Mrs Claus made a viagra eggnog
To energise ol’ Santa Claus Yule log
His frozen south pole recovered large-scale
Wagging frisky as a puppy dogs tail.
Mrs Claus dumplings hubby does adore
Her stew warms up her Santa’s inner core
Gravy so thick that it sticks to their lips
Leading to bliss of a lingering kiss.
If you are able …take a moment each day
To treat yourself to a little bit of loveliness
To create a sunshine ray
A little bit of loveliness no matter how slight
Can warm a tired or saddened soul
Shifting gloomy to bright
Just a little “You” time somewhere in your day
Simple and pleasurable
To energise your batteries and blow those blues away!
Sunsets
Beyond doubt I’m sure there could never be
Displays as lovely as sunsets to me
Changing kaleidoscopic shades of red
As sun descends to rest his drowsy head.
God’s evening scene at its glorious best
We upon earth are stupendously blessed
Sky is most picturesque at eventide
While world awaits moon and stars energise.
Though at times grey clouds blot out the sunshine
Because it’s raining somewhere and that’s fine
Downpour of rain’s vital for revival
Creatures of earth and mankind’s survival.
So whenever there’s a stunning sunset
The artist with His colourful palette
Paints the sky in the most delightful way
Treasure for pleasure at close of the day.

Speak the truth with intent to be helpful
Praise more, criticise less, with smile beautiful
Reach out often, rekindling past moments colourful
Empathise without attempting to weigh or size
Accept loving gestures in childlike surprise
Desist from declaring we are more wise
Illuminate the relationship with a touch kind
Nip in the bud discord that makes us misaligned
Greet and meet cheerfully, sowing seeds that bind
Hand out thank you notes expressing our gratitude
Appear when skies darken to fortify fortitude
Positivity and optimism be our attitude
Practice love’s presence without pretence
Inject in every moment soul’s innate effulgence
Normalise and harmonise faults using common sense
Energise life with the vibrancy pure love’s intention
Sanctify words we speak, through meditation
Surrender to flow of life, softening attention

Today I feel flat, I find it a little hard to motivate
The sun is shining, I feel loved
Yet still I feel low
So why?
This is unlike me
Usually strong, relaxed, no stress
Today I feel flat, time to accept and adopt this
Like a hand torch, my battery fails
A dim weak light
Run out?
I need to find charge
Energise myself, invigorate, lift
Today I feel flat, I need power from within myself
Hard to find also, have to dig deep
I feel I owe this
Not sink?
Or just accept
Live with this feeling, explore it
So today I feel flat, tomorrow maybe better
Where have all the raindrops gone
Spilling from on high?
Which once would fall about my head
But now my head is dry.
Where have all the snowflakes gone
Ambling down from space?
Shivering in the winter wild
And melting on my face.
Where have all the rivers gone
Dashing to and fro?
They once would splash across the land
As seaward they would go.
Where have all the oceans gone
To crash against the shore?
All that's left is salted sand
Upon a seabed floor.
Where have all the rainbows gone?
They lighted up the days.
They once would bow and bend and reach
So far the eye could gaze.
Where have all the sundrops gone
To energise the rain?
Absent now, without a trace,
And never seen again.
And where have all my brothers gone?
Each walked the earth with me;
O'er moor and mountain, here and there,
From clifftop to the sea.
And where have all my sisters gone,
And all the loves I've known?
Disappeared, just like the rain,
So, now I'm left alone.

STORIES TO LIVE BY
Oh! tell me tales that lift the spirit, energise the soul
Inspire a faith that gives the strength to drive toward a goal
Let not the story of the nation be a book of shame
That current generations may seek solace couched in blame
Though there may be dark chapters of our history beset
With episodes of evil we now view with deep regret
True annals yet tell stories of bold quests by those of daring
Who ventured forth with courage, thought of self-preserve foreswearing
To conquer craggy peak, cross frozen continent and sea
And some of grace faced tyranny, risked life to set us free
Let victimhood and pointed accusation not prevail
Nor guilt and self abasement write a gloomy new folktale
As every day a page is turned to quicken and advance
Our lives, should we not be the author of our own romance
Then one day hence we may recount in parable or fable
A legend that all may embrace to hearten and enable
Resistance is futile
We will add your biological diversity to ours
The cubes are patrolling
Our injected nano technology will change you
We don’t eat be re-energise
And unless we perceive a danger we won’t worry about you
You will be added and changed
All that will remain is the number designation we give to you
We’ll take an eye but don’t be concerned
You will be part of our perfection
Resistance is futile.

Extrovert eyes express cimmerian connotations,
hidden within silent chambers of an introvert mind.
Thoughts twist and turn, but disguise frustrations,
as a melancholic heart struggles to remain kind.
Drained by energies from those who fail to understand,
soul seeks solitude to energise back into life,
Searching for a comfort zone in the promised land,
before insanity cuts deeper than a poisoned knife.
Confined to dogmatic chains results in confusion,
as faith becomes an enemy within critical cultures.
Torn between paradise and social seclusion,
soul seeks solitude from vociferous vultures.
Complicated compromises mean hearts will be broken,
yet introvert wings yearn to be free so they can soar.
Life is a balance of words voiced and left unspoken,
if only it was as simple as walking through that door.
The Silent One
Simple Musings
18 July 2018
In solitude you control
what you do when,
for how long, and why.
You have time-out for contemplation
to muse on, reflect on, and deeply ponder on
what is happening in your own life, in isolation.
Solitude is you alone, but its not lonely,
if you are your own best friend,
if you have too much to do to miss company,
if you know you need time away to stroll and amble,
to rebuild, re-energise and revitalise
your joie de vivre.
Solitude re-jigs, re-boots, unwinds and de-stresses.
It improves concentration, refreshes.
It boosts productivity and restores control again.
It is selfish, for self, by self for self benefit.
Solitude fosters and fertilises creativity,
allowing it to germinate, sprout and grow.
It is peaceful, and allows peace to be found in quietude.
Taking solitude in, imbibing it,
savouring its morsels, sips and crumbs,
is a soul revelling in solitary confinement.
Run for the hills, just pack up and go,
Today, right now, right here,
Turn off the net, hop in the car,
And slowly just disappear,
From the world of plain, go to the beach,
To the waves where each is anew,
Let every small wave roll over your feet,
Every wave that comes from the blue,
Bringing a healthy revive, energise and restore,
To relight your emotional flame,
Just let the waves keep breaking over your skin,
Removing the tired old same.
Then, after a night, return to your home,
Without the hurt, pain and ache,
Return back to your world of living with fire,
With a colourful vibrant awake.
A poem is never merely still born,
It has its creator's eyes, ears and nose
Yet,unique it lives a life of its own
Independent,well able to stand alone;
On others it can,influence,affect
Energise,direct or initiate
A response,unforseen and immediate
Or lie dormant,yet not dead,but waiting;
Watered by another's mutual bond
Whose voice is this that awakens me from a deep sleep,
irresistibly pushing me out of my comfortable bed?
It only spoke once, this voice so deep,
but it echoes countless times in my head.
Its noble sound so electrifying, soothing, strong.
Now I’m brimming over with cheerful whistles all day long
like a bird that escaped from the fowler's snare,
I don’t have a care.
Whose voice is this that suddenly opens my eyes?
My visual senses energise,
with a strength of vision that’s new.
And, lo, a spectacular view!
I see an eagle with piercing eyes
flying high in deep blue skies.
Suddenly the eagle and I are one,
swept in ecstasy toward the sun.
To the heights of heaven,
I see a pearly gate with a mirror and the number seven.
I’m in awe as I see
a man in the mirror looking back at me.
He holds a pen and a book
with magic words and I take a look.
Then he speaks with that voice so deep
telling me to go back to sleep
and promising answers as life goes on
in my dreams and in a song.

Open yourself up
feel the pulse of life.
Allow it to course through
your body and meld with it.
Embrace the feeling
and flow with it.
Allow it to energise you
until you throb.
Now let go,
permit yourself
to be free,
as free as a cloud.
Only now are you truly one
with the Universe.
Feel it, accept it
and say I am Sensation.

Enlivening hymns
that inspired,
Exalting emotions
breathed life into,
Your great pen
as I longed to read,
In my dreams
to you connected,
Enlightened my mind
your words with my heart rhymed,
Trust my letter reaches and allures
your soul sits beside me here,
Dear poet Shakespeare !
Your poetic grandeur and
Philosophical splendour,
Dramatic literary playwright,
Howsoever hard I tried,
Unable to cope up current time,
certain forms of poetry
I could never write,
Is it the form
that mattered,
Even if may the
emotions lie shattered,
Invigorate and energise
whisper softly to apprise,
Dear poet Shakespeare!
Did you ever learn notes ?
Or naturally became
to be known as quotes?
Should I nurture my mind
to shape verse into a kind ?
Or let smoothly flow
the way heart may guide ?
Can you once holdon to
my pen and teach me write ?
Just in order to put up
ideas shining very bright,
Dear poet Shakespeare !
