Why does love come with crying?  When its totality settles in and the sacrifice is known, how else could it be?  Love, so happenstance, making itself fodder for blues music, and it will break your heart!  Serving as the culmination of something larger than ourselves and making our lives worth living for.

We chose to forget who we are,
that whilst in trance, soul may ascend
but perhaps we’ve drifted afar,
feeding fears we wish to defend.

Having signed up for life on earth,
we chose to forget who we are,
to which end we have taken birth
but now our soul’s blackened like tar.
