fluorescent yellow paint
I paint a sun
center of a flower
stripes of a dinosaur
giant tulip with peach tips
eyes of a cat
dots on a ladybug
clown fish fin
butterfly wings
Dots on a mushroom house
fluorescent yellow paint

Neon’s radioactive glow in a window,
offers the cheap promise of pleasure.
Like a hypnotic, fluorescent serpent,
It flashes, blinks and winks - “Welcome”

It fairly slithers on rain-slicked boulevards,
it warms like moonlight on cold unfriendly nights,
It signals cool, ready fun in the summertime.

We dress our vices in silky, pastel colors,
gamblers choices of Disney flavored whiskies.
It’s the soft, velvet

In a universe of glass and steel, where fluorescent light dances on cold walls,
We have lost ourselves, men of the age, caught in the trap of a paper dream,
Where the tie becomes a noose, suffocating any impulse of freedom,
And each day is an absurd play, performed under the gaze of relentless shadows.
Here, in the cages

Sitting in the glow of the sink's fluorescent light bulb.
Relaxing on his couch as I am playing and writing on my phone.
Thinking of all the things to tell him when he is fully awake.

The Comfort of Fluorescent Strangers

Driving to the hospital, you crack jokes.
Jokes about hate, and wanting to leave.
Those aren’t really jokes.
The truth is so easily heard.
I didn’t even have to say anything.
The silence suffocated you.
So you suffocated me back.
Rubbing my back,
Kissing my cheek,
Holding my hand.
You knew I didn’t want it.
My “attitude” said it all.
The fluorescent lights blinded me.
I didn’t want

impressions crystallise, shaped as our words
expressions we realise, mere symbols feeble
prayerful heart, by touch going deep inwards
delineates ineffable emotions through parables

each life sensation both immediate and intimate
enlivened in loving hues by our radiant heart
presence flutters, to subtle joy tremors gyrates
invisible flickers signal when bliss ignition starts

there is no way to freeze the frame of life

midst the flowers, trees
the butterfly flutters high
it's color beauty

colors fluorescent
rainbow wings satin pining
fly butterfly, fly

Green Fluorescent Color

Road behind a tree
takes's noon of safety zone.
For the night, the place of light,
such as the clearance of spots of the shadow,
I wanted colored with green fluorescent color.

Fluorescent Heart

A cold, dark, and evil heart can become oh so fluorescent, this is yet another powerful message, a kind bright heart is the humans most deadliest weapon, you kill them with kindness, look back on the good times as if life had a rewind sense, but you will never find this.....there is a time when

The Fluorescent Roof

Fields grow in a tantrum of noise, lightened up eyes rush towards the glint,
Twisted strands and torn seams, fixed stares and pennies for the well.
A shadow upon your silhouette and covered from the sun, circled by absense.

An ethereal night, fluorescence lit a ladder to the roof.
Sculpted from the forest, and blown from the wind,
Sat in

Fluorescent Beauty

My fluorescent beauty, with lips so pink and fruity
With a smile that's flawless an cutie

With skin, radiantly silky smoothie
And a kiss, so wet and drippingly juicy

like her melanin sista, illuminant with a glow
All

Fluorescent Wasteland

salt flats
stretch for miles
in grocery stores
chip isle, frozen foods
seven and thirteen, respectively
reflect their shine
of white light
enticement

all organisms dried up,
fifteen per cent more, but lacking
in this pre-packaged
wasteland
where nothing ever grows
or dares to walk without
a list to double check.
