Keep my eyes on you

My greatest memory
It's shared by many
So such to say
Still I proclaim
Let's say I bought it
I don't wanna be taughted
Oh in loves name
Should I proclaim
Tell me should I proclaim as I'm

Learn your language
You change the reason
In every season I look to do
What's the purpose
Do I deserve this
What's ah man
What's a man to do

Get it right
You change the question
What's it's all about
What am I to do
Say it's right
You change the meaning
You' change the season
If it was up to you

Keep my eye on you
Can't trust a feeling
Your crooked dealings
Tell me it ain't true
What's the measure
Keeping us together
What is love
What's a man to do

I See Fire

Poem written on 14th September, 2025 for "Variation Of Dramatic Or Light Verse" Poetry Contest sponsored by Nette Onclaud
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A fire sparkles in your eyes,
its sparks shine on me.
Let it energize my life,
my soul needs its warmth.
Drown me in caring desire,
to crave only you.
Whatever the consequence,
trust in my credence.
Premium MemberKeeping Love Alive
"Though all have endless love within, many feel they have none until external love shows as fantasies contend." ~~ Poet
I thought I knew love’s emotional pallet,
     then you gathered me in passions ballad
          and my sureness tossed in kinetic transport.
In your embrace, all I knew became unglued.
Such an amazing, glorious sensation
     increased its revelation because your known
          was equally thrown, richly altered just as my own.
Times like now, our desires seek declaration
     from our mutual flames celebration
          of romantic love we both hold as a blessing.
You say our love is so tenderly strong, it is truly poetic.
Tonight, as your lips tantalize mine until intoxicated,
     the entire world fades away unrealized ~
          only we exist inside a shared bliss that enthralls.
Again, and once more, I always seek your lips for kisses
I adore while wishing all were reality, not my fantasies
creating a sedating escape from the unrequited
love I am always bleeding.  It is silent kisses
and all my other pretendings that keep
what never started from
ever ending.
Green Eyes
Green Eyes
 It’s been a long time since I've seen ya.
 Too many years have passed by you know.
 How is life treating you these days?
 Hopefully things turned out to be great.
 Does it matter how far apart we are in age?
 A new chapter in your life, just turn the page.
 We both have green eyes.
 We could go to the gym and exercise.
 Being single for a while is fine with me.
 Going out to meet new people is what we both need.
 It's awesome that you live out in the country.
 Next to the water feel free under the sky.
 You have an outgoing personality.
 Who knows where this will go, you and me.
 Am I asking for too much?
 I know the age gap is in the way. I’m just being honest.
 I’m glad I had a chance to say hi.
 You recognized me and you were never shy.
 Weare grateful to have our own place.
 Maybe we could go out sometime and watch a movie late.
 Hopefully you will find the one that you're looking for.
 Maybe one day, I will be at your door.
 It has been so long to write a new poem.
 We could walk hand in hand under a bright moon.
Premium MemberLook Into My Eyes
Look into my eyes my love
Tell me what you see
Desire? Passion? Wanting more?
I certainly agree
If you could go inside my head
You'd know just what I think
Then when I looked into your eyes
You'd guide, I wouldn't blink
Premium MemberLover’s Eyes
Clasped like babe on breast to suck
As ancient forces blind
Cleave white and shadow one,
That force of love to bind.
Palm to lover’s palm conjoined,
Those partnered dancing hands
Fingers waltz in tandem drifts
And leap across the land.
Behold this gift from heaven
With oaken pools for eyes
Sunk deep into the forest
Drip honey from his hives.
Oh drown me in that syrup
That comes from oaken pools
Salty sweet my sweetheart’s tears
I lap like waters cool.
Affections drift like rainclouds
Across a fickle sky
But lover’s vows steadfast hold
Through flood and parched land dry.
Ashes
The cafe burnt alive as soon as you
Set your patent leather boot inside
And walked right into this unknown,
Mysterious yet familiar world
Of witty writers and pious poets
With their poetic pens.
My tantalizing timid eyes
Met your musically amused eyes,
And I heard a symphony unsung,
Strange, how can you be just a stranger,
When your eyes can speak so much danger,
Then how much your heart would want to say, stranger.
Strangers don't sing symphonies,
Nor do they linger nostalgically
Like a locket on an ashen neck.
They don't even say hello,
And there I sat with my cold heart,
Wondering like a bashful bard,
What were the chances,
Those burning glances,
And you left aloofly
With your latte
Leaving the ashes behind.
Soot everywhere,
Here and there,
On my lips where
Your eyes lingered,
On my fingertips,
Wanting to write
The desires of the
Waltzing, woozy heart.
Premium MemberYour Blue Eyes are My Blue Skies
From the moment I first saw you
Something in me changed
And then when I first heard you sing
My heart was rearranged
I'd heard the voice of beauty
If such could be described
Unprepared and unexpected
My senses came alive
Though I tried hard to ignore them
They always had this knack
The more that I resisted
The stronger they came back
Quite frankly though, I liked it
Excitement reigned anew
And ever since that moment
My sky's always been blue
Eyes
Bright orbs that shimmer, secrets yet untold,
They pierce the dark and trace the fading light.
Through love and loss, their silent stories hold,
A world within each gaze—so soft, so bright.
They search the hearts once open, now concealed,
Reflecting dreams that linger, lost in fire.
Some truths they guard, while others are revealed,
Mirrors of passion, sorrow, and desire.
They cast their scorn with but a fleeting glance,
Or close in rest when weary shadows call.
They wake when hope and dreams again advance,
And greet the dawn with wisdom standing tall.
Through time they bow to truth, no lies remain,
For eyes alone see love’s sweet joy and pain.
Your Eyes Move Me
Your Eyes Move Me
 Touch a smile.
 With you for the long mile.
 Humble in your path.
 Walk hand in hand.
 White as Ivory. (Cloths)
 Your eyes move me.
 You said yes, no matter how hard my life has been.
 You have my undivided attention.
 Never take you for granted.
 You’ve looked past my imperfections
Almond Eyes
"Almond Eyes"
She moves like the ocean at twilight’s call
Golden curls where sunbeams fall
Almond eyes with fire inside
A depth where quiet dreams reside
With her, the world begins to bend
No start, no finish, no need to mend
The stars align, the path unfolds
A story written long untold
We mix the sky, we shape the tide
With just a glance, the winds abide
No force, no weight, yet all feels right
Like daybreak melting into night
She is my fire, my whispered spell
A love too rare for time to tell
With every movement, with every word,
She is the song that’s always heard.
Lev
Note*
A poetic reflection on a love that flows with harmony, where every glance and movement creates an unspoken connection. Inspired by the depth of her almond eyes, the poem captures the guiding power of her gaze and the perfect synchronicity between them.
Your eyes
The deep ocean eyes,
I know have some secrets inside..
Looks like something nice.
A bunch of memories with love and joy.
I'll tell you ten thousand reasons that you have never known,
I am falling for your eyes.
Drunken with beauty and unreadable lies.
The eyes that have a unique glint when searching for me looks so bright.
Premium MemberEyes Shut Open
I want to hold you in my arms tonight
And fall asleep...
Turn off the light
Before you do though let's do this
Let's get real close
And share a kiss
It may last long, it might get late
Who cares?
I wouldn't hesitate
To kiss you while the light still glows
I wouldn't know
My eyes are closed
Her Eyes
Her eyes looking deep through darkness past
Beyond the curtain of  sorrow's cast,
The pain of wounds sharply cut,
Sees the life and gave hope to a soul stuck
A man lost in dispair,
and shrouded in failures smoke
Chocked, gasping for breath,
Taking the last kick of a dying horse.
