Poetry is a life-cherishing force. For poems are not words, after all, but fires for the cold, ropes let down to the lost, something as necessary as bread in the pockets of the hungry."
— Mary Oliver
Poetry is a life-cherishing force
Nourishing my mind and inmost soul
It's a therapeutic menthol caressing my pores
Every moment I read, my happiness roll
Each time I share my joy is an utmost pool
Poetry is a life-cherishing source
My unlimited reservoir of inspiration
Storage of wisdom for life-going-coarse
Quenching thirst of knowledge, no starvation
For life’s beauty... more on satisfaction, adoration
Poetry is my life-cherishing force
Restoring my strength, driving my power
Midst enervation from a long-day-course
Found enough refreshment on my diversion hour
Painting my life and thoughts flowing like a river

As Rumple in blankets,
I vegetate in unfilled torpor,
Blind enervation adrift among
Extinguished stars, among dark
Torpid galaxies where I am a stranger.
I find only dead planets, windswept and barren,
Where molecules of a distant living past
Are vaguely recalled,
And where conceptions,
Convictions all collapse.
Exhaustion is an avalanche
Making no distinction between
vacuity and repletness.
Sleep believes nothing,
Not even the animated chatter of
My dreams.

he's been there doing that for
about twenty minutes
it's both palms on both
face pastries
he was here the other day
laptop in front of him
bopping and biffing
like in a boat race
chronic stress? enervation?
or giving the epidermis
something to think about
sod retinoids and clarins
maybe the brain is fusty
needs a few yawns too
like the sound of an alaskan
salmon against sham praise
is this the future? when i'm gone
on buses, trains, offices
a democratic spanking

"The key to finding a happy balance
in modern lives
is simplicity."
Sogyal Rinpoche, Tibetan Book of Living and Dying
A health wealthy key
to finding empowering balance
is synergetic simplicity.
Cooperation is simple
where competition is more complex.
Synergy restores peace;
dissociative energy punishes past injustices.
Complex synergetic patterns
are beautiful;
chaotic entropic enervation
is darkly dissonant.
Synergetic simplicity invites integrity;
capitalistic competitions consume
and produce self v other unraveling.
Integrity empowers further courageous curiosity;
dissonance disturbs past aggressive discouragement.
A wealthy health power
exploring integrity
embraces compassionate simplicity.

COMEDIC REDEMPTION
Once when that black ice cloud chilled me again
In mind and heart, it froze all aspiration
Taking me below resentment fear or pain
To a hopeless state of cold dark enervation
A voice on air waves transformed my demeanour
A fabled comic, stand up routine performing
His art, and vital zest were my spirit's redeemer
Irreverence blest achieved a mind's reforming
The fog of despond cleared, I then saw light
And hugged myself for shared joy, laughter, life restored
Though my problems might still exist, it was alright
I could face them and they didn't have me floored
So a blessing on those with talent to give us mirth
Holy, impious power to show life's balance and shatter
The belief that all has solemn, significant worth
And see that sometimes it really doesn't matter
Let lightness and joviality infect our space
Spread from Jupiter to gloomy Pluto and Angry Mars
So that even God won’t admonish, but crack his face
And laughter then will echo round the stars

SONNET OF COMIC REDEMPTION
Once when that black ice cloud enclosed me again
Penetrated mind and heart, freezing all aspiration
Taking me below resentment fear or pain
To a hopeless state of dull weary enervation
I heard a voice that transformed my demeanour
A fabled comic in stand up routine performing
His art, vitality and zest were my spirit's redeemer
Divinely decadent achieving a mind's reforming
The fog of despondence dispersed and I saw light
And hugged myself for shared mirth and life restored
Situation unchanged yet somehow was alright
I could face it - it no longer had me floored
So may joviality spread from Jupiter to Saturn and Mars
And let joy and laughter echo round the stars
Competition: Taking a disappointment etc

Beauty, like most things, is subjective
Some people prefer a statue, marble,
Crafted at the enervation of the sculptor.
Others prefer smoke, thin and intangible,
Dancing in plumes to an atonal rhythm.
Call me crazy, but I prefer neither.
I admire you in your skin in clothes
Shorts and a tank-top, as you move
So exotically your hips to a drum in time.
However I don't find beauty in arousal,
Yet in a connection seen in eyes,
Held in hands, and know, I find
Large amounts of beauty in you
I could sit with you and die.
As we all do now, sad and alone, yet
As soon as proximity is reached
Between us, dying becomes more.
It becomes the tobacco between
The fire at a cigarettes tip,
And the filter, that sweet sin
That has so enticed you before.
However, that's just me,
As beauty is subjective.

The nations
Enervation
Continuation
Down hill slide
Occupation
Other countries
Causing harmful
Loss of pride
Will the donor
Operation
Give me back
My heart inside
Is there no peace
Preoccupation
All the weapons
Try to hide
Is there only
My salvation
In my hope
Is it a lie?
Can there be
A place to where
Laws are written
Undenied
Will there be
A place where only
Words are spoken
From inside
