Ever So Sorry Joanne My Big Sis

I am ever so sorry to you Joanne And I only can apologize for what I am hesitantly about to mention and say let alone speak these word's and express these thoughts out loud As you are coming over on holiday on this the 1st of June to visit both your mum and I But being as I am your brother and love you so I do not wish to lie For since we haven't seen one another in the flesh for over 2 long year's now I know and fear I will in fact disappoint you when you see me my ever-loving big sis As the time we have lost and spent apart To me has not been kind and you as I may find it hard to assimilate the person I am now and have sadly become And thought abounds me of you upon leaving wishing you had never taken your time to come at at Is keeping me awake way into the dead of night when I try and sleep I can and may just about be able to deal with the disappointment I feel within myself But seeing that very same disappointment reflected in your eyes I fear may well be something far to hard than even I can take and face And why I say I am ever so sorry Joanne

Extremely powerful writing Christopher, I only hope this is a sad poem, and not a true reflection on how you actually feel, all I can say is a kind loving family will see beyond the wretch, and look into the soul of the afflicted, hope you feel better by the time your sis visits, cheers David

Cheer's David thank you very much indeed Sir for replying much appreciated. Easy enough to write about something and share it with other's. Not so easy to tell them that requires real bravery as it leaves you naked and exposed with no place to hide once you put it out there. Thanks again my sincere kind regards

This is awkward Christopher, Put it this way if I was your sister and read this poem it would make me more determined to visit, your still Christopher Flaherty her brother, but if you personally think it’s going to make you feel worse or hurt her somehow, you definitely need to call her up asap, and let her know how life is at the moment, cheers David
