The Atlantic in your eyes

If you love me, tell me now.
Actions speak louder than words,
Especially when I wear my heart like a crown.
You’re my choice of drug—
Addictive.
Mentally, physically, and emotionally.

You’re the queen of my heart,
No crown needed.
Till death do us part,
But death will be beneath us.
Nothing will ever come between us.

Eyes blue like the Atlantic,
So deep I get lost in them.
My lips on your skin—
What a heavenly taste.
You’re all I desire;
You can call it a sin.

You’re mine, forever and always.
Pull me closer.
I’m in your arms, my love.
All my worries fade away,
Like a cloud on a sunny day.
You’re perfection.
You’re my peace in every storm.

Even on the darkest days,
Your smile still shines through.
Just me and you.

The Moon of a Silent Night

In the silent sky, a veil of clouds,
Within it, a shy little moon—
Hiding beneath the shade of green trees,
The city today feels like a taste of a dream.
The distant houses fall into stillness,
The lights fail to speak their words,
The breeze seems to whisper softly—
“This night is filled only with your sorrow.”
Even the moon peeks through the clouds,
Silently holding many words concealed,
My heart, as if along with it,
Travels far on unknown paths.
From leaf to leaf, a melody rises,
In the night’s song, a gentle fragrance,
In the heart of the city, filled with silent tunes,
Awaken the deep feelings within.
Sometimes an unfamiliar night arrives,
Where all words disappear,
Only the moon and the heart’s whispers
Compose poetry in the silence.

Yearning Into Reverie

On dark, cold soil,
atop the soaring green turf,
lay cold, rusty, nostalgic houses.

The path that led to them
was faded and shallow,
with the feeling
it could cave in
at any moment.

Scattered along that path
were derelict vehicles
from different eras
each one different heaps of life.

Fog filled the houses.
It filled the cars too,
like a raging campfire,
too sinister
to be put out.

And yet here I am,
wandering through this old-world neighborhood,
yearning into reverie
this faded memory
feels like the perfect remedy.

Dreamlike white mountains

Dreamlike, dreamlike white mountains!
Wrapped in shawls of pure white snow,
Hearing your name again and again, it’s etched in our minds,
Speaking of you repeatedly, you've been preserved in our hearts.
On snowy beds at night, I've poured out secrets to you,
Only to you I've confessed, only to you I've boasted.
Since then, a sweet dream has unsettled me,
That sweet dream led me, restless, straight to you!

Dreamlike, dreamlike white mountains!
Have my desires now been fulfilled?
Like a carpet spread wide, I fell at your feet,
Thinking I saw you, I cried in disbelief,
Sobbing deeply to myself, unable to come to you.
On your chest, true streams rumble in might,
And within my chest, poetic streams flow in delight,
Unable to bear the roaring streams, my ears fell quiet!

Dreamlike, dreamlike white mountains!
Stretching hands toward the sky,
Don’t think they’re just unyielding stones,
Carving valleys, even stones have shed tears,
From the tears of mountains, many springs have begun,
Even lofty clouds have trembled before towering peaks,
Flocking like sheep, unable to surpass your summits,
I dream to be like you—this is my greatest wish!

a ghost from our past
visited us this morning
like a wandering entity
with a message of hope

the person he spoke to
no longer lives here now
having since transmuted
as a beacon of living light

the silhouette of our past
yet heard out the apparition
for perhaps he did bring
greetings from the universe

outcome any in as ordained
we embraced and released
the dance of life in motion
feeling a strange emptiness

''Ydych Chi Eisiau Fioled'' - Do You Want a Violet

“Do you want a violet?”
I turn to glance at her,
Hazel-green eyes aglow,
Yellow-edged with sunflower petals.

I cannot talk. I smile.
I stare at her for a while.
She has violets in her hair,
Sprinkles of purple everywhere,
Intertwined with every strand.

And suddenly, she grabs my hand,
The other slips by me, grazes my cheek,
Atop my head rests a crown of violets.
I again find myself unable to speak,
Faced with a smile, a wrinkled nose,
And a gentle whisper - “beautiful.”

Words fail me,
But my cheeks do not.
A startling red flush, heat pricking across
A mottled surface of alabaster.

“Are you okay?” “Fine.”
A word. A croak. Is that all?
The smile grows, obscuring her face.
Suddenly, I find my focus is on the grass,

Little waves of green, and white heathers,
Lapping against the shores of her skin.

To Where

Speeding through the tunnel,
The other side of nowhere, as my brain,
In a soporific chemical induced state,
Plays tricks.
Feeling safe, yet in an instant
The safety is pulled from my consciousness.
In a juxtaposition twixt thrill and fear,
Nicotine smoke catches me,
Senses enlivened to yet another toxin,
Another drug filling me.
He is my all, I know not why,
But as he takes me, reassures me,
Treats me with contempt yet passion,
I am resigned to it.
To the fact I will allow him,
To take me, own me, slowly poison me,
And as I grip on tight he takes me…..
To where?

fog rolled in over the hill
hovering without a sound
it lingered like a ghost

we held our breath
but saw no movement
not a quiver or a bark

and so the hush of autumn
here was upon us
of that we had no doubt

Dreamlike,
So surreal my dream
 I am floating in mid-air
Falling from my inter realm
A flying soul so ethereal
 Felt ever unreal
I am amazed and in a hazy state
What is my faith
I'm falling to a new space

In another scheme a violent dream
I was asleep to the shadowy streams
Again floating me emerging sedated
Awakening
Subconscious now fully arose
And my cardinal state
For longer I meditate
Wait! crackling brights of light flames

Flooring soaring high stills feels like I'm dreaming
Flame circulate in my room
Of my home
Through the doorway appeared essence and fears
Am I at Hell's gate
Imaginary my fate
Fire scape
Wither free falling in space

Twixt heavens Glory and Gates
DreamLike state?
Questioning myself
Am I free falling floating to heaven
Or am I awakened eyes blazing lying in hell
Shall I awaken in this beautiful yet scary trancelike wake
I am, I was in a dreamlike state

My fickle-minded, "dreamlike" self so says,
This life, like dew-drops, here, is "unreal";
Immaculate flowers my garden bears,
Few days, lo, they fade and face burial...

Lustrous desires seep in me like teabags,
And stir "surreal" delights in my cup;
When inner integrity gets in snags,
Fancies occupy my mind and puff up...

Earthly life, "Trancelike", is gifted to me,
Like a gift I share it so blissfully;
Affections, "Shadowy" pleasures hug me,
I get rid of them rather so sadly...

"Imaginary" Past, present, future,
Years, eras, Times, and minutes are counted;
And the Earth, Fire, Water, Sky, and Ether,
Seen and unseen truths and marvels measured...

"Ethereal" Divine interventions,
Graces and gifts poured on me heaven-like;
Life born "hazy" from Spirit's loveliness,
Will reach Him, most soundly and angel-like.

“Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night.” (Daniel 2:19)

Premium Member On Some Back Road In Texas

On some back road in Texas
Where time had flown away
Sat a dreamlike Kinkade home
Of warmth and heart, not paint,
With shaded walkway arbor
Crowned with leaves and flowers.
                          Love dwelt there.
A lovely little couple,
Long past their youthful prime,
Welcomed us into their home
With bright and cheerful smiles
Saying, “We over-ripe grapes
Are now in raisin time.”
                            Love was there.
Our afternoon was blissful
Midst rose and hollyhock
Seated near a lily pond,
A lotus eater’s dream,
With tea, crumpets, clotted cream
And conversation sweet.
                        Love shared there.
We bade farewell at even
With smiles, and hugs and tears
To Pop Vin and Auntie Mae.
A stooped for sale sign wept
For the home they would depart.
The pair smiled even so.
                        Love held on.
One later year we passed by
Under a searing sky
That burned up cornfields nearby
Their home worn and withered
As grapes long past raisin time.
Wistfully we knew why:
                        Love had gone.

A Glimpse of Love

You're the best thing to happen to me,
So let our love fly free.
You're my dream come true,
Even if we are a bit cuckoo.
You're the woman in my life.
One day you'll be my wife.
You're the one I turn to.
I'm so glad I met you.
You gave me a chance,
And we found romance.
We will fight the cold weather
In our life together.
I never imagined that this would occur,
Life flying by in a blur.
Now nothing will ever break us apart,
For you have a valuable piece of my heart.
I know this is true,
Because life without you
Isn't worth living.
All my love to you I am giving.

A medallion moon adorns ebony skies

as it limpid light hangs

like a gleaming gold doubloon

dangling dreamlike

under a chandelier of sparkling stars.

In this dreamlike world
You float where the wind takes you
Your hair blows with you
Flowing with the dreams desire
Love is always present here
