I am a tall American Sweetgum Tree
Star- shaped leaves colours of purple yellow and red
Graceful ~ loved by all
Robins land on my branches
Sweetly serenade me
Songs of joy sharing nature’s love
Children skip round me giggling
I am head tree guarding the Magical Forest
Unicorns, fairy’s ~ even goblins love me
People come hug me and tell me they love me
Majestic mountains bow to me
Magical kingdom is place to be
Castle glistens in the sunshine
At night owls hoot to me
Lights surround me showing my beauty
I love all seasons especially winter
Snow dazzles and sparkles on me
People from all over world photograph me
Rumple Stein tapped his cane
on the dusty floorboards,
gathering the children in the
mansion's dark parlor.
"Long ago, this very house
belonged to a hunchback
goblin named Quasimodo, "he
whispered, pointing up.
"He had ears like a bat, feet
like a duck, and a crooked
back shaped like a giant
potato."
The grandfather clock
chimed midnight, its heavy
ticks matching the rhythm of
the children's racing hearts.
Quasimodo didn't want to hurt
anyone, Rumple Stein grinned,
he just hated people making loud
noises.
Suddenly, a loud, scraping
THUD- THUD- THUD echoed right
above their heads from the
dark attic stairs.
When the kids don't clean their
rooms, he stalks through the
halls and hides their favorite
toys!
The children gasped, looking
nervously at the dark corners
of the room as the curtains
rustled.
"He is watching right now,
waiting to see who leaves
their shoes on the floor
tonight."
Rumple Stein chuckled softly,
closed his book, and said,
"Now go clean up before
Quasimodo finds you."
Goblin with greasy hands grabbed my favorite book
Slithered away with it to his favorite smelly nook
The novel will never be the same, it is irritating now
This goblin has ruined every book, I am angry said the cow.
A star once floated from East to West
He now punishes those who abuse their power
Snarling under his hook of a nose
The fire orange sun beats down on his blood red goblin face.
His bark is a thunder bolt
Honor is his name and he will cease at nothing to preserve it
From the Heian to Tokugawa, through the surrender of ‘45
From countless Seppukus to the Yasukuni Shrine
He flew through the night which followed Abe’s killing
He watched with disdain when the troops raided Nanjing
“Call me ugly as you wish, but you are the true pigs of the sky,” he said
“With your bombs and swords you have given me endless work”
The flying dog is here to stay, and to judge all who make evil
His face will float above forests and decorate museums
Do not be the reason why the red goblin glows
Do not let this mighty flying dog make an example of your money hungry soul
He will haunt you like no other as he has for centuries
Bow to your masters, and maintain your dignity
Or whatever is left will be ripped and turned into dust
By the flying dog who they call “Tengu”
diddly dole
diddly dole
a goblin ate the custard
from the trifle bowl
diddly dole
diddly dole
another ate the jelly
and the trifle – stole!
the town of Jingbut
had a ding
that chimed and chimed
did ring and ring
and a mystery
was this loudly thing
for over air
and garden came
straight through house
each room the same
for where you were
it did not wane
an all around
an everywhere
incessant ringing
to the ear
an omnipresent
far and near
it was a witch
as told by some
whose voice aloud
when she was hung
a curse to all
she deathfully sung
others tell
of murdering
or ghost or phantom
or of goblin
a demon’s
episodic rambling
then just as quick
as it had started
it wasn’t there
as strange it ended
gone, gone
but for how long
no-one knew
why it had been
but oft it rang
this haunting ring
that held the town
the Jingbut ding
The goblin was wobblin’ along,
Tipsy and singing a song.
It’s hard to cause fright,
When sober not quite,
He hadn’t the heart to do wrong.
generous Gus, Greystone’s glaringly green goblin glided into the glades.
giving Ginny Graceful, a gruesome ghoul a glimpse of glorious shades.
gary, Gryffindor’s ghost glared at them; for where was his grubby gratuity?
goblin and ghost, goaded Gary, giving him grief about Glue city.
grandiose grisly girl-free graphic arts gleefully featured the grimy three.
Gladly giving grotesque features in the glade’s next grimy graphic glossy.
Mare, a seasoned witch with the dark ebony hair
Said I will teach you a spell, to her cousin Cher.
Cher tossed her wand around in the air.
Scarecrow goblin appeared right in front of Mare.
I thought I would teach you, Mare said to Cher.
But you are a true genius of a witch, I do declare!
Conjuring this scarecrow goblin, he gave me a scare.
The goblin laughed, and then ate up Mare.
Sunny the goblin
Was a very joyful troll
With a blue surfboard and a stately pose
Down the beach he would stroll
Sunny the goblin
Is a happy bloke they say
He surfs well you know
Loves the seaside so
He will live here one day
He built a shack right on the beach
He built it on sturdy ground
No dinner he had a *paddle pop instead
And began to dance around.
Oh Sunny the Goblin
Was sun tanned as could be
And the people say
He could surf all day
Just the same as *Midge Farrelly
Oh Sunny the goblin
Knew the surf was up that day
So he said lets do some surfing in the sun
So they surfed all the day
Down to the surf shop
With a surfboard in his hand
Buying gear to wear
New T-shirts everywhere
This place was surf gear land
He bought new board shorts for a pound
And a new summer top
He could have bought lots more
But they were closing the shop
Hmm Sunny the Goblin
Had to hurry on his way
With a little sigh he waved goodbye
Great shopping here today
Thumpety, thump thump, thumpety, thump thump
The sand's so hot it glows!
Thumpety, thump thump, thumpety, thump thump
Sunny carries his board running on his toes.!
Goblin slid into place and surrounded the maid
VeeLee felt his presence, turned and looked at the window shade
He saw her shiver, she somehow sensed that he was there
Goblin slid around her body, and slipped up the stair
With his devil’s head and his black ebony coat,
Goblin was one to be taken seriously, one writer wrote
Another empath who felt his presence as plain as VeeLee
He began to scoot into the darkness, feeling devilish and free
Green Goblin, Green Goblin, how terrible you are.
And only for a serum have you become a superstar.
A star of infamy and Spider-man’s worst foe,
spreading holy terror wherever that you go.
Aliases you have had, maybe up to five.
The third one, Dr. Bart, was not long alive.
As Norman, the original, you came back from the dead -
once again to fill our hero Spider-man with dread.
Norman’s son Harry used the serum too.
And Green Goblins many powers harry knew.
Superhuman strength and agility
and a genius too with regenerative ability.
Driven quite insane, you only wish to kill
and destroy all everywhere you’ve been.
“The five” incapacitated you, yet still
I bet we’ll be seeing you again and again.

The goblin king had a mind that worked magic within.
We have also heard rumors of the goblin king’s twin.
The play tricks on you, so keep your head about you.
Goblins are rare here, more likely in yonder blue.
What tricks do they pull? I asked the gossip galore.
She looked quickly around at the house next door.
I cannot say, for I have an eavesdropper there.
I was careful around the goblin king but admit I did stare.
It is almost automatic to stare at people different than you.
I could not help myself, my mind thought of yonder blue
There are a multitude of goblins there, why did this guy leave?
Some guy had a theory, but it was not plausible – his name was Steve.
Little boy goblin living deep in the woods so happy and gay.
I like to think of you when I crunch the leaves every which way.
Sometimes you appear as if by magic and it is so keen to see….
The way you are lively and fun like a friendly goblin can be.
The young Strut about in the muck, like blind crows.
Plucking shiny things to fashion powerful machines.
To launch themselves into the hologram of dream...
While the old slowly row between wreaths and stones.
Faith, like a gull feather, drifts away into the foam.
The machine flaming out a long time ago.
As the goblin keeps time to the caw of the crow.
