Premium MemberMy Permission

In life’s fierce storms, I stand, my heart’s own mission,
No wound can pierce me without my permission.

The world may rage, its arrows sharp and swift,
Yet I decide if pain gains my admission.

Words like daggers, thrown with cruel intent,
Fall harmless when denied my heart’s submission.

For I am sovereign of my soul’s domain,
No trespasser can breach without volition.

The scars I bear are marks of battles fought,
But none can claim they won without condition.

In love and loss, in joy and bitter strife,
I hold the key—no hurt without decision.

So let them come, with all their might and main,
I am the gate; I grant or bar admission.

For in this truth, my spirit finds its peace:
No one can hurt me without my permission.

Premium MemberUnnamed Heart

Written: January 29, 2024 ______________________________________ Your eyes are the blades that slaughter my heart. These ruby lips store words that pierce my heart. Will my blood be enough to quench your thirst? Will your charm be suited to grab my heart? Your arms offer mere delight, they're steel traps. Your wish, a rod and shell to pound my heart. Your love is more lethal than snake venom. Your pledge of bliss will only break my heart. What dark dreams lurk in your tortuous mind? You're still plotting to softly mince my heart. Therefore, I don't have a name to defend. There are no hues required to show my heart.

Placed 3rd:

The empty house is silent, I can't see
Blinded by grief, it has overcome me

Your voice is not heard, dawn to the sunset
The loss of your strength has overcome me

Tears won't bring you back, I love and I lost
Heartbreak melancholy overcomes me

I'm broken, but your memories will heal
Through gaping pain that has overcome me

Premium MemberWhen you leave

dear, somethings in love are done without say,
in silence you may wish to walk away.

so please close the door gently as you leave,
so I may not notice till break of day.

hard to say goodbye when so much in love,
in sleep I dreamt you have chosen to stay!

for wounded hearts, dreams are a sure rescue,
bury in silence what you have to say.

next day when I learn you shall not return,
my eyes will wait for you, my heart will pray.

hope - when in love is such a helpless child,
it will seek your return along life’s way.

dear, wake me not to say final adieu,
may never sleep again till my last day.

such things love, are often done in silence,
so you may in silence just walk away.

Premium MemberBefore You

I never noticed diamonds in the sky before;
so mindless, let such moments pass me by before.

I never glanced a passing smile upon a face
of utter loveliness; it made me cry before.

I never hearkened such sweet, honeyed voice, so fell
upon the siren spell of Lorelei before

I never felt the brush of lips against my own
that were as soft as wings of butterfly before.

I never gave away the key that would unlock
my to heart be a caravanserai before.

I never suffered dawns sharp, stabbing agony
of partings, sorrow pain that I could die before.

I never knew it possible to soar so high;
and why? For there was not a you and I before.

Premium MemberBewitching of the Falling Hours

Bewitching of the falling hours, true ascendance found
By this chance to rise, I have real transcendence found
Your lips find a way to see me; two eyes make the voice
No tears I shed, you're being seen; no disruptence found
I'm stunned; are you a living form of ketamine?
It can't be; you touched me, I am not convenience found

Although you haven't experienced real love,
Please know that God loves you for he is love.

Hoping to find your one and only true love.

Embrace what you find let go and fall in love.

She appears with a poetic tinge but then melts into air
Her perfume like a burst of fragrance but then melts into air.

My dream was not effortless since I left the letters I kissed.
The endeared serves as the impetus but then melts into air.

O letter that enlightened me that she was real heartbeat?
And the pulse of the heart's rhythm responds but then melts into air.

My darling poet, can you have even a mustard seed's worth?
Without no more partner in her heart, but then melts into air.

Premium MemberLove's Longing

Love's longing reflects stillness as it longs
As the heart becomes weaker when it longs

This feeling in silence claims tomorrow
When the lonely heart yearns for love it longs

The eternal wish from love is profound
When heard in empty spaces as it longs

With a plea from the heart of love's need found
In hopes to find another whose love longs

Perhaps Frederic will find a welcomed love
One to fulfill a love for which he longs

Premium MemberArdent Love Affair

Hey baby. A world of endless awaking moments. With just you.
Come on baby, under gold dust and black-velvet sky. With just you.

Hey baby. Wave of ember flames, passionate eyes so sensuous,
I can't get enough being tangled, bare, wondrous high. With just you.

Fluttering butterflies arouses lambent ardent love affair,
flowering within me, baby, a lull comfort cry. With just you.

Hey baby, I dream of balmy rhythm breathes, the dawns yet to come,
numb kisses, great love, piece of fragment world left awry. With just you.

I crave not just a dream, but a life of forever, never death.
Bathe in sun's hypnotic spell before it hurries by. With just you.

Premium MemberIn My Dreams

Visit me again when I dream in my sleep,
I cannot rest, love! without you in my sleep!

Echo of your lilting laughter still rings deep,
moments of joyous love I dream in my sleep!

The raw mango orchards with fruits in a heap,
Sour effect on your face I dream in my sleep!

I walk past your brick house, past those grazing sheep,
Silence of your absence I dream in my sleep!

I remember carrying you up slopes steep,
Your warm arms around me I dream in my sleep!

Many coloured balloons we caught in a leap,
your fright when they pop loud, I dream in my sleep!

Do you think of me too whenever you sleep?
I dream of you dreaming of me in my sleep!

Premium MemberFrogs In Love

I can hear the frogs in the lily pond tonight,
Amongst crickets and squally rain they sing tonight!

I see ripples in lily pond in full moonlight,
Must be a romantic union of frogs tonight!

Lilies silently watch glowing amorous white,
Like holding lunar candles in the depth of night!

Many amphibian eyes twinkle, twinkle bright,
White trousers speckled green is the dress code tonight!

Lady frogs need to wear no lipstick to look right,
Gentleman ready to dance if they spawn tonight!

In glory of celebration not all is right,
Lurking in the dark will be hungry snakes tonight!

Premium MemberA Mother's Kiss

Vying for the love in a mother's kiss,
siblings oft compete for a mother's kiss.

Nothing alleviates boo-boos better,
than the love imbued in a mother's kiss.

A treasure greater than any other,
whereas love lies within a mother's kiss.

A loving gift given to all ages,
oft greeted with a grin, a mother's kiss.

It is such an incredible feeling,
that it makes your head spin—a mother's kiss.
