There are a lot of myths we have been told

Like at the end of a rainbow there's a pot of gold.

Things I was told turned out to be lies

Like if you watch to much television you will get square eyes.

If you eat the crust of the bread you will
Get curly hair.

Don't look to long at someone as it is rude to stare.

Look at that owl they are clever and wise

And listen to adults because they never tell lies

Girls are made from sugar and spice

And never hit a woman as its not very nice

Boy are made from frogs and snails

And always wash your hands and don't bite your nails

Never say dirty words and don't scream or shout

As there was a bar of soap to wash your mouth out.

Dumb and Dumber and Gullible

Easy to spot
old men in Red hats
MAGA meanies
cranky and angry
that the world has matured
and they sit in their rot
lie and lie and smear the truth
very sore losers and so uncouth
feed them falsehoods
they drink it like beer
show them an immigrant
see them shiver in fear

Now Canada and Australia
not perfect for sure
just more common sense
than unschooled hatred
simply very immature
they voted for a better choice
the haters will deny
the majority should have the bigger voice

Gullible

those who believe, if they repeat the lie enough it will become true

Premium Member Gullible vs Sane

the gullible are too many, the sane too few ~ what will voters do

barbs being thrown, tit for tat, red states, blue states ~ I've had enough of that

tired of all the political rants ~ they bite each other like red ants

Premium Member How Gullible Can You Get

That old gullible Gulliver Gold

Would believe anything he was told

It would turn to champagne

Catching drops in the rain

But all he caught was a nasty cold

Then we told him to try it again

Said this time it would turn into gin

In a steady downpour

His throat got really sore

And grew incredibly pale and thin

When he got well we thought we would say

Fame and fortune was coming his way

They would crown him the King

If he drank gasoline

So now they'll lay him to rest today

gullible hips

.

        draping
       hern hips
     her dome's
        tresses
       it's thick

past it's cinnamon

     redolence
     sweet wet
        mine
         lips

Being Good

Purely innocent
Completely tolerant
Unconditionally loving
Totally understanding
Overtly gullible
Unobtrusively humble
Intimately sympathetic
Thoroughly empathetic

Throughout caring
Never ignoring
Perpetually loyal
Consistently grateful
Labouriously studious
Discreetly judicious
Immediately yielding
Indiscriminately sharing

Socially polite
Un-assumedly modest
Flexibly adjusting
Unquestioningly accepting
Astonishingly punctual
Immanently answerable
Ever committed
Naturally obligated

All definitions read but not hold good,
For, being good is definitely being victimised!

If ignorance, you have a total predeliction to bestow,
Send emails with the command, at the end to:
“Please forward to everyone you know!”

Chaff and the Vagabond

Loyalty brings even the fortified few to falter somnambulantly in succession
As if tranced to commit, their convictions are true yet skewed
The blind emotional outburst of bigotry and cynicism conveyed
Is but a microcosm of what pain these individuals likely feel
Something of an atrocity to be used and told when to kneel
Although the accused has seen duress they gladly contride the thoughts of madness itself
I feel that you deny me reproof yet I will not pity that which cannot choose
As sad as it seems to me I see I've held on to honesty gleaning
Were supposedly a friend you said having talks breaking bread
But now that I see that your truth is my lie I know time will determine the test that was cheated
The sad part I'll say and to my dismay is that there wasn't discussion, just conceded
Hope it's enjoyed, misconception eroded have the seat that keeps you yearning and teeted....

Premium Member Gullible Does Not Mean Foolish

A handsome man beautiful woman
Admired and loved; their outer shell,
Pretty face like sweet fauna
Can be root bound within
A labyrinth of
Irrational
Behaviour,
Evil
Mind
To
Hide a
Gross intent,
Poems disguised
That speak about love
When ink turns radical
Perceiving of lonely hearts,
A dark moon upon the rising
A song a rhyme sent on an ill wind.

Gullible Greek Bled

hoisted hanker bruised
vying voluptuous view
eerie oddities oozed
fostering felon fluid
porous pills punctured
sassy seals structured

mental horizon melted
gnawing gaunt glued
hefty heels drooled

pulpy peers pulsed
gnashing gifts gulped
callous crest cupped

gullible Greek bled
etched acumen ebbed.

Gullible Phrases Gulped

hoisted hanker trips
cranky cause clipped
soapy sauce seeped'n
in taunted tease
smoldered spiritualism scribbled
on dark dwindles

gaunt gifts sieved
sumptuous seal retrieved
haughty hoists spilled

bounty beards blushed
surmounting syllabic touch
gullible phrases gulped

porous pen puked
drenching vying view.

from deep within me
a power to manipulate
yet one loathes the signs

Gullible John

My friend john is a trusting soul
A trusting soul is he
When I called him gullible
He did not disagree
Then I told him gullible
Was not even a word
It was in fact considered slang
At least that’s what I heard
My friend John did ponder that
And agreed that it was not
My friend John is a gullible soul
More gullible than I thought!

They Become

They become...
Ubiquitous in society, gullible slaves with no empathy
Until the man with depression seeds something quite extraordinary
At mental-illness-hall-of-dance spectacular.
Public performance was buffoonery...
He screamed love, stated peace and cried eureka.
Hence one smiled, another embraced their lover,
Simultaneous nodding, quiet giggle, a boisterous laugh, a little kiss,
Timing, noting, recording.
They found their place, all of them
Whilst cultivating others until something happens and
They become...
