Premium Member Planting spring desires

A whispered wish, longing soil deep,
Touch the stars; all are called to weep
Trillions of lifetimes, we shall strive,
To grasp the heavens, to truly thrive

But distance vast, and transparent the walls,
Keep us from picking up on unanswered calls
A cosmic dance, swaying fraternally
Wanting touch, past the moon, eternally

Across the Earth, our fingers yearn,
Galaxies, expanse whispered to burn
To feel the warmth, the light, the grace,
A longing dream, of time, not of space

Each infuriating moment, we implore,
To touch that something, even more
But dark does not fade, and silence reigns,
In our roots grasp, demanding hope sustains

Lifetimes spent, our stems and trunks weather beat,
For that unattainable, distant treat
Trillions of years, our worship solar,
To touch heaven's, bright star and toller

Premium Member Sardar Patel

Memoriam of the Great Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel
Who was the first Vice Prime Minister and Home Minister
United each petty kingdom and state and made them dwell
In a single unit, and thus he did administer...

Ironman, he was called, due to his determination.
Kings and kingdoms, like thatched huts of coconut leaves, he shook.
For a united nation, he had no hesitation.
For this, each and every possible means he undertook

We heard, as a barrister, when he was hearing a case
He happened to get a telegram and just kept quiet.
Death of his wife! Yet, as a man in war, he took his place.
Fraternally, he and Neheru tackled each riot.

We had such politicians those days, I'm sorry to say.
We lack such. Is this why we have to go the statue way...?

Premium Member I Know a Place

To phylum Ocimum basilicum belongs basil,
Into genus, Corylus included the plant hazel;
If purslanes, cattails, chickweeds, and wild carrots have their base,
Why can't I, in the universe vast, have and know my place...?

Might be like a minute gleam; or a shining bright sunbeam;
Might be like an oasis stream; or a nocturnal scream;
Like a buzzing butterfly; or a dazzling dragonfly;
Like a fox, cat, or rat... to nature's ways, I might comply...!

Not my ego, like a lotus, my psyche will stand high,
And fraternally pass my fragrance to the passersby;
Even an inch enough, I'm not saying out of my pride,
I know a place - my place, my space, my nest - where I'll abide...!!!

Time

If time heals all, what heals time?
For it cannot be changed, its burned into history, burned into the fabric of time like a scratch on a track.

Time can make us feel regret that we did not use it the best we could or it can make us rejoice remembering that good moment in time.

It is a fickle thing that most will not appreciate until it’s gone.

I myself have had more pain than good, but does that count as bad time as it made my character and is the reason I have this strength and insight on life.

So I don’t believe in or good or bad moments in time, its all on how we look at it and use it going forward.

The most important thing to remember and learn from the past is that we ALL make mistakes . . but only a fool repeats them.

Yours Fraternally
