One flow of your pen
and suddenly I am in.
Don't tell me the end,
I want to imagine it.
Happy Endings !
Creating a link
between young and old
learning from the past
the present and
the future
bringing together
happy endings
I have had my share of happy endings
But I would be lying if I said
That I wasnt truly, madly, deeply,
Hopelessly in love with tragedies
PERHAPS I"LL NEVER KNOW
WHAT TRUTH
LIES WITHIN YOUR VEILED HEART.
ENCHANTED WORDS
OF A POET
POURED FROM YOU LIPS
LIKE PRECIOUS STONES.
PROMISES OF LOVE
AND HAPPY ENDINGS
ECHO IN MY MIND
LIKE A LONG LOST
DREAM...

Once
"Once upon a time..." begins many a fairytale.
They have happy endings, almost without fail.
But I know "happily ever after," doesn't always come true,
Like my once upon a time fairytale, spent in loving you.
Love is not
for the weak-hearted
who fall
at the slightest gust of charm
no, it is not a fairy-tale
containing nothing but words
of white horses
and happy endings
Sometimes, love wears thorns
and cleverly hides itself
behind the gesture of a rose
or worse yet
a man with no flowers at all
happy endings come from
happy beginnings
traveling story
thickening plot
building & rebuilding
characters unworthy
i cant turn the page
myself when i am stuck
inside i thought it would
be fun to take a ride
to do what i'm told
scripted lifted from freedom
captive in the dungeon
of fantasy
Happy endings,
the folly of youth
The aged
alone to portend
Distance a comfort,
expiration afar
Reality
mostly pretend
Death as a concept,
corpse underground
As different as night
is to day
Two ends of the spectrum,
inextricably linked
By time
—ever holding its sway

This is my life
it's still in the writing
the next move is unpredictable
Unlike a fairy tale
happy endings have yet to be written
this is my life
failure is not an option
Shinning depends upon my steps
they must be decided as chess
seeing three moves ahead
glimpses of the future is necessary
with eyes focused upon today

I always loved stories,
Even when the character went through hell,
Somehow the book always ended well.
I’m living in a new version of a fairy tail.
It’s been bad since the beginning,
With a few happy endings.
I’m in a fairy tail,
Though I don’t know what the story is quite yet,
It’ll have a good ending,
Because all stories end well.
Too many rules,
Too many regulations,
Too much loss
Of self worth,
Pushing us into
Personal vendettas.
You said this,
No I said that.
You talking
To me?
If the shoe fits..
You're no Cinderella.
Well, you're no
Prince Charming!
Let bygones
Be bygones,
Agree to disagree.
No way!
No way!
And so it goes on
With no happy endings.
New life comes
with new love.
I’m not sure
if I’m just desperate,
or It’s really true,
but I just noticed you today,
And believed in happy endings once more.
Listened to you sing.
Watched you dance onstage,
almost make a fool of yourself.
I laughed,
waved and cheered you on
more than anyone else.
don’t know why
I like you
But I love this feeling.
I am the kid that strives for greatness
wanting everyone to be a witness
at the peak of my opportunties
This is me
Not caring what people say about me
Always wanting to be better than everybody else
Putting all that I have in my work
This is me
The romantic guy
The guy that believes in happy endings
The guy that believes in life after death
This is ime

Saving all that we could,
We all help like the way we should,
Inspiring others to give and care,
Giving the ones from the fires breathe fresh air,
Ending the flames is risky and tough,
Wishing for some rain can be enough,
Reaching out from our hearts,
Brings an entrance to a new start,
Tears from a tragedy is just too much,
Happy endings is the final touch.

Start with your heart
Live love's sure art
Seize peace of mind
As true love finds
Choice styles your voice
Love funds wise poise
Love what you do
Act as love woos
Live well each day
Love shows the way
Dare to be true
Love lives bold cue
End where you start
Watch soul move heart

...With that he threw money down for his drink,
and stormed out of the diner in a rage,
Janet sat shattered, she just couldn’t move,
and suddenly felt like she was twice her age.
She ran to her car, quickly as she could,
her face streaked red with some well-deserved tears,
spent the day questioning all of her life,
since there would be no happy endings here…
All hope is lost, for fairytales
Happy endings are only fiction
High pitched whistles drown the bells
Only fools waste pennies, wishing
Dreams were big when we were small
Til we dose do’ed and swapped
Now we’re wise and know it all
The magic, abruptly, stopped
We began an early green
Then a striking red
It seems so very mean
How, gold will leave us dead
Yeah, we make mistakes,
Yeah, we have regrets.
I have no regrets.
I don't believe in love.
I don't believe in happy endings.
If you say that those exist,
Then, honey, we have a lot of work to do.
Love isn't real,
Disney movies have the false endings,
Jimony Cricket won't help you,
And I'll never truly love.
That's life dear.
Get used to the harshness.
An angel was crying
For her prince
Drenched in rain
Ripped in pain
Her love was pure
Like sea to the shore
She kept on dreaming
Till her heart stopped beating
And then he came
Drenched in rain
To meet his princess
He loved in bits and pieces
His heart was weeping
Till it stopped beating
And that was how
It was always meant to be
True love stories
Never have happy endings
The leaves change, the world spins, birds still sing;
The absence of you does not stop the world, even though it stopped my life dead in it's tracks;
Images of you flicker back and forth in my mind like a view master in my mind;
No happy endings come to me when the sun sets;
You were so primitive yet so evolved;
So human yet so animal;
A perfect being;
I cannot believe you are gone.
So tell me a tale
Make it a grand sale
Tell me a story
But make it happy
There's just too much tears
That corrodes my cheer
So please tell me now
The why that strings hows
All I want to hear
Is poise in good cheer
I know too much fear
That strangles me here
Crowd your crisp telling
With happy endings

For you and me
Old curtains tell
A tale we dwell
Oil paintings sing
Happy endings
Fantasy speaks
Of inner peaks
Lovely eyes say
More that child's play
Seasons etch deep
Wonders that heap
Words that you write
Touchstones I cite
Dawn follows dusk
Dusk primes a trust
Each unto each
A moment's reach

(continuation of Milt Hankin's Montgomery La Verve )
Seems that Monty hung off to the right,
and he held to that curve a bit tight
with gusto and verve
to tingle the nerves,
but there’s no happy endings tonight.
The police report didn’t seem right;
It said that 'e missed indy light?
He was so overjoyed,
his airbags deployed;
the wreckage was powdery, white.
I’m looking for a way out
Pulling, thrashing at nothing
I’m trapped in a glass house
Looking for something
I’m looking around me
But I don’t see a thing
I’m crying no noise
I’m trying, no choice
I want to do good
I want to have a voice
In the stories I’ve read
Happy endings are true
In the world that is mine
Happy endings are blue
The pain that I feel is real
Unlike those who refuse to feel
I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings
Ultimately we end up losing
While they collect our hard fought winnings
Eventually everything ends and everything dies
Sadness then spreads with following cries
Is true love real when it’s destined die
When one half grows apart spouting devious lies
I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings
