God and We Are One

Hesitant, we falter at the altar We would if we could, expedite ascent Soul prisoner and ego the captor Incessant thoughts anchor us in banter Self-blocking thus, our soul luminescent Hesitant, we falter at the altar There is no one here, save self singular Yet our lower mind bisects and fragments Soul prisoner and ego the captor We are not mind-body caricature Truth known if we invite the bliss current Hesitant, we falter at the altar There is no way, save childlike surrender Whereupon ego becomes decadent Soul prisoner and ego the captor We are always one with the Creator God is within, not horizon distant Hesitant, we falter at the altar Soul prisoner and ego the captor 27-June-2021
