Self-discovery
I have been robbed of the joy well deserved,
The golden confidence beneath,
The inner peace.
I have been robbed of a voice, treasured
Caged, and echoing behind my rib cage.

What a long journey of discovery,
Discovery of wealth carried in me.
And now I am a walking art,
Built from fragments of my broken past.

Elevation

Where I was born and raised, the elevation was only 164 Feet
above sea level. When I was 32, upon first ascending an elevation
of 6200 feet, I had an excruciating headache.

The eagle thrives and survives with elevation.
The eagle cannot soar on winds of low elevation.
