Gullible vs Sane

the gullible are too many, the sane too few ~ what will voters do

barbs being thrown, tit for tat, red states, blue states ~ I've had enough of that

tired of all the political rants ~ they bite each other like red ants

It's been an absolutely exasperating and unavailing year; the recent result is deftly explained by your first line. Love this poem, I hope you are marvelous :)

Thank you for your comments, B. The gullible were far too many.

O America...you can export your litrature, your science, your humanity, your reasoned military might in the protection of the weak, your goodwill....but please, please keep your politics. It may be classed as democracy...but its so toxic. Best of luck...may sanity prevail.

I might export myself. lol Love of country has been overrun by the need for greed. I fear it will be rough going no matter who moves into the White House. Thanks, Paul.

With all the gerrymandering in states, and those who decided to be red or blue, these politicians truly forget the voices of me and you, the average WHO here in Whoville.

They should all be colorblind. Politics has become detestable. Infighting worse than school kids. Thanks for reading me, DM. It's been a while since I've seen you.

Bet you'll be glad when it's over Lin, we had it all here in the summer, the Jibes and mud slinging, worse than schoolkids. Tom

If only it would be over after tomorrow. Win or lose, Trump will be on the warpath. I haven't listened to a news cast in months except for the weather channel about a new storm. Thanks for the read, Tom.

It’s a strange political situation Lin, when the only states that seem to matter are the ones both red and blue, and all depends on how the pendulum swings in these states, really is too close to call. perhaps it will all come down to one ant bite, nice series of monokus. Cheers David

Thanks, David. There will be hell to pay no matter who wins, but the losers will be the American people and Democracy. Making America Great Again is not what Trump has in mind. His mind is so corrupt that he'll bleed the life out of the country by trying to sit in a chair he didn't deserve the first time he put his rump in it.

Makes me so glad i only have to vote in local elections - we don't even vote for the Chief Minister - that person is decided by Tynwald! hugs Jan xx

The bashing never stops, probably not even after the election. If Trump loses, he will claim foul wearing his red hat. Kinda like what happens in blogs sometimes when the black hats pretend to wear white ones.
