Time has its back to me
I've never ever seen its face
So since it won't acknowledge me
I won't give it the time of day
I think I lost my way somewhere
I’ve wandered off the map
I’ve gone as far as I might dare
Without setting off a trap
Give me a hand
Show me a sign
With you to back me up
I’ll be just fine
I fear I’m going off the edge
I see but empty air
I stand alone here on the ledge
And I haven’t got a prayer
Give me a call
Throw me a line
With you to back me up
I’ll be just fine
I guess I’ve gone a step too far
And there’s no going back
Sometimes I wonder where you are
Can you get me back on track?
I think our paths
Might just align
With you to back me up
I’ll be just fine
Give me a hand
Show me a sign
With you to back me up
I’ll be just fine
And what is love then?
can you tell me my friend?
is it something I can find?
is it some sort of spell?
has it be seen by anyone?
does it live anywhere?
is it only for the chosen ones?
or for any mongrel on earth?
And what is love then?
I'm feeling a little bit lost
nobody can really explain
the meaning of that word
is it something to achieve?
is it something we can score?
is it some sort of mystery
that I need to solve?
And what is love then?
does it even exist?
or is is just a ghost
crying on the street
dragging heavy chains
calling for its kids
regretting every decision made
begging for mercy?
And what is love then?
come on give me a hand
is it a name carved on a tree
or a heart drawn on the sand?
is it what I feel for my kid?
is it what I felt for man?
or is it only a sweet mirage
and the biggest cruelest scam?
And what is love then?
I really want to know
does it live up high?
does it live down low?
did I drop it by accident?
and it's covered with snow?
do you really know about it?
or just like me... you're not sure at all?
Jessica
Someone is waiting for you
Nights, walking on the street and drinking, just drinking, and thinking about you
Your memories come from the future, we never meet, I am waiting for the moments
The moments of first seeing, oh life give that incredible feeling! I need that heart!
Yes, that lady, is still unknown, but I know who is she, my dream, I just follow
I just follow my dream, a hope, that she will delete my dark life, change it into light
Enough, it is enough from my decadent life, an angel flies after me, a star in the sky
Someone waiting for you, oh my angel, please, show me the way, I need your hand
Your hand, please, give me a hand, pull me out of the pit of my sins, out of my grave
Give me a new life, a life that is yours always in the world, and in the time. Love far…
Love
you
My sins
your help
is
Loving you
I walk through the woods
(My legs aren't walking)
I walk through mountains
(Which hold me tight)
I feel my organs giving up
Oooh, the stars, surround me, or do the trees? Well the Bushes like blankets
(Blankets, blankets)
There must've been the little child, come give me a hand by hand.
And I love the Sound it does,
I love it i love it,
I love it i love it the singing it does.
The times, time?
,,Time is for me luck"
Luck? I thought luck is picked.
I feel empty, but sane
A flower surrounded by rain
Lost in my mess of thoughts
From all the sayings I've been taught
'Life gives you lemons,
Make lemonade.'
But just like me, the flavor will fade
'Patients is the key to greatness.'
But I've been waiting, yet I'm still filled with loneliness
My life is boring and bland
I just need someone to give me a hand
To guide me through this ruff reality
And maybe help me gain some popularity
But no one will come save me
Because to save me it cost a fee
One no one is willing to pay
But whatever, it's all ok
Soon I'll be truly free
And I'll be lost in a light, made just for me
But soon, is not soon enough
Because I'm too cowardly and stuff
I don't want to give up and die
No need for me to live in the sky
Maybe if I wait long enough
It will all come back by
Right?
Paul and Charlotte are up in the Rocket
Paul's barking out the orders
Right Charlotte, Under no circumstances, touch that socket
Okay Paul
It’s Sir to you
Now, I’m off for a kip
You’re on watch, now skip
That’s not fair
A girl has to tong her hair
He’ll never know
Little tong and a blow
See, stupid prat
Oops, what’s that
The Rocket has stopped
Oh, Sir! Paul
Think there’s been a malfunction
We seem to be heading down the junction
You touched that socket
A black hole is taking my Rocket
In your dreams, Paul
I’m out of your orbit
You’ve done it, Charlotte
It’s bust
God, you're obsessed with getting me undressed
Put that back in your pocket
It’s my sprocket
Is that what they call it
I’m going down
Not on me, I finish at three
If I can get it back to warp five
We might get out of this alive
Are you talking about the Rocket
That thing in your pocket, the sprocket
Give me a hand
God, what don’t you understand
Take a cold shower
You’re not getting my flower
Is that the power
Oh, Sir! Paul
I’m alive
You’ve taken me to a height that’s greater
Hold on a minute
Were you not wearing trousers
When we entered the Simulator.

I jumped a bit when the hearse was slammed.
My bones were brittle, and I felt quite damned.
My flesh was starting to gray up, it gave a laugh.
My eyes were sinking, and I felt a draft.
She’s not in there, someone assured my kin.
I knew it was true because of the shape I was in.
I had been confused at the onset of death of course.
I was still angry as hell at that run-away horse!
Can I see her one last time? A familiar voice said.
I was horrified. I did not want this guy to see my body dead.
NO! I yelled NO! But did they hear me? Of course not.
They opened it up and he yelled “She has some dry rot!”
I hate you I said. Get out of my face. You are a worm.
I saw him flinch, back up, scream, and finally squirm.
Don’t let anyone else see me this way! I told the undertaker.
But of course, he did not listen, that sneering give me a hand shaker.
How many more times are you going to open this hearse and lid?
Why don’t you just toss me in the street? I asked my Uncle Sid.
They put me in a hearse and whisked me away in the night.
I was relieved when I saw angels and headed straight toward the light.
Looking everywhere for the missed rib
In the bus, train and posters to lead
Pleaded God to provide with a little hint
Every time encountered with a gleam of a rib
Fooling myself thinking it’s mine to reap
Rinse and polish it to fit with the rest
Yet, not lucky enough to make a swear in a church
The rib that I found was not for me to get
All this time of searching rendered good for nothing
Nevertheless, the missed rib finally got found
She was not far from me to go for search’s second round
All this time by my side, never left despite the hard tide
When am alone, she was there for me to make me feel warm
When I needed help, she was there for me to give me a hand
That is the best friend that I always have
And the missed rib that I have been looking so far!!!
The Earth says
Be aware
That all its beauty
We must share.
The Earth says
Keep me clean
In the sea and
In the green.
The Earth says
breathe clear
Clean the air
which we hold dear.
The Earth says
Change your ways
Year by year and
Day and day.
The Earth says
Give me a hand
Ditch plastic
Recycle what you can.
It doesn't have to be much
If we each just do our share
So take out time
To show Earth you care.
The road ahead of me
Looks rough and hard to travel
The road ahead of me
Is making me unravel
You can never understand
If you’re not in my shoes
You try to give me a hand
But can’t see from my point of view
Sometimes even I don’t get it
Why I feel this way
But I feel like I could just quit
Every single day
You think I’m just not satisfied
But it’s not that
With my personality it’s amplified
And I just feel bad, bad, bad
The road ahead of me
Is looking dark and scary
The road ahead of me
Is far too much to carry
I feel what they all feel
Multiplied by twenty
It’s a win-lose deal
Feeling full or empty
Being too compassionate
Is a sort of problem
It can also be quite fortunate
But it’s hard when everyone’s watching
Sometimes I feel unsatisfied
But I don’t think it’s that
Everything is amplified
And it crushes me flat
But it gets easier
With a good friend to lean on
Suddenly you have a cheerleader
Suddenly you feel calm
The road ahead of me
Is looking brighter now
The road ahead of me
Is not so lonely now
My mother told me years ago.
That I was a king by right.
I didn't really understand,
So I looked it up that night.
It turns out some famous people,
Napoleon, queen Christina and lord Byron,
Not forgetting Alexander the Great.
They were all born "with a veil"
All caulbearers with the hand of fate.
Sailors would pay lots of money
For a prized veil, for their lucky charm.
It was said,it would stop them from drowning,
Keeping them safe from harm.
My mother said I was born with a caul,
And good luck will give me a hand.
With some of the things that have happened in my life,
Now I understand.
Living Tapestry
It seems I’ve always searched for perch amid the shifting sand
Past memories, mixing with new ones, blending to give me a hand
On a hot summer night life began as a bundle of joy to behold
Though joy, it seems, would slip and slide as my journey began to unfold
Unseen plates beneath my feet would move at inopportune times
The decisions made, plundering forward, I remember now in aged decline
Daily demands in hourglass time, life choices, from unforgiving sand
With finding the balance, of wrong and right, not always going as planned
My journey, a tapestry of colorful sand, might for some be a sight to behold
But the blessings I see, scattered within, are worth more than can ever be told.

Powerful, solid, ready to work,
My reliant embodied in steel,
With her tray reinforced to carry a load,
My battle hard automobile,
She doggedly moved tonnes of gravel,
Repeatedly throughout the work day,
Out to the farm to fill all the gullies,
Running along the driveway,
And groans and moans? Not from this girl,
Not in the wet, freezing cold,
She’s the machine that does every bit of the job,
Obeying whatever she’s told,
She’s my ute, my truck, my trusty and true,
Ready to give me a hand,
Ready to start and do the hard work,
With me, when I work on the land.
