Pumpkins laugh under dark skies filled with bats
While ghosts seek to find delicious treats
And Halloweeners roam about in cute masks
Funny and frightening monsters chit-chat
About sweets and treats they would like to eat
But pumpkins laugh under dark skies, praised by cats
Neighbors try to stuff candy in big bags
They have gathered lots of colorful treats
While witches roam around in pointed black hats
Halloween Goblins sit on the doormat
Trick-or-Treaters in costumes do compete
As Pumpkins laugh under dark skies filled with bats
There are so many fairies to look at
And children all like to shout, "Trick or Treat!"
While merry Goblins run around with cute hats.
Halloween Pumpkins are cute to look at
With their big grinning faces that compete
With Pumpkins that light up the dark skies that hide cats
While Halloweeners go 'round with cute masks!
What a delight to get together
for our annual festive dinner
Both the Devil and Frankenstein
drinking warm blood of swine
Other guests welcomed from mummies
scarecrows ghosts goblins zombies
Count Dracula and Witch Hazel

goblins are dwarf spirits,
grotesque in shape and size.
godly not, but ghastly.
gestures are crude and rude.
greatly mischievous, they
growl and shriek, loud or low.
gamboling sprites of lore.
In the moonlight almost midnight
clearly witching hour is nearly here
time for ghosts gremlins goblins ghouls
beware the phantoms but have no fear
don't take candies or sweets
from strangers you will meet
as there be scary zombies
out there on the streets
and if you don't believe
then when trick or treating
ask and ye shall receive
for tonight is All Hallows' Eve
six ghoulish goblins glowing in the dark
one of them suggests a Halloween lark
painting crazy faces on jack-o-lanterns in the road.
a witch goes crazy; one turns into a loud toad.
another ghoulish goblin chases the witch away.
She has run out of spells and screams along the way.
black cat dances past them carrying a scalding pot.
wearing huge kitchen mitts, just like he ought.
five ghoulish goblins go out to trick or treat.
No one screams tonight as they go down the street.
On Halloween everyone looks spooky like a creep.
Tasty newfound candy lulls five ghoulish goblins to sleep.
Some people don’t hike through the wood,
especially on All Hallows Eve.
Ghosts of boys and girls of good
float at the campfire, if you believe.
Elves and pixies dance through the trees,
with taunting, mocking, and leering.
They swing and sway in the brash breeze,
their faces frighteningly jeering.
What was that? The crack in the wind
unleashes demons and banshees!
Their hideous yowling will send
even the bravest to their knees.
Ghosts and goblins arise from their graves,
harmonize in a cacophonous chant.
Don’t try to hide in the darkened caves.
They’ll find you in their raucous rant.
They’ll steal your bones with giggling glee
and make toothpicks with your ribs.
Quickly now, turn. Run, and flee
before they find you and call out “Dibs!”
Tonight, I swear, way up in the sky
I saw three cackling witches fly by
And then down here on the ground
Why, ghosts, goblins and skeletons
all rattling around
And wouldn't you know it, a monstrous ghoul
So, Happy Halloween, Pal! ~ or April Fools
Ghosts and goblins come in waves on Halloween,
The spookiest spooks and ghouliest ghouls you've ever seen.
They really haven't come to haunt,
It's not your mortal soul they want,
Just your Skittles, Candy Corn, and Jelly Beans.
Vampires, werewolves, zombies, hags,
Witches, warlocks, wraiths in rags,
They won't suck your blood or eat you,
They're just here to trick-or-treat you.
When the doorbell rings, you'd best fill up their bags.
If brave of heart, you might invite them in.
Your lair is dark, the fiendish games begin.
Apples to bob, a tail to pin,
Brew to imbibe, a bottle to spin,
As party monsters celebrate All Hallows E'en.
Ghosts and Goblins :o
Ghosts and goblins frost on the pumpkins
See the black cat arch in the moonlight!
Are there ghosts up in the sky
On Halloween night?
Boo! Halloween fright! :o

With a special ink I make my uniique mark
My signature appears engraved like bark
When buyers see this, there is a riot.
My newest painting is toast - no one will buy it.
Some think it just an Irish fluke
The cause of life’s long evil spook
An Irish curse
Guinness made worse
The morning after’s pale green puke

It has been stated in the witchery world
That the head top notch with will be in red
I have an inkling this book is true
So here is one who has her own goblins.
They are green and maniacal.
I stare, fascinated.
Before
I
run
like
Hell…..
Beware the goblins that hang out with gloom,
That send little children screaming in fright
The werewolves that spell a sudden doom.
Sudden noises like mushroom clouds boom
At your front door on Halloween night,
Beware the goblins that hang out with gloom.
Likely the little witches will carry their broom
They yell “Trick or Treat” and run out of sight,
The werewolves that spell a sudden doom.
If you are about, do not accept a mushroom
For they often carry a most wicked bite,
Beware the goblins that hang out with gloom
Switch on the light before entering a room,
Lest an apparition appear in astounding flight
The werewolves that spell a sudden doom.
You’ll be prepared for ghosts, I’ll presume
If, after dark, you turn on your porch light
Beware the goblins that hang out with gloom
The werewolves that spell a sudden doom.
