Children pick up cues from all
The people that surround them,
Formulating ways to interact
With those around them.
As they grow, they learn how some
Behaviors will affect them
And also how their actions
Might cause people to reject them.
But on the other hand, they find
Some manners to embrace,
Expecting adulation, though
That might not be the case.
Our personalities evolve
From witnessing those cues
And learning which traits help us
And which others we should lose.
Yet sometimes we are clueless
Of the way we are perceived,
For early interactions
Weren’t trusted or believed.
To some, life is a struggle,
Trying way too hard to please,
While to those who are oblivious,
They never need appease.

I’m not speaking someone’s words
I don’t do somebody’s actions
Neither the Commons, nor the Lords
Represent my interactions
Journalists can rend the air
Formulating rather bluntly
What I am, but I’m not there
I don’t live in paper country
In my country there are trees
Gardens and some benches too
Parks and lawns, and birds and bees
People who say “I love you”
Music, arts, two-storeyed mansions
Ponds and rivers, cloudy skies
Things that wouldn’t get a mention
For the lazy reader's eyes
I’ve no use in politicians
That’s an awful part, isn’t it?
And moreover, the ficticious
Thing like ”nation” I don’t need
On the side of unessentials
I live carelessly free
Telling you no confidentials
What’s my country, they can’t see.

Let the holy spirit
Leads you, into Ncede
Formulating the unbelievable
Let the ancestors
Leads you, into Jenene
Formulating the unknown
You were born for a reason,
The lies are showing themselves
Embrace yourself For the truth
God exists
The confusions are about to be resolved
Embrace yourself For the results
God is truly honest
You were born to be there,
Let your inner self
Leads you, into Ncede
Formulating the individualism in you
Let your spirits
Leads you, into Jenene
Formulating peacefulness in your soul
You were born for the unknown.

Here appears diversity and divisiveness --
Similar words with different meanings,
I must not allow them to come between
Those folks who exhibit different leanings.
Diversity is a good thing, expanding my mind
Divisiveness frequently foments contention,
While it seeks to enforce its firm beliefs
Often giving no opposing views attention.
Diversity must be differences understood
And appreciated as a part of our culture,
Not thinking of differences as dividing
But enriching, becoming part of our nature.
I can never see everything as others do
For I am constantly formulating my ways
But I will try my best to understand you
And accept you, as you are … always!

One day, the boy becomes a man
When it happens he hardly knows,
It seems to have been a noble plan
Some say that’s just how it goes.
For oft he’d heard, “Boy, grow up!”
Followed by this, “Act like a man!”
First, he noticed a strange hiccup
Then, he sounded like a frogman.
He outgrew all of his favorite jeans.
They said he was all legs and arms
Fast approaching his middle teens
Other signs set off anxious alarms.
He began formulating his life plan
And making decisions on his own,
He becomes certain that he’s a man
When he takes out his first car loan.

Opinionated people with possibly distorted truths
The loudest ones thinking they are winning
Many others consulting psychics and say-sooths,
My sis and I agree on one thing, we are twinning.
The loudest ones thinking they are winning
The din in the horizon is formulating an angry mob
My sis and I agree on one thing, we are twinning
Pulling apart America USA should not be our job
The din in the horizon is formulating an angry mob
Insurrection is not important says the non-thinking party
Pulling apart America USA should not be our job
With lack of integrity, how do we remain hale and hearty?
Insurrection is not important says the non-thinking party
Where does honesty, decency, and respect enter in?
With lack of integrity, how do we remain hale and hearty?
The masses are in turmoil, and our togetherness is thin.

The brain is an incredibly efficient computer
Compressing trillions of bytes of information,
Registering every impression we encounter,
Analyzing concepts from formation to causation.
Compressing trillions of bytes of information
In milliseconds without hesitation, unrelentingly,
Analyzing concepts from formation to causation
Remarkably, it even functions unconsciously.
In milliseconds without hesitation, unrelentingly,
It processes the continual intake of our senses
Remarkably, it even functions unconsciously,
Outlining proposals, formulating our defenses.
It processes the continual intake of our senses,
All while regulating our involuntary responses
Outlines our proposals, formulates our defenses
Even evaluating the most complicated nuances.
All while regulating our involuntary responses
Registering every impression we encounter,
Even evaluating the most complicated nuances
The brain is an incredibly efficient computer.

Looking at the need
They devolved the
means to which they
Would create
Examining detail and
Formulating plans to
Create that which needed
To be.
Which needed change and
Structure
Which needed fabrication
and making
In full respect of each other's
abilities and short comings
they labored to plan
With full detail
Calculating every minute
From man power
and machine hours
Beyond the boundary of
Not knowing
To scale within the realms
Of the mechanics and
Sciences trusted and truthed
All there were in the agreement
Of creation
The work in progress
Encouraged by the nessicity
Of need

Trixie is a muse that is less than amusing
I wake up as she feeds the last line of the best poem ever into my mind
I jump out of bed, take care of the body a bit, and bam.
The entire line is gone, even the first word.
I can hear her snickering.
I spend the rest of the day trying to capture or reinvent the best poem ever.
She does not do this to me daily, but about three times a month.
My writes are frenzied, furious, purposeless even.
I toss things down onto a page that don’t make sense even to me sometimes.
But I am compelled, obsessed, deranged, cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs now.
Frantically attempting to capture
the poems that Trixie is formulating in my sleep,
The ones she teases me with.....

The poems that Trixie is formulating in my sleep, and teasing me with.
I cannot not write, so I keep doing it.
To no avail, and yet, it is a compulsion that has overtaken my soul.
If I could stop I might.
Maybe.
Maybe not.

How long must the hostility and bitterness continue
The clear majority has made its preference known,
The higher courts of the land have verified what is true.
How much evil and vindictiveness are together sown
Like springtime plantings of wheat and chaff --
Hateful attitudes no one should glibly want to own.
There seems no meeting ground with the other half
No time or place for formulating a working compromise
Relishing every unintentional slip-of-the-tongue gaffe.
A feeling something right and good in America will die
That never again shall we experience the noble calling
To truth, giving praise and adulation to those who lie.
Are we watching the great republic that is America falling?
Our future demands we respond to truth’s higher calling.

define what be truth
without an expiration date
with respect a consumer society
where-in time is change
even as constant
t's a contradictory reality
of negating
the negations called limits
of some defined actuality
with regards a relativity
called a perspective
mind formulating
irrational transcendental
constants of imagination
even such as halloween pumpkins
transcendence as roundness
to flatten in one dimension
as pumpkin 'pi'
stan sand
