Premium Member wondering why I am out of ideas

I stare at the page where I have written one word
it is the word I usually start with when I am out of ideas
the word is jumping
it’s not complete
I stopped at jump

feeling stagnant, thinking this word over used and trite
why do I always start out with this word?
the incomplete word jump stares at me as JUM
I had not gotten any further
I try a new spot

If I am outside, maybe nature will inspire me
I watch my dogs run around barking furiously
they might sound ferocious to you, to me they are babies
nothing else comes out of my pen

I sit down and stare into the shadows of summer
wondering why I am out of ideas
maybe even out of words
something small and dark darts out of the woods

I follow it with my eyes as it makes a getaway under bushes
was that a cat? I have no idea, but it moved fast
I stare at the page, wondering if there is anything good enough to write.
Not yet.

Premium Member Quiet Space

Quiet space that calms the soul
will even out the rock and roll
It isn't so hard to find it
Take time, the candle will be lit
Seek out wherever it may be
Things you like, lure you to see
Quiet space heals in charming ways
No matter what brings stress in days
Slowing thoughts, a body at peace
Cherished moments lead to release
Powerful, as tension retreats
Seek, stop, listen, find your seats
Quiet space can bring renewal
It is yourself, you will bejewal

Beauty Of A Hidden World

You can row for many miles
Hopefully, live many years
Surely you will miss the secrets
The gods were always tricky and cruel
Hiding special things just out of reach
Or maybe even out of sight
But, if you take your time living
Looking around where you would never look
Seeing the magical world hidden from you
It is truly more beautiful than you could ever imagine

When nowadays everything is seemed cringe

When someone makes a mocking comment about your thing you put effort in,
It's much more dragging,
than looks or personalities.
I worked and did.
I sweat and cried.
But was also relieved, happy and amazed.
Every energie of mine, every focus, every motivation.
,,yours look very good!"
,,Ah, thank you"
,,No, her's doesn't look good. Our's better, we can talk much more openly when we present."
Is my writing bad? My sketch?
I know I can't sketch but I tried.
I thought you would criticize which is okay, but why did you have to say that?
Did I do too much? Is it unfair to others? Is it cringe?
And it comes from someone,
who I had a love was done.
But jelousy? I never felt gladly that kind of gun.
I would've never said even out of curiosity.
Because my past self,
would've never treated you that but rather touch
dust on the shelves.

Play List

A man tried to find his playlist
But had it wrapped around his wrist
He searched high and low
Even out in the snow
Realized it and boy he was pissed

The Reason For Living

The vast space in which the consciousness roams seeks to fill it with experience.
But every man struggles when difficulties arise and faith is lost. Yet we engage
this game! To explore the limits of time and space, and a life that ends in death! These lives of karmic design must have their reasons why. To fulfill destiny and to become the person you were meant to be. Life is an opera of joys and sorrows. We are to use the brain yet follow the heart. To let the balance even out, for the loss in the world is equal to the gain. All that is born upon this world of legend, have to figure out the mystery, of why we are here. The pyramids were built to last and with scratches on rocks, send the ardent message, that love is all that matters, and that it is...the reason for living!

Rise Again

Another day of living, with no high speed crash,
Focus on the future, and reflect on the past,
Live everyday in beauty, and let the sunshine in,
And thank the Lord above, for removing all the sin,
Support from our brothers, our family and our friends,
And pride for myself, for letting Christ step in,
Wear that badge of honor, and motivate the weak & shaky,
Giving thanks for resurrection, while enjoying this gravy,
Life left to live, not just topping for this supper,
The most real thing I've heard, the cross he hung to suffer,
To forgive our sinful ways, so we can love in peace,
What a wonderful day it is, knowing there is relief,
And a purpose for my life, in my heart and my future,
No matter how deep the wound, Christ always has a suture,
To stop a bleeding heart, and to even out the beat,
And Easter was the day, he rose back onto his feet!

New Beginnings

The leaves have fallen
The weather has turned cool
A fresh start for everything
Even me and you

Last season was hard
Full of desperation and despair
Loneliness
That made me question if you were even out there

It is scary
Not knowing what will or won't be
But as I stand next to you on this cool autumn night
I am grateful that I have you beside me

You help me forget the past
The dreadful winter I once had
When all I ever felt was alone
Being with you brings me peace
You feel like home

The leaves have fallen
The weather has turned cool
And as I look into your eyes tonight
I now know
It was always meant to be you

After I Leave

If I depart now
Never you forsake me
We come long, going short
Forget today it's past
Recall yesterday to see tomorrow

My time is precious always
Even out of your sight
Demise devours me and bones perish,
But your heart ceases not, knowing
So every single understands
Love exists to eternity.

Please after my life don't panic
Take my words from thy safe
Why in your memories I can't vanish?
Let my words stay eternally and vanquish
My presence shines through life
Not like the plant of wreath
Erected on the roof of my new house
Sharing same fate as I
You shall not fade in trust
See me decades later

As I Lie Awake Beside You
(with love to Barbara)
By Franklin Price

As I lie awake beside you
And I breathe each breath you take
I thank God that you're still with me
And of the memories we'll make

Of the times we've shared in life
That our love has brought us through
While looking forward to the future
And the things still left to do

We have always worked together
For “US” to rise above the fray
We've contended with all comers
As we're doing still today

We will bear the weight together
Through our love that never fails
Always reaching out and sharing
Always balancing the scales

Never think you are a bother
Through the hurdles left to tame
It's hardly ever fifty fifty
That's how we've always played the game

Our marriage has been give and take
Through our fifty years and more
If we could live forever
I'd never even out the score

Believe I'll always love you
I'm here for you for every fight
I look forward to our kisses
When we go to bed at night

Unite

There’s more beauty in this life than most of us can even see. From the smiles stretching miles through the deserts to the seas.
There’s too much pain among the people caused by those who hold control. The super wealthy, grim and stealthy, enslaving us to reach their goals.
There will come a time when they finally cross a line, then we rise for their demise, and take their heads for all their crimes.
Once we’ve won the war and finally even out the score, there’s more beauty in this life than we had ever known before.
Rise together, let’s be better, there’s a storm we need to weather. In the end, we’ll start again, with so much beauty to discover.
We will unite!

Banana Bread

I made some Banana Bread today.
The scent of the half-baked loaf wafter through this house –
And even out the windows to fill the neighborhood.
On this warm and sunny fall day –
The transitioning of war to chilly and
Change is working in every color of every leaf
In every vein and in ever tip
Just like those bananas changed.
And you know what is funny about bananas
Is
They give you every last chance to eat them
Each day their composition transitioning
Until one day
You go to eat that banana
And its too mushy and soft to eat – even though it’s at its sweetest
Then you realize there's three other bananas
Attached to the one you were going to eat
And somehow that banana becomes so much more than
One banana
Changing its color
Its scent
Its taste
Its essence
Until the scent is roaming the neighborhood
Flooding into other’s lives who have
Opened their windows today too
Why does anyone make banana bread -
I made some banana bread today.

Even Out

I sit and think of things
How they play out and what life brings
You can look at a person with everything
And think how they have luck with anything
But it takes just one chance spin
To change them looking in
So I think of burdens worn
Will even out for everyone when ripped or torn.

Lockdown

We supposed to be on lock down.
But it all turned in to a mock now.
People still doing there daily thing.
Some even out there having party drinking.
Why do we follow this reckless behavior?
I'm told it's just human nature.
No respect for the next person life
Causing the rest of the ppl strife.
You may not worry about your own
But I do so leave my life alone.
Please take note of all the warnings
Before you a statistic of covid 19.

Premium Member On the Plain In Ukraine

There's a country near Poland called Ukraine
All the people there are praying for rain
No, they don't have a drought
   And the sun's even out
It's early October ~ Snow's on the plain!
