Gullible Does Not Mean Foolish

A handsome man beautiful woman
Admired and loved; their outer shell,
Pretty face like sweet fauna
Can be root bound within
A labyrinth of
Irrational
Behaviour,
Evil
Mind
To
Hide a
Gross intent,
Poems disguised
That speak about love
When ink turns radical
Perceiving of lonely hearts,
A dark moon upon the rising
A song a rhyme sent on an ill wind.

We truly never know a person even one that we love and live with. A person can hide what is on the inside. Congrats on your winner. Sara

A work of art! Here, here! A double nonet! Fabulous. Yes, it's difficult to distinguish good from evil...in many instances. Being trusting and open should be a goal. But it leads to many wounds! PANAGIOTA XX Oops. Second Respponse Especially hiding behing our PC's. Plenty devils (male and female) lurk behind eloquent, Poetry.A conundrum~~. Panagiota xx

That's a good piece, Harry. Leads one to contemplate. Poets have always spoken from what's going on in their lives... disguised or embellished. Song writers do the same. One must be wise to read between the lines.

What a great write and so true. Good advice for those who are easily fooled. Reminds me of the old saying about the smile on the crocodile and how when someone is crying and looking for pity they are accused of shedding crocodile tears. Love this. God Bless and stay well. JB

Hi Harry, I think this is the first time I have seen a double nonet and it is really well written. This is an excellent write on the subject chosen. There are so many two-faced people out there, my friend. The images depicted are strong and true, my friend. A definite Fav. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Your friend always....Mike.

G'day Harry … a warm smile can also hide a cold heart. Such a great explanation Harry on how the outer looks and the inner schemes. Once again, a great verse from you Harry - Lindsay

Interesting double nonet about a fake person hiding behind his poetry... Sooner or later true colours show.... Anyone we know?

The beauties make the worst mates, they love dulcet flattery, once the flattery is gone they are gone. Nicely done, Harry

Harry, this is quite wonderful! So many vivid images "root bound," "ink turns radical." And, writing in the shape with its challenge of syllable count is challenging! Nicely done. Congratulations!
