Bringing Autumn (Trijan Refrain)

Come dance with me, my winged escape
and skip the skies in flight
we’ll let the wind lick at our nape
and subtle touch invite.
Our cares we’ll toss to milky moon
and resonate our silky tune-
       our cares we’ll toss
         our cares we’ll toss
in freedom’s name our love commune.

Come float with me, my winged escape
on billowed waves of blue
we’ll lift the night mist’s heavy drape
and sail on moonbeams through.
This golden eve will whisper dreams
on silver sheets where all it seems-
       this golden eve
         this golden eve
cascades our love down rushing streams.

Come bloom with me my winged escape
in midnight’s breathless hour
my petals spread ‘neath stardust cape
to nature’s heady power.
We’ll give ourselves to Spring’s last rites
awaken sleeping appetites
     we’ll give ourselves
       we’ll give ourselves
and Autumn’s zenith expedite.

The Waiting Game

THE WAITING GAME

I'm playing the waiting game,
not futilely nor waiting in vain.
My delivery, my parcel my expectation;
forces me to ambulation.

I want it now,
my elixir my kisser;
sit and lull for the lister;
who swore to me a delivery vow.

For what do I wait,
as the hours grow late?
And why won't it come now!
Anticipation sloths, it insists I allow,
as time cannot expedite it's rate,
Heavens! give it to me now!

When the bloody hell will it be,
is some great force slowing delivery?
I must have it.
I cannot wait one bit.
Wait! I make no demand; we did agree.
My tactic is only made idly,
and can wait out eternity.

Ooohhhhh when I have it in hand!
Patience called into my spirit land.
I am closer, I count clock's tick's;
Calm. Tools down.
For it will come around,
as it was assured by honor bound.
Can you relate to this, my expound?
Then I can be more comfortably sound.

The duration of stagnation calls for liberation
with such I am spared ruination
I've gone through elation and vexation and frustration,
Yet yes, I will have my placation.
This trial and tribulation is vocation of sedation and stagnation.
An empty marathon that knows not capitulation.
I will have my unification.
My determination matches my frustration across the duration.
In the end I sidestep ruination and have my elation.

Premium Member Ships Sail

Down where magnolia blossoms white

Summer breezes touch wind chime's scales

Lovers sleep soundly in the night

                     Time flies, ships sail

On a downhill slide that can't contrail

Life lived mostly in fight or flight

So nice to enjoy a summer's tale

Close to the creek the breeze delights

Dream dreams, and fantasy build then exhale

Expedite change from pyrite to gold bright

                       Time flies, ships sail

Premium Member Wicked Mischief

Stealthily and with no invitation,
Wicked Mischief rides into my night,
dismounts and strides inside. How impolite!
For rudely she intrudes - this aberration,
bearing that unholy “deprivation”
strongly brewed with venom of her spite,
and if I can, I’ll try to expedite
her speedy flight; thus my liberation.
My desperation’s growing all the while.
Can I fight her power? Can I flee
her whisperings unceasing that so rile
me? Oh, precious seconds gone! I see
light of day. Sweet sleep she did defile.
Insomnia has wrought fait accompli.

Let Us Play Holi Holi

Let us play holi holi.....
With the color of saffron,
to inject stimulant
into the vein of every Indian,
to raise voice against monopoly,
to trigger rifle against terrorists,
to fight against corruption
and to pen against
Mudslinging, violence and sedition.
After all,
Forgetting everything....
We should focus our approach
for the integrity of our nation.....(1)

Let us play holi holi
With the color of white,
to spread the message of peace
among every Indian,
to enhance brotherhood,
to excel patriotism.
to augment love & affection,
and to kill
selfishness, intolerance and discrimination.
After all,
forgetting everything....
We should focus our approach
for the purity of our nation.

Let us play holi holi
With the color of green,
to expedite growth of farmers
across the country,
to increase production,
to improve education,
to minimize ailment,
and to end
poverty, unemployment and stagnation.
After all,
forgetting everything.......
We should focus our approach
for the growth of our nation.
--------------------------------------
Note: Holi is one of the sacred festival of India. It is a festival of colors. Here I invite all of you to play holi with tricolors of our national flag i.e. saffron, white and green.

Premium Member Unredacted

The months, the years, the colors fade to gray
And expedite the truth our minds betray.
The changes feel so close, yet far away,
In languid, ebbing scents of yesterday.

The sum of all we are and hoped to be
Would circle lines within a living tree.
To cycle through the seasons' set decree,
Then fall, obeying laws of gravity.

We reach to scoop and grasp the sparkled sand
And watch it slip so quickly from our hand.
Each grain remains defiant to demand,
Yet knows the spot precisely where it lands.

A truth exists our thoughts cannot define.
More stars will form than all the sand combined.
Our lives were never sketches we designed,
An unredacted touch by one divine.

Premium Member Impatience!

Mr. Webster defines "impatience" as a dislike for anything causin' delay.
Alas, my paucity of patience I am reminded of each and every day!
'Tis a subject upon which the Lord and I are in constant consultation.
Lord, help me in my quest for more patience is my earnest supplication!

On Sunday morns I squirm in my pew listenin' to the preacher pontificate.
His interminable oration goes on and on - for my football game I'll be late!
Again that very afternoon I lose all patience with my favorite football team!
Their fumblin', stumblin', bumblin' play just makes me want to scream!

I have little patience with slow movin' traffic causin' me to lay upon the horn!
Others extend a finger in response! (As I understand it, that's a sign of scorn)!
I impatiently wait for the leaves to blossom on my trees around the first of May.
In the autumn season, my patience is taxed rakin' those infernal leaves away!

I lose patience with the government always intrudin' in my life,
With their inane and meddlesome schemes that are so very rife!
I'm impatient with folks who babble on and on when a word or two will do,
Or retellin' a story I've heard a dozen times - 'tis a classic case of deja vu!

Forgive me Lord when at times I even become impatient with Thee.
If impatience is a sin, Lord I pray that You'll show mercy unto me!
Help me in my quest to be more patient is my earnest supplication,
But won't You please expedite Thy accomodation is my exhortation!

A Belated Cc Das Kapital Wicked Candle Box Event For Karl Marx

Born May 5, 1818, in Trier Germany
     to Heinrich and Henrietta Marx,
sans the third of nine children
     (and second oldest heir)

Karl Marx thinking begot incendiary sparks,
asper his two most controversial publications
     titled The Communist Manifesto,
     and Das Kapital

which political philosophy
incubating seeds of self destruction didst birth
doctrines of class struggle,
     historical materialism, dearth

of equitable wealth, and inherent
     contradictions of industrial capital
     distributed unevenly
     across avast swath of Earth

thus inviting his perspective
     (conveniently exploited,
     mined, and usurped) advocating
     the working class (proletariat)

     to expedite organized revolutionary action
to topple capitalism and bring about
     socio-economic emancipation,
where wages of sin exchanged for labor bled

fingers to the bone life source, viz proletariat
till slaving laborer nearly became gratefully dead
despite being cased in 12 point
Times New Roman garb, who incessantly fed

insatiably maws of production,
(no way to get a supportive talking head)
particularly highlighted
     within schema of Capitalism),

     a predominant paradigm
     stratifying society led
to internal tensions engendered
     between bourgeoisie red

dilly controlling means
     of production codified as said
as die a critical approach Marx coined
     as historical materialism,

where figurative landmines forced one to tread
gingerly, thus above stated philosophy
would supposedly lead down the road
     where self destruction wrought marriage
birthing Socialism offspring from shot gun wed

     ding, thus coaxing eventual establishment
of classless communist society meant
to establish free association of producers who spent
exchanging merchandise amidst classless
campy population hood pitched a tent.

Shrank

Would you make my phone ring?

Would desire retake the wild that perspires as the legend is written yet the time goes unnaffected?

Babe the world gets no smaller,
I am the right caller,

no-one could say a thing
like the lights growing in stalling words,

we will gather for our area's that we expedite,

and will mighty-kite none-for-less when our strife scars at the right heights, tights, and whites, even fights!

We will always resign because more and more is what's needed,
every time!

Still Inhaling Love

I feel nothing to write to you
only that
The ink evaporated into turquoise
clouds
Tears surf now with dolphins - in disguise
I have nothing to send to you,
can't expedite my Soul ...
It's fragile
with greenhouses broken forever
Can still inhale love in my lungs
love from other souls , guiding me
protecting me in my coming back journey
from the Acid Rain of Lost Bodies' grin
I can see her silhouette peeking through the shutters
..worried, loving, so innocent ...
It's OK, Mom...I've learned to migrate
The eclipse in my heart bothers the Monarch butterflies
They are exhausted in the pursuit of migration
They have a place they need to be so badly...
I want to learn where they go, what they feel, where they need to fly..
I need to learn from butterflies where I should go now
when wings got slaughtered by Evil- in-disguise of handsome...

Dear Lord

Dear Lord

You make the darkness bright dear Lord
You chase away the night, dear Lord

With you I know that I can soar
Above the mountain’s height, dear Lord

I have no fear when you are there
My life you expedite,* dear Lord

You raise me up, you comfort me
You show me what is right, dear Lord

You are my strength and my succour
You’re with me in my plight dear Lord

My sins I beg that you’ll forgive,
When I stand in Thy sight dear Lord

*make easier

Superlative Lust

Who is she? Where is she? Hyper imaginative sensual being I envision her to be, my type, while I play out scenarios and encounters that lead from our bed to the alter where we exchange our vows of everlasting love. And if discovered that she has a husband, a boyfriend, a lover, well then we shall simply expedite the divorce, the breakup, the heartbreak. Too much? Too soon? Too crazy? Can love and its pursuit of fulfillment really be that unfamiliar with such measures? "I suppose we shall be the first my love" I say to her as I stare deeply at those delicious lips sweetly posed above the shoulder, eyes starring back at the world. When can we meet I wonder? Where shall we travel to? What shall we toast to? "Siempre viva live forever. We shall, together as one".
