Green With Envy

I feel like I am stuck
and can't be freed.
I feel like I am stuck
and full of envy.
I don't love you anymore,
or so I trick myself to think,
but when I see her
with you instead of me,
it makes me sick,
green with envy.

Mighty, Mighty, Mighty

ALL IN ACCORDANCE TO THE FACTORS WHICH CREATED IT.
CIRCUMSTANCES THAT CAUSE SUCH TO BE
IT IS CREATED BY THE RESTRICTIONS OF IT'S MAKING
TO BE SEEN AS THEY WISH OTHERS TO ENVY THEM
THAT THEIR TOGETHERNESS IS A TRUST OF SOMEONE ELSE'S UNDOING
EXTERNAL FACTORS CAUSES HIM TO RELY ON HIS PARANOIA
THEN TO STRENGTHEN HIS INTERNAL TRUST
HIS CONCERTED EFFORTS ARE INSIGHT OF THOSE
WHO DESIRE TO SEE HIM PERFORM
THESE PERFORMANCES WITHIN IT'S OWN CIRCLE
ARE RATED TO GAIN RESPECT AND OR COUNTER RESPECT
HE HAS TO EARN HIS POSITION AMONG HIS PEERS
THUS HE TRAINS AND RETRAINS TO MAKE RIGHT
WHAT MIGHT BE HINDERING HIS POTENTIAL GREATNESS
THOSE WHO WISH HIM NOT TO BE BEST SHALL UNDERMINE HIS ACHIEVEMENTS IN SIGHT
OF AUDIENCES AND THOSE WHOM HE WISHES TO RESPECT HIM
THEY RANK THEM AS CONTENDERS TO SIFT THROUGH CERTAIN LEVELS
THE BUNCH AS A WHOLE IS DIVIDED TO
SHOW SUPERIORITY
THOSE WHO CONTEND AMONG THESE RANKINGS ARE MADE CHAMPIONS AT BEST.
AND THOSE IN THEIR UNCERTAINTY ARE MADE INTO CONTENDERS
THOSE WHO WISH TO DETHRONE OR DECHAMPION THOSE UNDER THEM.

GREEN WITH ENVY

Young Bill always wore green, his clothes freshly ironed and pristine,
His shiny green shoes were always polished and clean,
But constantly consumed with envy he was,
An unpopular, young man simply because
He was obsessed with envy, for he envied anything green!
His friends new green car and his sister’s green house,
Mom’s green garden furniture, his niece’s pet green mouse.
Bill regretfully, always told greenish white lies,
But got away with them, as he had the most wonderful big green eyes,
He met a girl with green eyes who would soon be his spouse!
Bill bought his future wife an engagement ring with emeralds green,
The most beautiful green stones that anyone had ever seen,
They bought a house in the countryside so green, their absolute pride,
His green wealth, Bill could certainly not hide,
He became a changed man, but still obsessed, his new car is green!

I met her when I was sixteen or seventeen
One old mean vicious queen called Josephine
Her skin the texture of a tangerine
And its color plasticine aquamarine
Obsessed with her aging beauty hardly pristine
Deeply tormented by the hope of cure or vaccine

I vividly remember the wildest bizarre surreal scene
It was in between mid-October and the eve of Halloween
When she lined our trampoline with a thick coat of vaseline
She made us hop like mexican jumping beans that evil queen
There we were me and my friends Maureen Kathleen and Eileen
She resented our youth and let us loose in an old pinball machine
Sea green with envy screaming out spells of velveteen opaline
This was her idea of some weird evergreen rejuvenation machine

Green With Envy

Keeping up with the "Joneses" leads nowhere-
You discover quickly that Life isn't fair!
Be content with the Life that is your own...
If you have what you need you shouldn't bemoan-
Not everyone can be a millionaire!

Envious Ivy was her name
I’d buy something new – she’d put me to shame
My designer coat in a shade of emerald green
Ivy bought an identical one just to be mean
She was the most terrible copycat
See your purchase and say ‘oh I fancy one like that’
If I got a new car you could guarantee
Ivy would get the same just to copy me
She was like a shadow that just wouldn’t leave
If I had a great idea then Ivy would thieve
The copying went on for many many years
I got so fed up with it I'd end up in tears
Imitation is said to be a great form of flattery
Ivy was so jealous she should have lived in a cattery
I recently heard that Ivy had passed away
Do I have plans to copy her … NO WAY!
