely tuned, heartfelt works. Blessings.

Dear Silent, your poem explores the longing of a pomegranate heart to journey to a fantastical realm adorned with vibrant shades of purple. It touches upon the concepts of allure, the natural world, longing, and the desire for an escape. Your use of descriptive language creates a captivating atmosphere, as you skillfully incorporate words like "periwinkle," "mauveine," "lepidolite," and others to bring a sense of opulence and vibrancy to your writing. The use of vivid imagery, such as "radiant rays" and "fervid velvet petals," captivates the reader's senses and adds depth to the poetic experience.

A beautiful and deep poem that is well woven with all shades of purple, looks like paradise to me, and your use of alliterations and flowers as well as how your words flow in this soulfully moving write truly is impeccable! One that is beyond touching! I especially love the opening and ending in this, and how youv also written “ stars appear like raisins “ what a unique line! Wow! “ a rare rose dressed in violet, flourishing under an enigmatic Jacaranda tree, surrounded by lush lilies, “ gosh! You have a very creative way with words and always leave us readers speechless, not just with your word weaving but also how you express and emotions emanate through your poetic lines! Your use of poetic techniques here is clever, and i must also highlight how lucky would a person be to receive such sincere love! A fave! Best wishes
