of life
What value do I place on love
or the olive branch of a dove
What treasured blessings come thereof
from God above from God above
What esteem do I give to rain
the source of life it does sustain
nourishing fields of amber grain
in God's domain in God's domain
How cherished is the risen sun
warming Earth when day has begun
A light like God's begotten Son
The holy One The holy One
How treasured is a breath of air
The thought of death I cannot bear
I plead with impassioned prayer
And God is there And God is there
Priceless is life for I've been blessed
by God's spiritual behest
With belief in His Word expressed
My faith professed My faith professed
In life these truths are essential
and profoundly existential
for God has been influential

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

If I am so non-essential why is it essential that I pay taxes??

Stars are my guide,
Love is my guard,
Faith will take me home,
Hope is by my side.
A phantom virus, tentacles open free
with perpetual license to kill and kill.
Sentenced to death on lonely beds,
an imprisoned world standing still.
Fearful eyes over mask covered faces
plead to get back to the "normal" days.
All number graphs on TV news channels
are dearest names who've lost their gaze.
A wake -up call to sanitize your lives
how much is really "enough", you think?
Haven't we taken our lives for granted?
Nature's ecology, pushing to the brink.
Slow down humans, you're close to edge,
Let's create a new world of living together.
Essentials only, let's keep to ourselves.
or lose everything...one by one wither.

Contest Name Your Philosophy During This Pandemi
You stood tall
In the midst of
A crisis and you
Were the last face
That a dying person see
Not having to die alone
You were there as a comfort
Lonely hearts that fought
The good fight because
Of your kindness
And devotion
I believe in God’s power* midst lockdown
Since no disaster can shut His grace down.
In such state, I need foremost the Bible
Scriptures anchor my faith to be stable.
Medicines serve as great necessities
To combat blood pressure’s adversities.
Vitally important are documents
For social and financial engagements.
Hygiene kit plus sanitizer’s fullness
Shouts “Cleanliness is next to godliness.”
Money, though ephemeral, meets my needs
Securing welfare while the mouth it feeds.
Gadgets which become my helpful buddies
Must stay handy as essential goodies.
Grateful am I for each grace-packed food box
Supplies with the Lord’s blessing bounty-stocks.
Above all is earnest soul’s prayer might
Trusting Christ to uphold me in my plight.
Hope in the Saviour brings peace to my heart
Reviving spirit, braced by joy’s rampart.

Sponsored by Dear Heart; judged on 5/4/2020.
To love God is loving yourself and all that's created.
To understand God is to know what's fated.
God's creation is a mark of beauty
We are Gods creation who are called to duty
We are bound by God to serve
Some of us slide and sometimes swerve
God is loving and Kind
He even gave us a day to unwind
God gives us what we can handle
But we turn it into a scandal
God gives us the tools to learn
It is something that we can earn
"essentials"
each time with you my breath is taken away
such wonder to see ivory open and free
splendor journeys beyond grass reaching golden sands
essential are you to my true existence
never is there a time I question your being
tides flow from the shore touching my soul
I inhale inch by inch and mile by mile
ancient codes reveal mystery time after time
living among the world at sea
salt travels from your body of water to the body of me
SkyWatcher
for the ocean of course
water is almost free minimal taxes
drink celebrate and enjoy water your
cells will dance jump in glee
water is free like air minimal taxes
breathe long inhale hard hold and release
they can call whatever meditation praanayaama
doesnt matter just enjoy breathing aware
positivity is free like water and air not even taxed
use it or loose it be free float hope and trust
you will be liberated from the clutches of the cancer
“ESSENTIALS”
Cluttered contents exposed by an open cupboard door
Time once again the enemy—staring at the clock on the wall
Just two nights— in Paris- ‘luggage’ and ‘baggage’ to be kept small
Life becomes weighted with each passing day
Reflections on life—real ‘Essentials’ to pack on our way
SIMPLICITY—life is far too complicated-- new goals to be reached
Striving for social standing, wealth, bigger and better in being
Past failures, future gains—elusive happiness remains
Present moments, not projected perfection to be gained
PEACE—that comes from knowing—who we are and where we are going
Avoiding criticism, being judgemental of others
Peace grows from the heart, not the head
Tolerating ourselves and others instead
GRATITUDE—appreciating small things we learn awareness and discernment
Counting our blessings daily, we finally grasp our gratitude
Life becomes meaningful when lived for others
Self-importance and stress disappear- becoming soul lovers

Color in red and blue:
Not blue in purple—
Just the smell of red.
Prayer is the silence of the heart read alone by you
Faith is the patience of the soul that keeps love true
Truth is invisble to the eyes and found only in belief
Love is you in me, and myself given in all to others
Joy is knowing I served you well, kept nothing here
Hope is the longing for the journey and new life there.
Let me then imbibe your words, becoming what I know
Flesh has too many distractions when I long to go.
Autumn red orange
Tree leaves of unmatched colors
