The human condition

Statues trapped in boundaries contoured by us,
witness seasons, day and night, dreaming desires,
just the way we drift through life, in deep stupor …
   like dead men walking.

Dancing puppets, hypnotised, know not that they
have no life of their own, yet their ignorance
inhibits not vibrance of roles they enact …
   reveries replay.
