 As The Pendulum Sways
 and Time Drifts Astray,
and the Wind swifts away all that was
and returns it to it's Essence beyond the Ashes and Dust,
and the Ticking Withers into the Frey
leaving only that witch was Forged along The Way,
and all that remains is the Sacred Flame Of Truth
the Eternal Spark Of The Absolute,
Illuming like Stardust Into the night
and Scintillating unto the Sun Light,
Ever-Enduring, The Great Soul is Wise
 Progressing, Evolving, Ever-Upright,
Ever- So Bright, The Sacred Torch burns with life
Coming and Going, All Knowing, ALL TRIUMPH!

Birds of Prey

"Birds of Prey"

flights of fancy
forget freedom
has its price

a dance of
do or die

bluebirds
in Sing Sing mode
learn to pray

just as owls
and eagles
never surrender

a dance of
do or die

blue birds
become phoenix
above the fray

lit by light
carried on the back
of Frey

"The bluebird carries the sky on his back."
Henry David Thoreau

"It chanced one day that Freyr
had gone to Hlidskjálf,
and gazed over all the world;
but when he looked over
into the northern region,
he saw on an estate,
a house great and fair.
And toward this house
went a woman;
when she raised her hands
and opened the door before her,
brightness gleamed from her hands,
both over sky and sea,
and all the worlds
were illumined of her."

I once was funny, made most people smile.
Children loved me because they didn't know:
I kept them laughing, yet all of the while,
my heart was aching without loving glow.
A sad-looking smile was best I could show.
My true love left close to our wedding day--
enormous shock and I felt my heart frey.
If life's in tatters, I'll make my smile strong
for children need a clown along the way.
I'll be their sunshine and they'll be my song!

Pauper Angustum

a man of means and meager will
perched upon his window sill
playing vague for the promise of power
sings a song of a beg for the borrow
last chance, take the lead or follow
deny the headline buried shallow
a wink for here today gone tomorrow

patronize our cornerstone
lie to cover a backbone
stand upon the working hands
a great pretender in command
the artistic gesture moves the band
a flaunt for the sake of humanity
jaded swinging on a strand

depravity seeks a bended knee
prosperity stands with hypocrisy
all to shake down a charity
inspires food for the Frey
feed the mighty, deny the small
the future strums for us all
as the fool dances, a fool circle

a lust to hunt is the pounce of greed
posed the tiger crouching mean
we see a coward dwelling in debris
fallen deep beside the seeds for spring
every bloom fighting for the surface
eager to bend, flourish, live to die savage
the grasp to breathe, a place to seethe

Miracles Happen

Hope is diminishing as your body is disintegrating
Energy levels are depleting, yet spirit somehow isn't incinerating
More often then not is draining and debilitating
Life as you knew it is deteriorating
Limitations bring frustrations that are infuriorating
Through wider eyes can be rehabilitating
A more open mind can be liberating
A strong heart filled with pure love can be rejuvenating
Hampering medical conditions are non-discriminating
Their lifelong sentence can be incriminating
Sometimes along the journey from faith its easy to stray
During darkest of hours you may ponder why you bother to pray
Feeling defeated motionless you lay
It's in these moments your guardian angels are with you to stay
Carrying signs bringing comforting color to your world that seems gray
Summoning courage to face a new day come with it what it may
Life's meaningful purpose is reborn to your fragile soul that has began to frey
The will to fight to survive is a price you must pay
Modern medicine has come a long way
Miracles happen every single day

Rapula

back in the day where hustlers stayed there were those very afraid
he was born in the gutter his momma was a vamp selling her junk in the trunk of a car
up all night slept all day he was blown from the frey
viscious fangs that bite two turn tables with a mic insisted on a fight
sucking the innocent patrons for blood right in the hood like you knew he would
Rapula the man, the myth & the legend
could very often see him in the back of a seven eleven drinking red slurpees

took folks block by block like giving him a heart attack just to fit his mold
no one came against him until that day in the crib Rapula lost his lobster bib
very often you will see him at the 8th Street Station spinning his records
there will never be another blood sucking brother so move over he's taking cover
Rapula wore a high hat tip on his temple driving a white Benz looking like Baretta

Caveman Atmosphere Re-Created with a Twist

Should a caveman or woman accidentally wander into our time zone,
He or she would feel right at home,
With their keen ear easily able to interpret our not-so-subtle Grunts,
And groans.
Their good eyesight and sense of smell soon aiding them in finding a free meal.
On many a movie set.
With a home invite from the director or producer on the cards.

With real muscles and body strength dwarfing what we consider as Power,
Suitable for the Frey.
Able to leap from building to building with consummate ease,
They would soon adapt to our concrete jungle,
With their trusty club at hand,
Making us quiver as we hide behind the nearest bar.

Their fleetness of foot and turning speed able to,
Test out some of our smaller cars.
Their ability to deal to snakes in the grass an extra bonus.

Who would benefit most from this accidental meeting?
I think we would, as they would know where to find the best caves,
To help us overcome the housing shortage.

Same sun waking up each morning, same rules to the game
But each brand new day
Brings joy to the frey

Souls

life is but a fleeting glimmer in the grad stretch of things yet as we weave ever deeper into the tapestry of fate the wear of time quickly begins to frey our threads. Yet onward we trek in an ever fleeting quest for knowledge, for acceptance, for the beating of another heart. In and out of the stream we flow ever moving to eternity yet we are but souls cascaded against the many ramparts of our existence and like the shiny motes of light high in the sky we are many. through kinship we grow brighter and through perseverance stronger yet as time wears on the truth becomes an ever approaching reality. For as lovely as a glimmer life is it can not last forever so gather close those glimmers near you for together you may burn as the flash of a great star.

Premium Member A Tribute To Glenn Frey

Your words and songs they
touched our souls.
In disbelief, sad news unfolds.

In intensive care you fought the
fight!
On this sad night you lost your life!

Your lying eyes will play
forever.
You Being here, would be much
better.

Band members are missing you.
Adoring fans they feel it to!

Thank you for giving us one
last show. In Buffalo you played
your best Rock and Roll.

At the Sad Cafe we will go and see.
Why fortunes smile on some and
lets the rest go free.

Tequila Sunrises will guide
your way. Your cherished
songs will play and play.

I wish you well my dear old friend.
This world will never be the same...

Michael Tor

Dedicated to Glenn Frey Eagles Band founder.
"Wonder why fortunes smile on some and lets the rest go
free." Is taken from lyrics of Sad Cafe Song off the Long
Run album. I am forever grateful to Elena and my brother
Gus for getting me the tickets to their last to last concert
in Buffalo NY. They played one more together in Toronto.
Toronto was their last with Glenn alive. Long live Glenn Frey.....

Glimpse once again the old lyrics,
Lines echo well in fond refrains;
Etchings of pain in cool music,
Notes and strains tell poignant and plain;
Now find sweet peace dear singer sleep;
Float beyond brief to that sure light,
Reach that sure ease with rest most deep;
Exit sans grief beyond our sight,
Yes soul wings home with profound grace.
Ending seals fate upon these gates,
And then fond roam where joy thrills face;
Gifts of song state a vivid fate,
Love circles round as echoes flaunt,
Endow these grounds with tunes that haunt.
Sense style profound in worthwhile taunt.

Memorable songs touching our lives over the years. Magical musical
harmonies, tantalizing our listening ears.

Sentimental lyrics with chosen tranquil words. Perfect sounds in those
resonating guitar chords.

What a surreal feeling watching them play. Got lost in the moment, as
I was taken away.

Memories were made as they rocked all their fans. A Classic, Hotel
California, was played. Over and over again...

Long live Glenn Frey

Darkness falls blood swept fields today
Haunting sounds come from shattered bone
Stench floats, hangs from bodies decay
and cries are heard in fields of stone
Terrified men will turn to clay
Anguished faces that have no name
They are stepped on as they moan
No questions asked or feeling shame

Moonlight filters trees burned away
Hearts turn cold while fatigue has shown
Blood sticks to boots from the footway
Each man apart feeling alone
Sees his name on a gravestone stay
From this wanted war that they blame
As some scream out from deaths they own
No questions asked or feeling shame

Army of men cry from the frey
and hear whispered sounds, dead men groan
The cursed memories they will weigh
Men curl in darkness, fear has grown
They had to pass through hell's archway
and found no heros or acclaim
Only meadows of death they've sown
No questions asked or feeling shame

The anger comes, they can't postpone
Dead men's faces fill their mind's frame
Their nightmares now will set the tone
No questions asked or feeling shame

Galileo had his turn.
But with much still left to learn
the brown dwarf sat-----waiting.

Then came hubble to the frey.
Seeking in a finite way
the brown dwarf teasing.

Nibiru, if confirmed,
a new planet we have turned
from mystery to being.

A planet larger than Pluto has been discovered
in the outlying regions of the solar system.
The planet was discovered using the Samuel
Oschin Telescope at Palomar Observatory near
San Diego, Calif. The discovery was announced
today by planetary scientist Dr. Mike Brown of
the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena,

The Great Trickster Bird

From what time or place does this White bird hail?
With clapping thunder and striking lightning upon shale.
A feeling of dread before a feeling of fear,
knowing but wishing the creature wasn't near.
Creaking with sneaking does the wooden floor quake,
slowly and surely, the walls begin to shake.
A trickster and eater of men they say,
once thought a tale but now truth, pray.
Safety and escape would all be for naught,
for the beast would find you with all but a thought.
Plumage of white with specks of blood,
will it ever stop? or will the bodies flood.
A hunter of man steps forth from the Frey,
intent on making the beast-bird his prey.
Stabbing and slashing with all of his might,
into the beast's eyes to remove it's sight.
Biting and tearing the bird's wings away,
ensuring it can't fly yet another day.
rendered to naught was this great bird now made,
escaping from humanity and into obscurity would it fade.
Once majestic and fearsome, the bird king now shunted.
The great trickster-bird had now become...The Hunted.
