A Mystical Life

Life is a mystical muse inspiring
never ending creation
Creating gives life to ideas that lay
dormant in the mind
When this is done we open doors that
can never be closed
The mind is like a beautiful budding rose
ready to bloom
Like a mansion with many rooms there's
plenty of room for its clothes
Expansion leads to expeditions within self
that offer growth
To expedite this process you'll need to
grow & open up
Bloom like the flower you are to journey
on despite the thorns
& bumps in the road
Planting seeds that you wish to see
come to fruition
is the only way to grow
This is a great way to go though
it's a path
less traveled
The road to self-realization
is one that's
walked alone
In your own zone is where you'll
find the knowledge
that you seek
You're an open book & every time
you open your
eyes you take a peek
You are the question & answer so
to speak
but you must
know what to ask
This life is the best of all teachers
& you're in
a never ending class

Natures call struck

In the cold abyss,
we beseech that we
may not wither in and
from our purchase.

Even though we do not
expedite ourselves and
flow in life's narrow progression.
There's no certainty to existence.

just when you come out of that
penurious life, residing up to the
dreams, unnatural nature whispers
your end in an ending echo,

leaving those we cherish in
despair and hurt of a loss.
It makes me wonder,
why then Do we even try?

When a creative dies,
some colours of nature fade.
Live on Wild!

Pententic

"PENTENTIC"

Have you noticed the pen dances to the right,
moving stiltedly and smoothly when it glides?
Sequel to this action, creativity & realism I expedite,
the white smooth sheet is reed of every spite
when it gets inked with punchlines in my pen's might.
To write is my rite and a poet's right to be a wright.

What my pen does is usually against the odds.
Can you write a poem using only 10 words?
Yes, I can with lil' sprinkle of dexterity like nerds:

"Ten words, with lil' twirls, still can't tell what 'twas."

Cider Time

CIDER TIME

Just like the leaves, apples eventually fall
An early hint of October’s natural bounty
The time to be making more cider is now
On misty mornings, picked from the bough
Recognised as due, throughout the county
A sharp taste not sweet, preferably small

Washed and sorted, chopped and crushed
The juice is strained, then left to ferment
But a little sugar and yeast may expedite
With years of experience, one does it right
Then a week or so until the bottling event
But it takes its own time, best never rushed

A popular drink ever since the dark ages
Especially in climates that are temperate
It’s a simple route to drinking satisfaction
That every time, secures a good reaction
And requires a good sleep to recuperate
Nectar of the Gods, as said by the sages

Premium MemberPoetry In Motion Contest Cricket

April and the clocks forward spring,
our cricket practice gets in full swing.
Nets to untangle from their poles,
players to call and enrol.

Gang mowers to grease and oil,
the team kit-bag to disembroil.
Green stained pads to whiten bright,
fixture lists to expedite.

Mend the sight screen's rickety panels,
coax another season from my flannels.
Wash and iron the umpire's coats,
the score-box to creosote.

Tea urns to scour, crockery to rinse and clean..
a team captain's tasks routine,and unseen.
Cricketers good,indifferent,unsung,
across this land in a timeless sport played for fun.

Premium MemberShips Sail

Down where magnolia blossoms white

Summer breezes touch wind chime's scales

Lovers sleep soundly in the night

                     Time flies, ships sail

On a downhill slide that can't contrail

Life lived mostly in fight or flight

So nice to enjoy a summer's tale

Close to the creek the breeze delights

Dream dreams, and fantasy build then exhale

Expedite change from pyrite to gold bright

                       Time flies, ships sail

Premium MemberGod and We Are One

Hesitant, we falter at the altar
We would if we could, expedite ascent
Soul prisoner and ego the captor

Incessant thoughts anchor us in banter
Self-blocking thus, our soul luminescent
Hesitant, we falter at the altar

There is no one here, save self singular
Yet our lower mind bisects and fragments
Soul prisoner and ego the captor

We are not mind-body caricature
Truth known if we invite the bliss current
Hesitant, we falter at the altar

There is no way, save childlike surrender
Whereupon ego becomes decadent
Soul prisoner and ego the captor

We are always one with the Creator
God is within, not horizon distant
Hesitant, we falter at the altar
Soul prisoner and ego the captor

Skeptic piranha parasites leeches onto my spirit
Amongst the grim reaper I shall not go near it
Not rebuking the sins and shame of my wrong choices
I expedite my decisions change the course of my vision
I calmly use the inner voice
Nonchalant dismay
Demons come distraught and play
In adversity in turmoil yet I pray
Rebuking the sins and the shames of my wrong choices
I cater to the quiet holy voices

Ever-Buck-Passing Websites

You press the keys time and again
And errors bog you with flat disdain
In vain you try and rack your brain
To figure what has derailed the train

The website is but a tangled web
That sinks your spirits to a new ebb
Supposedly a tool to expedite work
Actually a means to shut your neb

On its homepage, the motto to dangle
Must be YOUR NEEVES WE JAR AND JANGLE
AS EXPLETIVES POUR OUT OF YOUR MOUTH
YOUR PEACE OF MIND WE LOVE TO MANGLE

What is Late?
Written: by Miracle Man
11-20-2019

I have a real problem,
that’s keeping me in a lather.
My awake time is spent,
listening to cat blather.

I’m forced to expedite,
everywhere that we go.
Because the woman I married,
 is some kind of slow.

I like early arrivals,
but we’re invariably late.
Just can’t seem to get her,
from the starting gate.

To me it seems simple,
if always late, leave sooner.
Quit forcing me,
to be a “please hurry” crooner.

For Doctor appointments,
I arrive unduly stressed.
Even to church on Sunday,
for time we’re pressed.

Those times when I’m upset,
Perhaps like the mad hatter.
I keep telling myself,
if you don’t mind, it won’t matter.

She says she’ll try harder,
but she remains unchanged.
I know she must think,
that I’m permanently deranged.

So I’ve come to accept,
that it will always be her manner.
But always being late,
makes things hard for the planner.

But I still love my Sweetie!

Wordsmith
dour, drab embellished
don't recite read out loud
stop for a pause never stop writing
be difficult, obscure be clear express self
ignore other poets read many good poems
procrastinate, delay expedite, keep on track
wait till words come search for words till done
writing is a task, adopted writing is a pleasure, a calling
never be intimidated by editors believe in yourself and your abilities
write when you have opportunity write to a schedule in planned sessions
