I'm in fine form on this sunny afternoon
Feel like frolicking like a silly baboon
What's strange about that
Quite normal for this brat
Brought into this world with a bent silver spoon
Evenings chill lingers
into the blue light
a wayfarer of fine form
dolefully finds himself
A listless man wishes
on brazen stars
burning deep into his dreamy glare
Against the dark elm
the form of a boy is seen
it prevails amongst the darkened skies
He is his own master
forging his destiny
A distinguished soprano named Dinah
sings arias in North Carolina.
But her favourite thing,
without doubt, is to sing
selections from Handel's Messiah.
With extraordinary vigor and pith
she sings "I Know My Redeemer Liveth".
When she goes to perform
she'll be in fine form
and precisely know how to giveth.
Robert’s crafted a fine form
of poetry we will sup
drink from philosophic cup
his creativity’s now reborn.

I'm in fine form on this sunny afternoon
Feel like frolicking like a silly old baboon
What's strange about that
Quite normal for this brat
Entered this world with a bent silver spoon
Growing up my parents continuously brawled
Verbally and throwing things was the norm
This day was uniquely funny
My Sis thought it was not
As an adult my sister sees the comic side
Though she was left a little traumatized
The events that transpired left me mesmerized
Father was busy kneading bread with pride
Mother cooking stew in the pot
Day was nice and sunny
Until mom and dad started brewing up a storm
Juiced words and names were ultimately called
Dough enough to make twelve loaves was angrily balled
Then thrown with strength, precision and fine form
Mom scurried like a swift bunny
As to the fridge Sis trot
Did not see it coming, no time to jump aside
Dough pinned Sis's head to the fridge, she was pressurized

~ The night's alive and a-shiver ~
The moon's a sliver
a hammock without strings
a pale banana with wings
The night's alive and a-shiver
Just you and me on a musical spree
hitting the clubs, dancing up a storm
sleek in our costumes, displaying fine form
Doing the splits cross the floor, spread-kneed
The hour grows late, but what do we care
feeling boundless energy nearly exploding
at midnight we drink a toast to re-loading
Ahead of us lay new and brave dares
Tick-tock, one o'clock; it is already two
Our hearts are still young, but our feat feel weary
We retreat to a corner, vision somewhat bleary
So we sing Auld Lang Syne and down a few...
Brrrrrriiiing goes the alarm. 6 am. Can it be?
Time to shake a leg, get out ahead of the day
The music and dancing yet whirling in our heads
We turn off the blinking alarm, and go back to bed

Take a sip
On this trip
In good time
Taste rich mime
Tea cuppa
Not mocca
In a brew
Fine form stews
Quick clear taste
Sip blunt haste

Taut tale telling
Feel fault fumbling
Lines linger loud
Praise prompting proud
Lift love lasting
Frame fine feasting
Joy juice jesting
Fine form feeling
Watch words wander
Prize poise plunders
Words willing work
Jazz jumpy jerk
Meet moments mild
Word wanders wild

Live, love, laugh -- Laugh, love, live
Set sure stuff -- Stuff sure set
Bloom good seed -- Seed good bloom
Form fine feed -- Feed fine form
Joy cheers feel -- Feel cheers joy

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In your calm sight
I see the light
Shine very bright
In feel most right
In your fine soul
I come to know
A poignant whole
That ever shows
In your embrace
I know kind grace
Now face to face
In time and space
In your love grand
I find blessing
A lover friend
A glimpse thrilling
In your sure light
I find my way
To precious sights
Each brand new day
In your kind eyes
My world now rooms
With happy sighs
And floral blooms
In your sure way
Home and heart glows
Fond cheer that plays
A mystic show
In your fine form
Love comes to call
In sublime norms
Despite life's gall
In start and end
We come around
With hearts that blend
In timeless grounds
