A Mother's Kiss

Softly pressed against skin, a mother's kiss—
            siblings seek reward in a mother's kiss.

 Nothing alleviates boo-boos better
            than the love that's built-in, a mother's kiss.

A treasure greater than any other,
            whereas love lies within a mother's kiss.

A loving gift given to all ages,
            a spontaneous grin, a mother's kiss.

Emile remembers that tender feeling
            which still makes his head spin: a mother's kiss.
