Silent Glances

Jazzy nights filled with romance
                      and glassy dreams ! 
Buildings lit beneath a sleepy sky
             of smudge coal gray 

His hand gently

I was an ethereal shadow in the corridors, a whisper of denim and shy glances floating among them

Invisible in their noisy bustle, a ghost with a too-polite smile, always on the edge,
Their notes flew like grenades, exploding into laughter that tore through the silence eating away at me inside,
I wore their words like a second

I have learned to exist in the shadows, to slip through glances

To be invisible in a crowd of faces, a different face for every room,
A sweet smile for strangers, a false tenderness for lovers,
A deep silence that echoes in my soul, an emptiness I keep only for myself.
I have been everything they wanted to see

Casual

From close to distant, we drifted away,
A smile once warm feels foreign today.
Like strangers again, we awkwardly greet,
Casual glances where my heart used to beat.
It’s strange to think somebody so near,
Could vanish like clouds and simply disappear.
I know I’m to blame for the things that went wrong,
But what’s in the past can’t change with a

Tender

I'm feeling beloved,
Touching smiles in your glances,
Tender devotion.

The Sidewalk Glances at Me

  The steady beat of rain on my head
    I glance at the sidewalk
    It glances at me
      bone dry as can be ~ 
   Are we alive or dead, verily

Your glances were pure
Pure like emotions
It stuck me hard into you that I couldn't take off.....

I wished our breaths lasted longer
Longer and sweeter than pomegranates

It made our bodies one
One for the world filled with hopes and more of purity

 saw I a little
 sun it blinded mine eye I
 saw sparkles and specks

blinded by the thought 
of dark I light so shining bright
eYes saw a little

rainbow embraces
light is mine confession debt

Oh soooo pretty
So wonderful to watch
My heartrate kept increasing
You kicked it up a notch
Stealing little glances
When you turned your back
Beauty in abundance 
None of it you lack

Turning 'round you caught me
Quickly I looked down
Too late to not be noticed
Your blue eyes caught my brown
But I was not embarrassed
I wanted you to see
That I was looking

Smitten By the Spring

When I stepped in here
I caught the unsymmetrical patterns on the wall,
The dark maroon contrasting curtains,
An open cupboard and 
A thick layer of dust on the broken mirror
The floor, the surrounding 
A damp room with beige walls 
And a glass window with twisted grills
Showing me my place, my cage

Romance built to woo 
stops the pulse of the shoreline; 
Hurricane glances.

Shouldn’t we readily agree,
Not to it like a decree,
Feeling really very free,
Unlike the under-lock-and-key,
That glances are for lent newspapers,
That shouldn’t in the borrowers hands last?
And to a reader, the foremost of his helpers,
Subduing the passages fast?

Men at the fascinating linger a glance,
But at The Suspicious glances steal,
Like detectives do on any sneaking chance,
With the demand

Pondering Sideways Glances

While walking I saw 
something move in the corner of my eye.
When I gazed straight at it,
it was gone.
But, on second glance, askance,
there it was, again.
To and fro, direct and peripheral,
it appeared and disappeared on cue.
Head down, focused, tunnel-eyed:
I missed the cherry blossom burst.
I missed the fledgling bird's first flight.
I missed seeing clouds both sides

Fatal Glances

Every time you make a new friend,
I make a new enemy

Every time you swear that you won’t,
my world falls apart

Every time you say it’s the last,
my grief is reborn

Every time I look in your eyes
