The end of every fairy tale
Has wedding bells and snowy veils,
And happiness and smiles can be found.
And so, as dreams can sure come true,
May I propose this toast to you?
May there be happy endings all around!
Before the final curtains close,
As almost everybody knows,
Conflicts will end in ways that can astound.
And all the characters draw near,
Just as we all have gathered here,
To wish for happy endings all around!
Life goes on. (and on, and on...)
A brand-new dawn. (and on, and on...)
But here we are at last
Forget the shadows we have cast
And put the sadness somewhere in the past!
May each and every story end
With all in grins and all as friends
All voices singing out in happy sounds.
May there be happy endings....
All happiness descending....
May there be happy endings all around!
One flow of your pen
and suddenly I am in.
Don't tell me the end,
I want to imagine it.
Happy Endings !
Too many rules,
Too many regulations,
Too much loss
Of self worth,
Pushing us into
Personal vendettas.
You said this,
No I said that.
You talking
To me?
If the shoe fits..
You're no Cinderella.
Well, you're no
Prince Charming!
Let bygones
Be bygones,
Agree to disagree.
No way!
No way!
And so it goes on
With no happy endings.
Sliding down rainbows in the sky
Is this what it is to fly
Like a bird blue or black that flies
Never looking back just gracefully glide
What is it to be with tribe
To feel amoung kin of pride
Where love is stronger than genocide
No one alone all glowing in light
When do you really die
What if you do not rely
On what you know as teal time
But only growth by design
I don’t know all that you find
I am the inquisitive kind
Who is passive aggressive at some times
We never die if inside others minds
...With that he threw money down for his drink,
and stormed out of the diner in a rage,
Janet sat shattered, she just couldn’t move,
and suddenly felt like she was twice her age.
She ran to her car, quickly as she could,
her face streaked red with some well-deserved tears,
spent the day questioning all of her life,
since there would be no happy endings here…
I love stories with happy endings the most
Cauze I want to be happy n gay
But if we alter truth for lies it is unjust
Cauze it's true that night cannot be day
I love when lovers in a story end up together
The case of '..and they lived happy thereafter..'
But some end up tragic and it's a bother
How quickly a happy story can lose it's laughter
Our story is a rather complex one
I wonder how it's end will be
Cauze rarely are happy endings to a man
But let's wait live it out and see.
Face to face here
With happy cheer
Wear a rich smile
That sets grand style
Let joy draw near
To forge fine cheer
Wise ways work well
To confront tell
Dance in good fit
That sensuous wit
Set your own pace
To time you space
Dare to live bold
But never cold
Gain truthful poise
Via grounded choice
Words have a way
To paint your day
Start to live fine
Verse poise that lines
The way you feel
Can hurt or heal
Do live your fest
In this life quest
Love loud and clear
As joy boosts cheer
Happy heeds call
In sweet or gall
Take time to be
A man set free

So tell me a tale
Make it a grand sale
Tell me a story
But make it happy
There's just too much tears
That corrodes my cheer
So please tell me now
The why that strings hows
All I want to hear
Is poise in good cheer
I know too much fear
That strangles me here
Crowd your crisp telling
With happy endings

Saw Brecht rolling in his grave
And Weill gasping for air.
And the masterful Brecht rave,
And rant and try to be fair.
(if that is possible for his rage,)
that audience-tested Happy endings
by TV and Hollywood rule the age
and color rosy, these times' being
With gorge rising say, we all love
Those Happy Endings, so addicted
And far into labored joy they shove
Thus, the truth of our lives we ignore
With plenty of joy and sorrow sure,
And lead so willingly by the "corps."
I think of you badly,
I yearn for you crazily
Passionately in wanting
Obsessively in needing
and I dream of you,
your fingertips all over
my chapters
in search of faith's
happy endings.
Every night I wait for you
to come to me
I let you taste the feel of me
an emotion deep inside your heart
lingering softly, whispering secretly
Alone you are in my thoughts
Your spirit is in my breath
You have crawled into my heart
rocking me fast asleep.
Oh how I crave your scent on my pillow,
feel the warmth of your soft skin.
savor a kiss on your moist lips,
have your hair cascade onto my chest.
Heaven is speaking loudly
telling me you are the one,
I am coming for you my darling
we'll make all our feelings a home.
I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings
Ultimately we end up losing
While they collect our hard fought winnings
Eventually everything ends and everything dies
Sadness then spreads with following cries
Is true love real when it’s destined die
When one half grows apart spouting devious lies
I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings
happy endings come from
happy beginnings
traveling story
thickening plot
building & rebuilding
characters unworthy
i cant turn the page
myself when i am stuck
inside i thought it would
be fun to take a ride
to do what i'm told
scripted lifted from freedom
captive in the dungeon
of fantasy
Happy Endings
Do you believe in fairy tales?
That is something my mother always asked me
before
I drifted off to the sound of her loving, placid voice.
But I never gave her an answer. So unsure of what my
Life would come to be. Now thinking back, I’m so very
Grateful to myself for neglecting to respond. For now I
Am not so certain that she would see me as something to
Be satisfied of with. Maybe it wouldn’t exactly be me,
However, something within me. I know this to be a fact,
Because what I see in the eye of my soul is a reflection of
Who I long to be. my derelict heart has shattered into a
Trillion pieces, and hope seems to have run away from the
Home, the home that I have built for it inside of me. now
I am hopeless. snow white without her dwarfs.
Cinderella without her glass slipper.
The princess without her pea.
Where’s my happy ending?
