Premium Member Eternally, Eternally

Eternally, eternally all clocks unwind;
To be rewound — a life untethers to be re-bound
Old eyes forget the forewarnings wisdom teaches;
They widen to look anew where experience beseeches

Set sail into the ancient light anew—
Adrift upon a mirrored sea of stars and lulling waves,
Rocking steadily and toward an enlightened litany
Of ideas and shapes that mould us as we wake,
In loving arms and eyes that behold us
And each little breath we take,

One new timid star, shining amongst so many,
Outshine and out-reach the distant rims;
Cast an urging light for our daunted whims
Held in check by the shackled limbs,
The instilled deprecation that dims.
And let my eyes unbind, aglitter—
The horizonal-line—
Trans-destine—
And free.

An iteration—
A fantasy—
Adream midst destiny—
A new you, a new me.

Jaw Harp Man

see my hand it has a gewgaw in
and to my lips I kiss the day
with her sounds I repeat back
in overtones and harmonics
of a heart whose breath is wide
horizonal, for scope, there is scope
and much to fill with a beauty
of song and call and secretness
yet do I not keep the outside out
these harp filled moments
allow my alone to distant inwards
solitary in an openness of voyage
among this voice of many voices
for it is here in this everywhere
that soothes, that steals, that builds
and my direction honed, renewed
oh these moments pass too quickly
once I’m out of the eternity
but the whet and drive has thirst
see my hand it has a gewgaw in
and to my lips I kiss the day

Beauty
Expressed in color
Still, soft sounds
In nature

Upon the horizon

Deep gold
Muted gray

In the pines

Silhouettes
Exposed

Then

Motionless sky
Master artist at work
Quotation marks
Of still life
Slowly horizonal expansion

The Wonder

Of His grace
The pleasure His creation brings

Duty calls

My day starts

Amen

If a rainbow is God's promise;
Just what the are skies blue;
And what are those pillows  of white clouds;
Horizons questions?

Premium Member Hope Bubbles Up

The clear sky-blue sky decorated
With jet streams like dread locks
Horizonal puffs in places
Covered by charcoal blocks

Such a varied sky crooned by song
Of roosters' crows and hens'
cackle, an occasional owl's
hoot, once where songbirds had been

Now fall has captured an audience
Somewhat different
But life continues into winter
More changes efferent

Let not winter destroy hope
Faith bubbles up from the spring
A continuing joy and praise
Oh! Heart with gladness sing_

Premium Member Refresh

The sights and sounds out on the porch
Refreshes deep within
A stillness and quiet lingers
The birds' song a soft den

Wispy horizonal pastel clouds
Lie frozen against blue
The rising sun has colored each
Their own special hue

There is a touch of the palest purple
Sandy shades like the shore
A pale magenta floats above
Like fabric from the store

The morning star has disappeared
Gone with the rising sun
Birdsong and roosters' crow in sequence
Morn's melodies begun

Just a few minutes longer here
to soak in the morn's peace
Then walk away while night creatures
Nod, slowly go to sleep

The bright sun cracks the horizon
Cast gray upon the clouds
All has changed in a few seconds
Life begins to be loud

Premium Member Horizonal Clouds

The sun casts shades of pink upon cobalt blue horizonal clouds this early
spring morn. The chores of day press down upon me but in the still calm of early
morn let my spirit be recharged, reborn, renewed soaking up the beauty of God's
creation.

bees buzz
then silence...
nectar found

The fog has settled in the valley upon the creek exaggerated by the apricot
rising sun. Dark green banked against silvery gauze fog like ocean waves banked
against the sandy shore. The sun now tops the trees its brightness reaching out
in extended rays of brightness duty calls come and I must go.

Premium Member Pale Red Sun

The pale red sun rises on the eastern horizon casting light upon a low crescent
moon and morning star. A Whip-Poor-Will with a sore throat sings his love song to
his mate or maybe to the master artist who paints the constantly changing canopy.
The once smokey gray horizonal clouds have turned a shade of cerise. So much
sound reverberates this still morning. The roosters echo in the hollow, doves coo
upon the hill, mockingbirds sing their varied tunes back and forth through the
oaks while all the neighboring folk lie in bed.

indigo buntings
in flight...
share piece of bread

Blessings sometimes come in strange places. The Indigo Buntings are a rare sight their beauty shone forth in which there came delight. Thank you Lord for this beautiful
sight.

Premium Member Foggy Hollow

The foggy hollow reverberates
with rooster's echoes
Cackling hens sing a laying tune
Biddies for their true beau

Horizonal wispy white clouds
Lie upon the blue sky
Birds of the morn sing love's refrain
So in love you and I

The sun cast a lavender glow
Upon those wispy clouds
Like a cold morning in winter
When the birds don't sing loud

As the sun continues to rise
A fireball cut in half
Sending red sunbeams through the trees
Printing a lithograph

The radiant orange beach ball
Floats in the eastern sky
Bringing warmth like chicken soup
or the gleam in a man's eye

Premium Member Morning Delight

Red fireball on the horizon
Played by cobalt blue clouds
Excited onlookers sighing
Birds quickly become loud

Soon heat will warm like fire
Crackling on winter's day_cozy
But with humidity, thirst's desire
Now comfortable morn rosy

Sun no longer red as cast blue
Cobalt on horizonal
Clouds; gold and bright now but then it's
Hidden suddenly small

Gone behind the clouds shy like bride
On wedding day, demure
Worried about pleasing the groom
Then shining bright grandeur

Premium Member Reflections

Sunday morning bright red sunrise
Reflecting onto the clouds
Constantly changes colors
There are wispy striated
Vertically that are cotton candy pink

The horizonal ones have gone from
The bright red to lightere and lighter
Shades until now are salmon in color

The roosters are exzuberant this morning
Thanks and praise continually comes from
Their throats through their beaks into the breeze
They are telling the world that it is going to
Be a great day

Feasting in the beauty that was created
Just for me years and years ago
God declared this day to be mine
To absorb his love and glory

There is a very thick mist rising from
The creek it radiating out and up at
Least one quarter of a mile away
The moisture penetrates giving life

The clouds have changed to charcoal gray
This happene in what seemed just minutes
It is almost as though the sun started to set

How many people get to see and enjoy
The day at dawn and sunrise...
