Great Love

I in truth love me
sure each one of us knew that
since "love me" loves come
without real true self-love,
no others love, things and men

love makes me happy,
enjoy all things around me
all people as well
I feel all of them with me.
hate is an evil fire.

Premium Member Dark Side of a Great Love

Wordsworth wrote, in 'Splendor in the Grass,'
about the glory that can be found in the flower.
He alluded to a love that had long since passed,
like clock hands tick off each second and hour.

He was saddened when taken from his sight,
was the radiance of a great love he once knew.
His world had been filled with splendid light,
but then darkened in shades of gray and blue.

He wrote to tell readers they should not grieve,
for a love that has been lost or left behind.
But that poet's words I am unable to believe,
for I consider them callous, no truth do I find.

I wonder if Wordsworth had ever shed a tear,
or had his heart broken or hardened to stone.
Did he ever lose a love that he once held dear?
And in his hour of pitiable grief, did he cry alone?

Wordsworth may have been a bard, a poet grand,
but in his 'Splendor...' quote, he has clearly shown
the falsehood written with ink quill in his hand,
for I have grieved for lost loves... I have cried alone.

To Live a Great Love

Do you wish to live one
 immense Love... !?
offer love,
melt in
it
 fall madly in love
from loving so much...
Find yourself...
Love is sea
immense,
dive
inside...
it's deep well,
so dig
without ceasing...
The love is
a jump
to the top...
jump...
a flight to
the infinite,
fly then...
love...love
a lot... love
That's all...!

The Great Love of the Almighty

Have a nice birthday, Kimberly,
As you wake up from your slumber;
The great love of the Almighty
Makes you feel fine, safe, and better.

Premium Member Nature: My Great Love

Many things in life we do like
but only a few we say I love
one of mine is undoubtedly nature
nature and me just fits like a glove

It's such an epic sight to view
having a walk among nature's green
taking in the colours among the trees
so picturesque filling one's theme

When you walk along the water's edge
looking across right to the other side
the sun shines down making a water mirror
so still and bright forever to glide

Walking through woodland in the spring
even in autumn, it's lovely and fair
a little frost crunches under your feet
these mornings thrill you lair by lair

Would love to live in nature all year long
have birds, squirrels and ducks at my side
watching the greenery from where I am
we can but dream wish there to abide

For God So Loved the World

'For God so loved the world He sent His Son'
To free us from the grip of sin's domain,
That full redemption for all time be won
And man may dwell at peace with God again.

From heaven's glory to a tainted earth
He came to seek and save all who were lost,
To manifest a life of higher worth
And pay the greatest sacrificial cost.

Oh that my heart might daily sing the praise,
Of He who cared enough to die for me
And may I strive to ever live my days
For Christ, who bore my sins on Calvary.

'For God so loved the world' so how can I
Live for my selfish goals and Christ deny?

I Know of Great Love

I know of great love...
the kind of passion that
surpasses ecstasy into
a world of oblivious bliss
soaring among the clouds
in the ethers of heaven
with a newness that
never grows old or faint.

I savor these golden
treasures within my heart,
within my mind that is
filled with memories of
past and present as I look
forward to our future
moments, suspending us
in love's rapturous arms.

No love song could express
the joy you have given me,
nor the Valentines of
intimacy written by poets
with profound adoration.

Your voice is my love song,
your tender touch, my bliss,
your warmth, my security in
feeling, I know of great love.
You are now and will forever
be my beloved Valentine!

God’s Great Love To Both of You
Form: rhyme

Dad and Mom, you’re truly blessed,
By your marital love, God was pleased
Heaven came down to bring you a gift
A lovely baby, so adorable, so sweet.

Your new born babe’s first tiny cries,
Tell your strong love-bond sealed thrice
Baby’s charming smiles and sparkling eyes
Tell the beauty and wonder of a family life.

Dad and Mom, you’re truly blessed
Welcoming precious babe, let’s celebrate
As your angel raises 2 little hands, 2 little feet
Wants your warm hugs, a cuddle so sweet.

Congratulations to you for your newborn baby
I pray, this lil fellow grows in God’s Love Almighty
To reciprocate your unconditional care and love
To have a bright future and always to cheer you up.

Premium Member God's Great Love Saved Us -Ephesians 2: 4,5

Love is a many splendored thing
but can anyone express it so real?
as does God who shows it so great
what can compare for His is the real deal

As well as displaying His special love
mercy is mixed in along with it too
God's mercy has a richness beyond words
so the divine cordial is so very true

Receiving this special godly gift
for our transgressions made us dead
having no life in ourselves at all
Christ came in as the living bread

Now being found alive in Christ
saved from sin by God's grace
for HIs love so abundant and free
reaches down come unto me He says

Who can describe truly God's love?
displayed on the cross for all to see
Jesus died at Calvary for His own
displaying His love on Golgotha's tree

("But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4-5)

Premium Member A Great Love

A GREAT LOVE

A great love, like a camera lens,
finds the perfect scene, depends
on the lighting, frames her face,
zooms in and out through time and space.

A great love, chisels to know, to find the jewel
hidden inside, precious and fragile. The tool
taps gently, with precision, with wholesome care
to find in the sorrow and imperfect, the fair.

A great love, highlighted by a crown of stars.
Godspeed’s illuminating moon, erases her scars.
The array of her rainbow tapestry, in bloom -
his eyes, arms, and heart always have room.

A great love, doesn’t wait to show her affection.
He sees what she hides, before her introspection.
The perfect gift of honeysuckle rose or a kiss.
She in turn is free to lavish him with lifetime bliss.

Great Love Lost, Truth Only Then Found

Where was I, journeying when I lost her heart,
a stranger to tragedy and great pain!
She that once healed me has now torn me apart,
wading wastelands of despair almost insane.

Where was I, when walking stone path so blind,
traveler seeking waste of lust and greed!
A damn fool devoid of care and looking to find,
that which I so stupidly thought I need.

While her faithful love battled to stay alive,
my desires raced onward into dark deeds!
She that gave all her love to help me survive,
watched me in error sow my wild seeds.

When did I, wake to this hell, long nightmare,
a cut beast all set to moan and bleed!
Crying out in misery how my life is so unfair,
still forgetting her pain and need.

When will, my soul lead me from my sad plight,
a victim of my own lusts and dark acts!
A beast screaming out for help in plain sight,
only now getting truth and the facts.

Where was I, journeying when I lost her heart,
a stranger to tragedy and great pain!
She that once healed me has now torn me apart,
wading wastelands of despair almost insane.

Song of Great Love

Come, listen and I'll sing a song just for you,
'tis a song of great love, that may even be true

Two hearts pass each other like ships in the night,
their love'll only blossom should they come into sight,
their hearts ever searching, for that which they need
true love is the flower that may grow from this seed

Come, listen and hear the sweet song that I'll sing,
'tis a song of two hearts, that as one may take wing

Two hearts beat together as though they are one,
in glorious passion as their web of love's spun
their souls ever seeking this sweetest of nectar,
two bodies then sharing the greatest of pleasures

Come listen, come sing, come clap and come dance
to this a song of the spirit, to this song of romance

Two hearts are thus joined in a union of love,
they'll now journey together, in this world and above
the fruit of this joining, this marriage, this pairing
is kindness and passion, dedication and sharing
