Have You Ever Seen a Rabbit Wearing Glasses?

A rabbit's life, tragically upended
because of the company he befriended - 
where, once, happiness had brimmed,
he grew old, and his eyesight dimmed. 
His brain slowed down like molasses. 
'Twas then I saw him wearing glasses.
So, pitifully, he did implore, 
but the carrot said, "don't darken my door".
In the end, he took the dead man's walk,

Once upon a time long gone …
The reigning queen let out a yawn,
And stood up from her regal throne
To trample down the hall alone

She ripped the crown from out her hair
And flung it out the window there,
It tumbled down the castle wall …
No knight or king did hear it fall

And off the ground it did

   Hopes aspire

When We Shed Our Old Skin and Grow More Beautiful Than Ever

It clung like ivy, patient, green with hunger —
wrapped itself around every beam,
crept beneath shingles,
rooted in the cellar’s damp breath.

I mistook it for the house itself —
fed it rain, fed it dust,
let it climb my windows
and press its leaves to the glass
until I could no longer see daylight.

But rot loosens quietly.

Do you ever feel like u feel no love and the feeling won't go away,
Or do you feel like your depressed almost every single day,
Are there days u wake up but just can't get out of bed,
Is it cuz facing a new day probably is what you dread,

Does the Universe Retain All the Knowledge of Every Civilization That Ever Existed

In the black throat of space, words spiral,
Charred syllables drifting like moths to no flame.
Every book, every prayer, every curse
Finds its way into the bone-dust of stars.

I dream of archives stitched into the dark,
Veins of memory pulsing through nebulae—
All our hands, bloody or tender,
Catalogued in the frost of dead moons,
And liquid methane.

The universe hums like

Will I ever outgrow this?

What is this ridiculous obsession ~
perhaps a case of simple vanity?

There's so much more to life
than warped arrogant narcicism.

I'm obviously more than
these pesky extra pounds
around my waist and
few deep wrinkles on my face
yet still it manages to monopolize 
my moods and daily thoughts.

I seem to spend my time
reminding mirror and self,
much like repeating a mantra,
that

While the universe is ever-expanding
life on earth becomes even more demanding
despite a few one or two
world-shattering improvements
man is still wallowing
in the proverbial primordial
and if this road he insists on following
our future looks severely bleak
as where once we were happy winning
we're now all on a losing streak
yet history has taught him nothing
that and his memory is

EVER SINCE I MET YOU?

Nothing made sense before you
even the wind forgot how to whisper
and the stars blinked without purpose
as if waiting for your light to show them how.

like rain in a dry season
and my heart, once cracked and tired

I work each day in peaceful chaos,
A tireless race where I wear my fatigue like a badge of honour.
Sleep? A  stranger I rarely greet.
I chase knowledge like tomorrow won’t let me try again—
Straining past my limits, just to say “I’ve done my best.”

I push beyond what’s humanly possible,
Only to fall short of a dream
