Extremity Poems

how it came about

How it came about

It is impossible to imagine an endless Room
and no planets, and that one of them had
the possibility of life, planet Earth
A friendly planet not given to extremity, it
also had a temperate climate, sometimes it
could have been millions of years later, but
Since time didn't exist, that is academic
Green plants grew in soft soil, our planet
was that green fruit in the trees a livable place
without animal life, an abiogenetic period
That gave the beginning of what we call life
Finally, the emergence of the humanoid
that had a thinking brain that could solve
the problems of daily life and hunting
It is worth noticing that a creator was absent
But that and its many wars it caused were
endless war between races and their odd
faiths, based on an abstract Paradise
Not seeing our Paradise is also our planet

Truth of Life

Some people assume and say
they bring nothing on their birth
and take nothing on their way
when they leave this earth

But I strongly oppose
as I observed with perception
it isn’t odd as you suppose
and will accept without objection

The soul brings its body
to live as something in this world
either man or a lady
or an animal or a bird

At one day or so
it reaches its extremity
none can say no
to the wishes of Almighty

From this world of worries
where dooms cannot be stopped
soul from here usually carries
two sacks that can’t be dropped

Good deeds in one sack
and sin in the other
they carry on their back
to the place where all gather

The judgement is given
based on the two sacks
it goes to hell or heaven
from where it again comes back

Thus for sure I say
A soul brings a body on its birth
and takes its deeds on its way
when it leaves the earth

Premium MemberAge of Aquarius

Time was when in a golden age begun
a boy was I and a vision was she,
and at the heart of her constellation
gazed I upon its infinite beauty.
I vowed the ends of the earth to follow
your heavenly star wherever it led,
and to sit beside your desk in your glow
but sat my old nemesis in my stead.
Bows in your hair and stardust in your eyes
rushed my pulse to farthest extremity,
but when the end Age of Innocence dies
all is lost but the nothingness in me.
Now I feel my pulse and racing heart slowed
since I followed you home down Valley Road.

In youth, vacations lent my Summers wings
and Christmas gilded wintertime in gold.
I've aged (a bit) and love my Falls and Springs
for landing in between too hot or cold.
In time, I've learned it doesn't pay to be
too up or down, too rich or poor, too round
or thin. Avoiding each extremity,
I balance life by seeking middle ground.
I used to have my weight control down pat,
then physical exertion simply froze.
I'm somewhere south of fit and north of fat;
my muscles shrink yet still my middle grows.
As seasons come and go, I grow more sage;
I know the meaning now of "middle" age.

The Broken Bond

The sea of vacillation
The intense aura of gloom
The acute fever of desolation
The gaudy flowers that didn't bloom

The essence of emotions piercing my heart
My transmogrification into a vehement twee
The broken bond that l could not restart
The enormous contention between you and me

The promotion of my idiosyncratic thoughts
The extremity of unrequited feeling
The profound fight that we fought
The severe wounds that is still healing

The utter silence of zephyr traversing my mind
The perfervid longing for a meet
The attachment that l could not find
The eternal chemistry that Noone can beat

The waves kept on struggling to reach the shore
The dreams that we stitched together
The splintered heart of mine could not roar
In fine The fragments we failed to gather ..

The Apocalypse

The ocean of vacillation..
The intense aura of gloom...
The essence of emotion piercing my heart...
The extremity of unrequited love...
The promotion of my quintessential idiosyncrasies ...
The utter silence of zephyr traversing my heart ..
My transmogrification into a vehement twee..
This is the end of the world surrounding you and me...

Desmond Tutu strove hard to battle desultory extremity?
Humanity's hurdle is to sustain and esteem diversity.

One day, He saw a "Whites Only" sign on the exterior bath gate.
Said, "What is the difference between white and black pee fate?"

Premium MemberMy Affinity

I shall live the rest of my life in serenity
With beautiful thoughts filling my mind,
A desire to love and be loved is my affinity.

Some may say this lofty goal an extremity
No doubt, some will bitter criticism find,
I shall live the rest of my life in serenity.

I have never sought the fame of celebrity
And, I have no jealousy of that kind,
A desire to love and be loved is my affinity.

I have found nothing surpasses integrity,
While fostering those filial ties that bind
I shall live the rest of my life in serenity.

Life, I find, comes with a prized amenity
When to live the noble life, one is resigned
A desire to love and be loved is my affinity.

Anything less would be a rank obscenity
Present and hereafter could not be aligned,
I shall live the rest of my life in serenity
A desire to love and be loved is my affinity.

A Tribute To Soldiers

Lofty glory be to the soldiers
Who committedly protect the land -
It's people and the line of culture ,
Of the time-run ,running and future ,
Woods, rivers, fields and stretch of sand;
The sure and unique armed purgers
Of all evils and wanton attacks filthy ,
Besides averting all entrance stealthy .

Like a feeble child safe and sure
Of its parent in close proximity,
The nation's wholesome entity prime
Has a  secure  and complacent  clime ;
Like immunity guarding until extremity,
You defend, and  do  calamities   endure ;
Steady then be your task intrepid...
Success be ever at your brave bid .

Armoured with courage and confidence ,
In blizzard ,showers or landslides any
Rescuing  victims, selflessly run the risk ;
With infinite vigour do always feats brisk -
Save ,set ,move and such a great many ,
Truly is manifest ,reliance  and  defence ;
Words fall short and render feelings mute
Hence : a formal , alert honour-salute..!

Clouds Dark

Sky murky
A biting wind blows furiously
Swirling about ghostly
Whistling against the extremity
As dark clouds show
With drifts through
Begin to form anew
Ensuing cloudburst view

Augenblick
By David J Walker

The edge the border
     The verge	the skirt
The last words heard before
	The brink
The perimeter	the periphery
The point the bound
          A wink

All found before the final line
That, if crossed
	All is lost

In the circumference of extremity on
The brink of death as the
Augenblick of the final step
Into what waits beyond

The threshold the precipice
The outer limit brim

Too often
I find myself standing
           too near
To the partition of the purlieus
and fear the loss of footing
before the zenith leads
 to the nadir

And I am left in the position
Of a historian with
Nothing more to fear

FLOWING THOUGHTS

When love flows free,
In abundance,
And you feel all the earths
Chains have been released,
The time has come
For exultation!

Rejoice now,
For tomorrow may be
Too late, and as beautiful,
As love may seem,
Cruelly it is beaten to death
By its own master, Man.

Within you, lives
The secret,
And the knowledge
Is painful,
The need for sharing,
Reaches an extremity!

Adversity

Adversity, no easy city.
The scorching sun envelops its vicinity,
penetrating its rich diversity.
Adversaries make up the city,
ruined by misery, ruled by insanity.
Its citizens are pulled to vanity
and has from antiquity dwelled in iniquity.

Adversity, a learning city,
The Son of Man did sojourn in its university
to read suffering in its intensity and extremity
and obtain obedience in its totality.
Adversity, mankind in its diversity
enroll in your university
to learn humility and forge integrity.

Adversity, no continuing city.
All who dwell therein long to leave the city,
never to return. They long for a better city,
an heavenly, wherein dwell no iniquity,
no misery, no insanity, no enmity.
They long for the city to dwell in infinity
away from adversity.

Premium MemberHumanity- -

Humanity - tormentor of my dreams
I discovered the people diverse the scream
Limitlessness - limitlessness - limitlessness!
My ephemerality I could not awaken limitlessness
Take thy transcendence from out my heart aching
I crave the human, humane humanness breaking
And the universality never transcending, man's pretending

I crave the dialectic, divine deliverance
I threw my otherness upon the floor with indifference
And the consumers never differentiating
It was hardcore, more so, galore while contemplating
While I pondered, totalitarian and your humanity
Suddenly, I heard some labeling
Only this and a totalitarianism

That moment my soul grew cultist
I discovered the members unlisted
I threw my civilization upon the floor
Do you like embers, men ignore
The annexationist brought such sorrow
I crave the mystic, monarchical democracy borrowed
That fundamentalist, fundamentalist civilizing

Much I marveled this inclusive individualization
And so I screamed, 'Is that a extremity?'
That druid, druidic colonizing
And the civilizations never democratizing
Still is fraternizing, still is extremity fraternizing humanity
