Had a very busy day and night so here's just a short lanterne for ya!
Ghosts
Goblins
Scary night
Surrounded by
Spooks!
Streets awash with mewling cats
and surly swashbuckling pirates.
Somber skies with swirling bats,
and ghastly goblins chasing rats.
Goblins live in caves
Secret corners in the back
Grizzlies know they’re there
They are compatible in fact
Waiting to eat me and you
Witches coo
goblins moo
Jack-o-lantern's puzzled
Ghosts wave 'Hi'
spooks are shy ~
All-Saints-Day unmuzzled
Smackely, crackely, dackely, boo.
Goblins and ghosts do not scare you.
Hackley, facklye, jackal-ly crew.
I obviously do not have much to do.
tiny goblins running round
some in mothers dressing gown
witch cackle delight
was there such a night
in this hallowed little town.
Brownies, goblins and gargoyles too
Entered the laces of a good girl’s shoe
She danced up a storm
With my cousin Norm
At the end, she had plenty of woo.
Goblins and witches
And then Frankenstein appears
The world is scarier now
Things calm down a bit
Devil banshee laughs at me
Guess what? I love Halloween!
Gingerbread
Creation, fall food
Sweet icing
A great taste
Ghouls and goblins surround it
A Halloween treat

Halloween night gives me a fright
Ghouls and goblins are a scary sight
Witches with black cat flies through the night
To scare the people that’s caught in a tight
Jack-o'-lantern greeter at the door
Children scared at the sight of gore

Goblins and ghouls, we are.
Behind the paint,
Beneath the scars.
We tread the night,
Nocturne calls.
So fright the stars, we must.
For an ode to monsters,
A worthy trust.
That spooky time of year
Creeps up upon us, again
We celebrate death, goblins,
and evil things
We might as well celebrate
Taxes
If we are to celebrate creepy things.
With a special ink I make my uniique mark
My signature appears engraved like bark
When buyers see this, there is a riot.
My newest painting is toast - no one will buy it.
Some think it just an Irish fluke
The cause of life’s long evil spook
An Irish curse
Guinness made worse
The morning after’s pale green puke

Finally dusk comes
The bound excitement breaks free
The ghouls and goblins
Make it to doors of neighbors
‘Trick or treat’ has surely come

There was a Halloween hullabaloo
Ghosts, goblins and a witch with face of blue.
Dracula with his fright
Danced and caroused all night
I wish I had been there; now don’t you?
As the blackness spins
Ghouls and goblins skulk about
'Tis a night of fear
Stay inside and lock your doors
Don't get caught out in the dark!
A crusty goblin cracked a crevassed grin
While chasing odd witches in a tailspin
He heisted her fat black cat
Whereupon her broom she sat
To kill all the rats in his crusty den
The moon was obscured by a swirl of shrouds
Witches and goblins were laughing out loud
Lest you think Halloween
Or that Lilith's now Queen
It was merely a parade of proud shrouds
WARNING
When goblins go begging for treats,
some monsters don’t go after sweets.
They try to hurt cats,
snatch them just like that!
Keep cats in, curled up in your sheets!

Galactic blood red sky
Gathers for Halloween
Goulish grotesque, zombies
Gross witches and black cats
Goblins, plus gruesome ghosts
Ghastly, grim, while groaning
Guarantees goosebumps.
Roses are red, goblins are green
Just like my buddy, Frankenstein
Well, it’s February fourteenth
And I don’t have a valentine
So let’s declare it Halloween
And now, my love, will you be mine?
Roses are red, goblins are green
Just like my buddy, Frankenstein
Well, it’s February fourteenth
And I don’t have a valentine
So let’s declare it Valloween
And now, my love, won’t you be mine?
It's cold and rainy on Halloween
Where monsters and goblins are always seen
They're at my door asking for sweets
But they don't want tricks only treats
I could close my door but that would be mean
