I remember our first kiss
Your lips light and sweet against mine
I can't recall of another thing
That ever felt so truly divine

My heart was beyond throbbing
Beating merciless inside my chest
As far as kisses you can go
This one had to be the best

I swear we were floating
Hovering just off the ground
The things around us slowly disappeared
Until there was nothing left around

The moment our lips touched
It was the first time I felt perfection
I have never before anything
And strong as this type of connection

I was sitting there my mind swirling
And these emotions racing through me
I've never been lost like that
Suspending in a state of ecstasy

Premium Member Seventy-Thirty: First Kiss

Ninety-ten looked clever, written neatly on a page.
Seventy-thirty smiled and quietly took the stage.
Lean in just enough to let love choose the way.
The sweetest kisses pause before they learn to stay.
No stopwatch counts the heartbeat hiding in the air.
No ruler knows the distance brave hearts choose to dare.
A peck becomes a promise if both smiles agrees.
Two laughing hearts rewrite the rules with ease.
The first kiss was never waiting on a chart—
It only knew the distance: heart-to-heart.

First Kiss

In that moment, the world vanished away.
I need a moment, perhaps a day.
Perhaps a lifetime, if I may.
To describe your beauty, to love I say.

Are you the dream, or was I dreaming.
I felt my heart completely stop beating.
Sunshine, Moonlight, our favourite fruits.
My heart searching yours, finding truth.

Destiny, fate, embrace the passion.
Perhaps this is real, not a dream, it’s happening.
Our Hearts intertwined, true love’s crafting.
I hear her beauty, my soul mate laughing.

Lost in your eyes, loss of words.
Angels singing, morning birds.
All I feel with you is eternal bliss.
I’ll never forget, our first kiss.

Premium Member THEIR FIRST KISS

He remembers everything about their first kiss
It’s a feeling that never goes away…
He remembers their first kiss…as if it happened yesterday…

And after all these years he still kisses her the same…
before each kiss he holds his breath
and with a smile…shuts his eyes…
and here's the reason why…

He closes his eyes when he sleeps…
to allow his dreams to come through…
and he closes his eyes when he kisses her…
because each kiss another dream come true.

He held his breath before their first kiss…
which he still does today….
because every time she kisses him…
she takes his breath away.

He understands how lucky he’s been…
that together in life they’ve been immersed
and he knows if there ever is a last kiss between them
it will be as beautiful
as exciting
and as beautiful
as the first.

Two people, first kiss
don't know how to kiss for sure
practice makes perfect

Premium Member My First Kiss

My first kiss was with a boy named Scottie
He was new that year
A freshman like me
We were sixteen

He was quiet
Tall and slim
And easy to make smile
I liked him

I asked him to homecoming
And he said yes
And that night when he said goodbye
I had my first kiss

But a few days later
I broke his heart

Not because I meant to
I just didn’t feel that spark
There was no wow factor
It was my first kiss
And it felt like nothing

So, I ended it
Without explanation
And for months
He wouldn’t speak to me

By the next year
We managed to become friends
Never more
Even in the moments we both wished otherwise
It didn’t feel right for me

It’s been twelve years
Sometimes, I see him at the grocery store
Still tall, still slim
Still smiling

But when he passes
There’s no eye contact
No words
I’m unrecognizable and forgotten
But I didn’t forget

He’ll never know my first kiss taught me to listen for the feeling that wasn’t there
He’ll never know the impact he had
And I never thanked him
For letting me break his heart

First Kiss

I can feel my pulse in my fingertips,
like my hands are trying to escape.
Do I lean in? Do I lean back?
Please don’t let me stumble over my own feet.
My heart is doing that ridiculous thumping thing.

Why does it feel like the world is waiting?
Should I say something? Something clever?
No, just stay quiet, it’s fine.
Just breathe…oops, too noticeable.
Why is everything suddenly so tricky?

Your eyes are so close, almost too near.
Okay, maybe not, maybe it’s the perfect distance.
What if my lips are awkward? What if I taste strange?
I’m panicking, yes, in every corner of me.
I tell myself stop, act normal… but my pulse gives me away.

“Hey… is everything okay? You seem nervous.”
I nod too fast, my thoughts scattering everywhere.
I want to laugh, I want to crawl under a rock.
I feel like I might float or fall all at once.
My eyes dart everywhere, but you’re right here, holding my hand.

And then it happens, gentle, hesitant, soft.
Our lips meet, and my stomach flutters.
It’s awkward, it’s funny, it’s perfect in its messiness.
I think, maybe this is how first kisses are meant to feel.
And I secretly hope it never ends.

Like a first kiss is first poem

It scarce starts as a well-formed line,
But as fuzzy thoughts if genuine,
All along you feel tense
As if under sentence,
A strange itch not of skin
In time gets somewhat mean
Whilst fuzzy thoughts begin to get some shine,
Words vie to form, play bin,
Show some rare discipline,
Slowly ever so slowly,
And somewhat painfully,
Though twisted, words make a fair twine.
Most poems born are much like this
From chaos, mental catharsis,
And feel like life’s first kiss.

The Memory of You---First Kiss

I can still feel your lips on mine,
your fingers tangled in my hair.
I can still smell your sweet perfume,
a whisper lingering in the air.

As if you're with me every hour,
as if your love will always stay—
as if I’ve known you a thousand years
and fell for you again today.

Won’t you listen to my song?
It rises straight from the heart.
I’ll sing to you of all I feel—
yes, that is where I’ll start.

My love for you is unconquerable.
My love for you is strong.
My love for you will never fade;
it will last my whole life long.

Last night, we kissed for the first time.
Last night, I knew love that was true.
Now the memory burns in my mind—
the memory of you.

FIRST KISS

“ FIRST KISS “

         TODAY WILL BE TOMORROWS PAST
THIS PRECIOUS MOMENT WILL NOT LAST
NO ONE OWNS THIS PIECE OF TIME
IT’S OURS TO SHARE YOURS AND MINE
TOO SWEET TO LAST VERY LONG
OUR FIRST KISS WILL SOON BE GONE

All these dark and secret places
only I have known and explored.
The hidden other-world
of lips and teeth and tongue.
Mine alone for these many years.
The tastes, both bitter and sweet.

The feel of my mouth, the sensitive swollen softness
of my bottom lip between a gentle bite.
I scrape it along my teeth.
Hidden in plain sight,
a constant awareness in the back of my mind.
So busy, in motion, often habitual.

Then two worlds meet…

I taste your lips, their texture and shape.
Flashes of lightning track
from the tip of your pink tongue
 through my core.
I am aware of my womb
for the only time it has known pleasure instead of pain
as a sweet tension and ache begins there.
A million nerves come alive
as the muscle in my mouth twists and licks,
getting to know your smile from behind your teeth.
We dance in this inner world,
the most intimate communication I've ever known.
How very strange it is to desire someone else's spit!
I shake my baffled head at this but, yes,
let me sip at that sweet nectar
like a little hummingbird…
as I hummmm…

Premium Member Our First Kiss

The first time we kissed I felt at home
I had finally found a place to belong.
My heart and soul instantly created,
A bond that was immensely strong.

A tingling sensation ran through me,
From my head to the bottom of my feet.
In all of my life I have never
Tasted lips so elegantly sweet.

As my arms wrapped around you,
You wrapped around my heart.
With one kiss I was convinced,
You were my life's counterpart.

Holding you warmly in my embrace,
With the softness of your lips on mine.
Even the world had to stop spinning,
In order to witness this love so devine.

Love's First Kiss

Engulfed in you and I
As you and I faithfully
Wilding the test of time
For since the creation of time,
They said that her love was blind
I'm just saying,
I'm part of her first creations
But that doesn't mean that she's there,
Where patience stares looking down on you and I
Hoping the gracious Creator looks over me

Premium Member First Kiss

A big warm hug, a strong embrace
I brush the hair from off your face
Then look you deep into your eyes
So deep I find I'm lost inside

With both my hands, one on each cheek
I slowly bring your face towards me
I move towards yours, deadlocked in stare
Our eyes then close when halfway there

We know the way, our lips collide
Without a map, without a guide
And as we kiss the mortars fly
Chrysanthemums burst in the sky
Rivaling fourth of July
First kiss, a second is implied

Premium Member First Kiss

Her lips were firmly planted on mine
It is a moment I will cherish for all time
Remembering back to my first kiss thinking this would be the girl I would marry
I could tell she was the one when she gave her books to carry
My friends were at school the next day ready to make fun of me in their usual way
When is the wedding and are we invited I heard them say
Why is it the first girl we kiss we think it is going to be our future wife
Then reality sets in letting us know we are still teenagers barely starting in life
The chances of spending the rest of my life with that girl are small at best
It does not usually take very long before you have journeyed to another quest
One thing I can say for sure I will never forget that first kiss
Which leads the way to new adventures of future bliss
