She was called Jules, nickname for Julie
She had flaming red hair and eyes
of emerald green
Every time she walked into a room,
just her presence caused quite
an electric scene,
She made her living writing songs
& acting on the silver screen
Meanwhile the guy she Loved was
a simple blue collar man,
Gave her everything he could
Just wanted her to have all the good,
Said, "I'll support you anyway I can"
The world would never know his name,
He never sought fortune or fame,
But at day's end, they were each other's
Biggest fans
By: J.N.R Dutton
They journey midst the stars or so one might think
They come and go by way of the roof like energy,
Or so it might appear at times, wearing uniforms
But usually dressed casual and they ask for either
A pizza or a soda- maybe they want to make Promotional
Arrangements or perhaps they come for an important meeting
How do they really come? By transporter, in which case there’s
a ship orbiting over head? Convertible or other car? Or perhaps
walking? Maybe by bus but there aren’t any that run on Sundays-
Perhaps they stay close by overnight although that’s not likely so
that it had to be one of the other ways- you can only wonder and be
grateful that they are patrons
Next a person might wonder who they are-fictional characters right
from the movie screen or respectable people with various life styles
and names who play a game whether it’s tame or to avoid the television
at football time-whichever of the above they happen to be if any they are
Star Trek fans even as they seemingly glimmer around
Oh ! to touch that light that fanned across your eyes
the moment I began to pray.
Like a thousand wings of eagles flapping in the wind
my heart soared to places I had never been before.
Oh ! to be that sun that spread across my landscape
reviving my emotions and offering vitality.
Like a million butterflies flying on ephemeral beauty
my soul moves through the air,
knowing their is nothing there, beyond compare.
Oh ! to love with airborne arms & finally reach the sky
embracing every hour, with utter Grace
Like a million dollars washed away in rain I'd hold no value
except those diamond thoughts ,
that like thine own refrain, would say to me,
"Oh ! to touch that light that fans across your eyes right now !"
Ariana Grande had many teenage fans
girls went to her concerts, in different lands
Then a bomb went off in Manchester killed 22
Revenge, ideology, a toxic stew
Girls liked to sing along with Taylor Swift
But in the alienated mind there was a rift
He stabbed little girls at a Swiftie themed class
Three of them died, there's a question we could ask.
What kind of hate, what kind of payback
leads to this kind of horror, indiscriminate attack
Why do they zoom in on those we should protect
What society would they build, after ours they wrecked.
Taylor was planning a concert in an Austrian venue
But religious maniacs knew what to do
With explosives and knives, they'd kill the crowd
The more thousands of dead, the more they'd be proud.
Your religion, your revenge, your deadly schemes
Let girls be girls, let teens be teens
There's no harm in a good sing along
Killing one innocent is always wrong
Regard " Those Good Old Days?'
Bring smiles in own ways,
Writing a book, Any Excuse,
Need my GSOH a'loose.
Went to football in past stage,
Good book, turn each page,
"The umpire's a cheat!"
"Yep, our goals incomplete!"
"Game plan's still the same!"
"Yes, our coach is to blame!"
"Let's go home!"
"Yeah, home we'll roam!"
"Leaving already?" Crowd roar,
"Spit the dummy, game's a bore!"
"See you next week!"
"At next game we'll peek,
Smiling now, I hit the sack,
Ignore football, top lifehack,
Well, that was a long book,
"Those Good Old Days, worth a sook!

I — I love You, Lord of Accord
I — Imagine illuminating illusions and allusions of appreciation
I — Ideas flood my brain of beautiful benevolence and brilliant blessings
Tension-whelmed and…yet…
Tormented by uncalm spirits in the realm of resurrections unknown to me…I’m of the Spirit, not man alone
Tranquility matters to me and I’m all on my own…humans are unreliable and always changing, yet God never changes…He’s incredible and dependent on our peace-making skills and talents of plenty
Hope I have faith too no doubt! Walk His narrow route…
How about a handshake of gentility? What about you free me from my captivity? Sin has enslaved me inwardly
Handsome hurts…
Swifties Unite!
Mimi, Taylor's most insta-swifty, totally meowed
As she grabs some me time, she'll vote she vowed
I really must flush and shoo
Me lady needs the loo
Swifty Cat ladies unite! We’re smart, brave and proud!
Alas ‘tis the fate of plucky Jan
To write her poetry while on the can
Her pen’s been known to scoop
A sprinkling of poop
And gleefully to let it hit the fan
Don’t like what I write
But keep reading what I write
That makes you a fan
Tusi zafar day tattay chukan walay fan ho,
Mein zafar day tattay chupan wala fan hun.

For My Pickleball Fans
Lost all of my luck
Behind net pickleball stuck
My game ran amok
you should see his serve
seems to have much swerve and curve
while with vibe and verve
hard to understand
in wrong court my ball would land
which was full of sand
always would mumble
while playing had been humble
fell after I did stumble
need someone to teach
play pickleball on the beach
with bad words would preach
my ball had much speed
was with anxiety and greed
when I took the lead
what he said with a grin
had cackled just like a hen
would be sure to win
you need a teacher
served like profound preacher
was a rare real screecher
would play in schoolyard
where the surface had hard
also scared and marred

There once came a grey haired old man.
Or am I mistaken was it rather a ma'am?
Nevertheless he big brought gifts
And climbed big cliffs
To deliver them to his little fans.
Twenty-Seven Club--not open to all,
nor is joining top of most people's list.
A club of sadness and shock midst the pall
of last birthdays--twenty-eighth was just missed.
Many well-knowns have passed at that young age,
to a better place, fans and music gone.
Rock stars overdose, leave a darkened stage
fans lay sweet bouquets, and then they move on.
Many don't look forward to twenty-six,
so fearful it might be their farewell year.
Feeling doomed to join Joplin and Hendrix,
yet still infuse the drugs they hold most dear.
This presents a huge conundrum to those
who want to keep their cake and eat it, too.
Can we feel sorrow when it's they who chose
a life expecting they'll pay club dues soon.

Fans eating the air
And spitting
The remainings on us!
Every morning and afternoon
the birds come to my rescue
either I'm a fan of them
or they're fans of me
