I’m setting off past through the close
Towards the light of day
Move up and down, back and forth
Without a word to say
Call me abruptly just in time
I shall return as soon as
More clouds will enclose the sky
More silence heave the corners
And then you enter with a smile
The clock stroke twelve, and then..
What's happened then to

Enter the virgins

Enter the virgins we are,
My love does say to me,
He has a mask of intrigue,
As we bask in mild glow,
We're not frigid, I guess,
Love in the afternoon,
Languid, but molten,
Let go and let love,
He's gone again,
See you, perhaps,
Love you tomorrow at dawn,
Vestals somewhen......

The House I Never Enter

There is a room in you
with no name on the door—
I press my ear to it
and pretend
the hush inside is mine.

I have traced the woodgrain
like scripture,
named each knot
with the things you don’t say.
You let me stay
on the porch of your soul—
barefoot, breath held,
pretending the threshold
was a gift.

You are
a lighthouse turned inward,
a cathedral of withheld storms.
Everyone

enter heaven

when the time comes if God was to ask
to give a reason why i should enter heaven ?

father i do not deserve anything
i have made many mistakes
and my heart aches with deep regret
but there is one thing i will never forget
Jesus came to set us free
he gave his life so i can be reconsiled to

She Reigns

Tis not today which thee will fail, Harken! Harken! My harnessed veil.
Venom may sweep your gaze away. Travesty! Dare not to look my way.
O, no, but come now, lovers. Give my course gesture no bother.
Tis only, only grace bereaved, against thy spirits stripped. Bare of safety, many lips
split and garments torn from dead seas

write the most depressing mournful doleful macabre missive
make sure it is less than one hundred words

write something you would be embarrassed to write.
make sure it is less than one hundred and fifty words.

write a poem about something you did that you are ashamed to
tell anyone in less than two hundred words.

I am not in the

Premium MemberEnter Moon Gate

Once dreamy, butter-filled suncups,
Shining ‘neath the moonlight.
Past shadows shimmer on pond of
Evening Primrose midnight.

Spineless spirits, angel’s trumpets,
Kept as outliers, aloft.
Once shady blow - paired sleeping rocks
Covered with lamb’s ears, soft.

Dark and lightness ravish garden.
Sweet scent rediscovers
The sway of grass on little path;
Reprints of fresh lovers.

If only she’d whispered warning;
“Enter moon gate,” was said.
White creeping phlox

Premium MemberENTER

Through the mysterious
Open doors with no locks nor keys
Not a place
Not recognizable
Not an event
The Enter is too nowhere
Far out within
Once you Enter, there is no way out
You have arrived
Can’t get out
Can’t yell for help, the walls are enforced against sound
All you can do is move about
Mind wonders
Eyes wanders
Nowhere through never was
Stumbled on something you

I enter Your court by Suzan Satchell

I enter your court

I entered your court this morning with a heart of love.
I entered early because I know you're always on time.
As I sat in silence, I could hear your voice saying, Well done child, your obedience is appreciated.
I gave you six days for yourself and today is mine.
Your total obedience is what I

Have answered the call?
Jesus is calling, enter His Rest
The Son of God took your fall
He paid the price so that you be the best
I love Him because He loved me first
Now He is my shield against evil beast

But have answered His call?
Jesus paid the price for your sins
So that you can stand after the fall

Enter Marcheleo

Through the years
The pen spoke with different names
Poetry stretched through time
Representing my biography
The psychology of a season
Enables me to write and
Gives me a reason to enter a new phase
