Our First Kiss

The first time we kissed I felt at home
I had finally found a place to belong.
My heart and soul instantly created,
A bond that was immensely strong.

A tingling sensation ran through me,
From my head to the bottom of my feet.
In all of my life I have never
Tasted lips so elegantly sweet.

As my arms wrapped around you,
You wrapped around my heart.
With one kiss I was convinced,
You were my life's counterpart.

Holding you warmly in my embrace,
With the softness of your lips on mine.
Even the world had to stop spinning,
In order to witness this love so devine.
