Engross Poems

Give Them to Me

If you have them for me
If they are in you to give
Then give them to me...
If I've been good
Or, at least you thought I was good
Give them...
I receive them humbly and wholeheartedly
Don't hold 'em
For if you do, I will miss their beauty
Their freshness will wane and soon they will wilt and fade away
So give them...
Freely_
I'd do the same for you
My flowers...
Give me my beautiful, tender, aromatic fluorescents
Give them to me
I'd do the same for you
Give them while my eyes can behold their beauty, while my mind can reflect, and my nose can engross them
I'd do the same for you
Give them to me...
While the drum still beats in my chest
Give them...
Before I take my final rest
I want to hold them and gently engulf them
So give them to me
I'd do the same for you
Just give them to me
And I promise, I'd do the same for you

Teasing eyes that I can never get out
In my reveries, they haunt forever
Voluminous euphoric feelings sprout
And engross my musings without sever

Spend time gazing at the infinite highs
Your enthralling phiz pervades the blue screen
Decipher the transmitted from your eyes
Profound silence beat the heartstrings umpteen

Enchanting voice resonates in my heart
Droops me into a hallucination
Wish to soar leaving the whole realm apart
Quiet moments with exhilaration

Take the stand of Lord Byron to admire
You, as it's the lone thing that I aspire

Premium MemberENTHUSIASM

“ Enthusiasm is nothing more or less than faith in action.”
    - Henry Chester.

      Enthusiasm is nothing
      more or less than faith in action .
     Dynamism and zeal to bring
      on every implementation.

     Enthusiasm guides in each step.
     Confidence in activity
     will always lead , not to escape.
     Devotion is priority.

     Enthusiasm won't allow to
    put you on dark despondency
    Disappointment won't engross you.
   Stay strong , firm not under mercy.

       Enthusiasm is the pivot
       of your attempt and performance,
       keeping competent on each spot
       and under any circumstance.

       Enthusiasm is prime asset.
       not to decrease at any rate
        rather giving boost at its best,
        Always prompt to act, never late.

Premium MemberWitching Hour Minstrel Part Two

Whatever happened to the twelve o ‘clock rambler,
nocturnal venturesome brushstroke sort,
they face whirlwind snowfall, freezing ice,
while others brazenly squirm,
not for stoic diarist this threadbare exit,
exodus of the half-hearted humbug,
but ironclad ilk stubbornly remain,
eyes and ears are substitute antennas,
of this genus, genie, genius, glow worm ghost,
peaceful prowlers with pen on queue,
velvet moon worlds sidereal captured,
crescendo of cathartic bonhomie,
icy night frost punctured by high drive fog horns,
deft nib from dark ink manteau nomad,
who engross themselves in light and shade reflection,
as we balk at the eerie life we revel in,
drama under bridges, shadow figure chinwag,
river stream babble, blind alley gust,
eavesdrop on historic past teaser,
litter swept aural gossip whoosh,
eventide mournful dog bark heart tug,
darting elfin’s sly mind peep thereon,
yet the vagabond minstrel has to comb,
each backstreet, zebra crossing, sprawling suburb,
for inert sleepy after hour dozers,
who crave eye candy fodder as humdrum sidestep

Red Moon Rising

Red moon rising scanning below
Seeing all, keeping secrets close
Nothing in the night it won't know
Red moon rising

In a haze just slightly morose
To caws of a lone calling crow
Clouds sweeping to briefly engross

Hue in the sky of a fire show
Giving lookers an eerie dose
Wonders along with eyes to grow
Red moon rising

Premium MemberUnblinking Third Eye

Chakra midst the forehead; way to spiritual empire;
Symbol of complete consciousness and ethical umpire;
Disposition of enlightenment; corporeal world;
Integral unity; angelic wisdom within furled...!

Myths speak of Lord Shiva comprehending through his third eye;
He could annul ignorance; see yonder limits of sky;
The mystical clairvoyance is on; inner sight glazes;
Purple splendor like Amethyst; wisdom within blazes...!

Single-mindedness, precision, inspiration, insight,
Unblinking third eye is continually glowing light;
Perceiving the world sacredly; connecting to cosmos;
Within ever-shining divinity it does engross...!

Abolishing dubiety, vagueness and skepticism,
Uprooting adverse weeds of purposelessness and pessimism;
Gives coherence, assiduousness, spontaneity,
Leads to endless bliss; merging with eternal deity...!

Resumption of Daily Nightly Constitutional Lap2

Just on the cusp of experiencing joie de vivre,
the triumvirate of Crooks and Quade
figuratively swoop down
to announce re: inspection

Thus series of unfortunate events
(linkedin with bull limey
Lemony Snicket bro)
got sidelined nsync with
contracting a minor bout
with deadly Amish Flu
symptoms found garden variety reasonable rhymer
bedridden feeling a little horse and buggy (ha),
incapacitated to craft signature poetry writing.

An honest to dog confession
regarding hiatus spewing forth
vociferous versatile vocabulary
mine words - worth their weight in gold
(told woofer I do not know), nevertheless
included perusing a gamut of reading material.

The passion to engross intellect
witnessed courtesy immersing
attention, concentration, excitation
gratification, intoxication;
knowledge prized more precious
than fine spun gold.

Likewise crafting (albeit painstakingly)
elusive notions that flit
to and fro hither and yon

within parameters of
microscopically crenellated
sixty plus shades of gray matter
also constitutes fervent interest.

SUNFLOWER

           Sun gazing flower seeks sunbeam raising heads
           Until Sun sets, drinking bliss of sunshine.
           Now I am dreaming of your gaze till I am awake.
           Feeling fervent fervor ruminating our first date.
           Lavender love glowing like shiny satin petals of sunflower
           Our amour is flowing in flood with bubbling blood.
           While wandering in yard of wonderful sunflowers
           Ecstatic enchantment to engross with ethereal charm,
           Rendering myself as sunflower gazing only at you: My Sun.

Premium MemberWalking In the Shadow of the Lord

A constant companion since way back when,
He's my savior.  Amen.
Because my heart he does engross,
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

I've seen His movements in the world;
Seen His works--His wonders unfurled.
I've beheld the magic of August moon,
Smelled rose on summer afternoon.

I've read His ancient word, still true,
I've looked to endless skies, still blue.
Heavenly Father, on bended knee,
I lift my eyes and look to Thee.

Yes, heard His voice whisper in the wood;
Been His child since babyhood.
A love that shines brightly forevermore;
I've heard His knock upon the door.

I've glimpsed His figure in the fog;
We've been engaged in dialogue.
Yes, the minister affirms with a nod,
How amazing is God!

I've participated in the holy rites,
Beheld the stars on Christmas nights,
And seen things grandiose--
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

I GATHER UP MY WORDS

Lo! alas I come to task;
I await the change in my life;
But I've found myself lost;
I must not  but Jesus back on that cross;
For though I am loss, He found me with His grace;
I am faithful and engross, I look onto His face;
His light shines and takes me to a place;
I gather up my words, then say Hallelujah
I gather up my words, and say thank you Lord
I gather up my words, and say Hallelujah
I look onto His face He found me with His grace;
No longer lost, Jesus paid the cost;
I am my own boss I'm saved thanks to Jesus;
In suffering He plunge He rose His spirit, His soul;
He cried,  He died for me thanks be to God;
He plunge,suffered long suffering and His soul rose;
A wish faint and fading I sway;
Over the hill and far away;
The rapture of this life you've heard
I gather up my words, so to just praise the Lord
I gather up my words

Literature - People

I like to read people

Look around and read with curious eyes

Sometimes people are like open book

Few hide the pain

In poetic way,

Few take any situation

In humor sense,

Few make their point

Crisp like haiku,

Few rhyme well with others,

Few live their life

Interesting as unpredictable story ,

Few engross themselves

In the fantasy world away others,

Few act  like

They are in  drama stage,

Very few live in reality,

In non fictional way

Going with the flow blissfully,

Few are not my type of literature,

But I am fond of every one around me

Because they kindle the reader in me ??

Tandavam

Emotions spread out  in harmony
To express the fabrics of devine..

Conglomeration  of colours ,
Brighten our eyes .

Cadenced  movements ,
Create forms in  void.

Dancer becomes the dance  ,
And dance becomes the dancer .

Hairs of Lord Shiva
Dances in eternity.

When cosmic ,ecstatic dancer,
Dances in kailash ,
Mellifluous waves find it's guise ,
And carried away .

Wrapped snake and whirling hair ,
Floats in affinity.

Existence engross in
Celestial dance .
