resplendent

the lake's clear crystal
belies the ice hold's brittle
grasp yet I'm blissful

the springtime's warm sun
will quickly disperse the fun
blossoms have begun

in hearts young and old 
flirts and flirting growing bold
gifting more than gold

summer's golden sun 
brings forth the bursting blossoms
as lovers embrace 

beneath the bowers 
sweet youngsters are holding hands 
with time and pleasure

slipping towards dusk

My wretched soul so twisted by self doubt,
malingered on false words and fragrant lie.
Through turbulence and ever-endless drought,
in hushed distress, my inner child did cry.
Yet fervent help did temper my despair,
injecting hope to heal my restless soul.

I desire, into this world,
to be the bearer of many gifts;
to create, share and teach.

I believe in friends, and forgiveness by way of overkill
so I ran swiftly over, carrying my Minnie Mouse skateboard still.

There just below the surface,

The boundless sky.
The signs in the violet mist.

The gift of prophecy holds my thoughts
to discern the wickedness all around.
I am blessed with many gifts in my life
that God gave me with obedience.

I battled the spirit of fear for a long while
and God delivered me from his craftiness.
Now when he is near I can feel his little threat
and reveal his attacking presence quickly.
