I live and love fearlessly.
I live and love fiercely.
I lived and loved falsely.
I lived and loved freely.
I am living and loving fulfillingly.
I am living and loving fantastically.
I am life and love firstly.
I am life and love forthrightly.
I live and love felicitously.
I live and love fastidiously.
I lived and loved ferociously.
I lived and loved fragmentally.
I am living and loving freeheartedly.
I am living and loving flirtatiously.
I am life and love figuratively.
I am life and love fundamentally.

An Alliterative Pursuit Of A Lover
I will firstly frankly forwardly forthrightly fastidiously befriend you.
Then I will completely correctly courteously candidly chastely court you.
Then whencesoever I have wonderfully wackily warmly wooingly won wed you,
I’ll be free to laughingly longingly lustily lecherously lasciviously licentiously lengthily ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly
Gladly gently graciously gratefully gallantly grandly greatly love you forever.

The meadow is beginning to stir ever so slightly
Tinges of new green growth in tiny buds appearing
The dying browns of winter are still unsightly
The meadow is beginning to stir ever so slightly,
And I, I am taking a new, fresh look, forthrightly
In this fascinating meadow I find so endearing,
The meadow is beginning to stir ever so slightly
Tinges of new green growth in tiny buds appearing.
The dying browns of winter are still unsightly [but]
The meadow is beginning to stir ever so slightly,
And I, I am taking a new, fresh look, forthrightly
In this fascinating meadow I find so endearing
Tinges of new green growth in tiny buds appearing,
An exhilarating high, knowing that spring is nearing.

[This is a "trionet," which combines
the 14 lines and features of a sonnet with
the repetition of lines in a triolet. A
poetry format I invented]

Born in Whittlesea,
Lately fortressed in Granby,
Sir Charles crossed an ocean,
Happening upon Lady Renee, a damsel distressed by devotion.
Forthrightly, yet politely, he comes to her aid,
With courtly dances, duets and serenades,
Awakening this maid from endless reverie,
On loss that caused her injury.
His knightly bearing reassuring and winning,
His humor sudden and cunning.
With such chivalry her life force is rising,
Suddenly she’s a Phoenix, finding it all quite surprising!
Having forsaken her own crusade,
Everyday life became a masquerade,
Recalling unbidden her grail, she asks, no longer constrained,
Was this encounter preordained?
Is it her destiny to help this noble soul mend,
From wounds in recent battle sustained?
So she prays the power descends,
To rescue each other and be joyously contained.

It was a bigly time ago.
I was rock and rolling.
The guys wore gel or mop-top beads;
The girls were cool strolling.
Asking for her time, forthrightly,
Permissions all obtained.
A friendly double date, indeed,
In stylish dress, constrained.
Hands held, nervous knees, butterfly
Bellies and Summer Sun.
Zombie kids shuffling to their doom
With cold-foot pizza fun.
Names all changed to insure the past:
Pete and Prue ate like hogs.
Joe loved June with all of his heart --
Until the girls shrieked, "frogs!"
Joe chased Pete around the table,
Marinara splattered.
Napkins called an encore order.
June and Prue both flattered.
Joe and Pete were at it, again.
Girls with sticky-face smiles.
We settled down and sauntered home.
A night of teasing trials.
Just before parting, Joe kissed June --
So ... unsymmetrical:
He was cloud-sailing, upside down.
June smelled boy chemical.

Serendipitous glance across the long room
A hopeful glint seeped into occular womb
A sentient twinkle spun from salient loom
Subsequently, arched brows intent did presume
Spectral light in her lovely irises began to bloom
Radiant beam forthrightly my way did zoom
The lurid flare created a heartfelt sonic boom
The residual glare romantic insights did illume
Lingering, telepathic stare twining desires did groom
Her unyielding focus did my libido consume

In youth's frantic clutches
Addicted to vapid touches
Love children spawned in shaded hutches
Existing on euphoric highs, painless crutches
In middle age, lust morphed into longing
Spent body in static sphere now belonging
Neglected prodigy seeking shelter in availing arms
Licentious, pretentious friends fled in swarms
Sins of youth girdle my deserted gates
Promiscuous flings my esteem deflates
Rebellious children their fealty abrogate
Venal lovers rue my chaster estate
In deep morass, my withered soul equivocates
Bridging divide of self pity, butressing hope inflates
Then residual pain with due penance heart conflates
Seeking self forgiveness; from others proffering rebates
Healing balm of inner resolve soothes empty soul
To wayward children unconditional love tendered not in
part but whole
To fair weather friends only distant compassion will dole
Forthrightly, to bring uplifting, sharing friends into my
foal

On yonder strand
In bridled land
A motley band
With vigor fanned
Across hill, lowland
With self righteous brand
Seeking brigand contraband
From each licentious hand
To forthrightly remand
Every highway spanned
Tolls, tribute to demand
Each pilfering cleric did reprimand
Then every bloated collection was
panned
Every royal vestige scanned
Gratuitous coffers to expand

Christmas tidings boldly blare
Limp hands raise; taut lips flare
Minstrels and accordions pair
Rite, decorum forthrightly pare
Songs, instruments roundly declare
Strum the harp 'till spindly strings wear
Clang the cymbals revelry to share
Ring the bells no mirth we'll spare
Sing the melody a heartier fare
Loud your anthems fill the air

My muse did her fealty recuse
My honor she did stealthily reconnoiter
My discourse was grounds for divorce
Finding my writing no longer enlightening
My blithe parlance no longer my mistress did entrance
With my prose she did forthrightly dispose
Each short she did subsequently abort
Each regaling verse did prudently disburse
Each perforated line truncated with lackluster shine
Each conjured sentence only increased my penance
Each glamorous byline she did smugly decline
Each dilated phrase with a bridling border did encase
Each gilded stanza a burnished extravaganza yielding no artful bonanza
Each tethered word coagulated into a stolid curd
Each bloated quote sunk my creative float deeper in the moat
Each lofty rhyme labeled too smarmy and sublime
My metric time no longer struck a concordant chime
Each literary device neatly spliced would not even a novice entice
Each repetitive, stagnant metaphor made my verse a bore
Each strained, tortured simile engendered no empathy
Each supplanted metonymy a shock wave lobotomy

Jeremiah feels the heat forthrightly
His donations lower more than slightly
While the plate is passing
Seems surely it’s fasting
As it stops and dangles politely

Eagerly joining the nation's martial order,
Becoming Uncle Sam's itinerant boarder,
Pledging to defend my country's border,
Against foreign malice and internal disorder.
Callously disregarding my own personal ambition,
Carelessly abandoning familial bonds and social position,
Caustically enlisting in the my country's latest inquisition,
Cheerfully pledging to defend abstract values without condition.
Forthrightly conditioned to to obey without recourse,
Instantly melded into mindless, fraternal force,
A provisioned robot, a designated national resource,
Vetted to die for patriotic cause without slightest remorse.
Subjugated to the imperial dictums of state,
Compensated a minimal wage for perilous fate,
Commissioned to fight amorphous foes without face,
Trained to annihilate belligerents without trace.
