Knighted under the blood moon while
Inside he felt only loving-compassion,
Nevertheless, he was to subjugate without mercy.
Gaining territory based solely on hereditary menace,
Only to be diffused in imperial will by the joyous allowance of being,
Frontier-ed outwards he was by order of the magistrates to dominate outer lands.
The secret solace being the souls of all he encounters within the guise of a hateful army.
Earthen-bound he meets all with grace and reverence in loving-secret, ir-
-Redeemably spreading like a viral ghost love.
Reigning in plain sight of the magistrates,
Only two verses were left.
Readers everywhere are left--bereft.
An engineer's uniform
sparked a child's imagination,
and, one strange and early morn,
he was in a railway station.
An old man lost in reverie,
couldn't begin to understand.
His cloudy eyes could barely see
a young lad's outstretched hand.
There, beneath a station clock,
by knobby cane, supported,
all choked up, he couldn't talk -
how was he here transported?
His railway watch, long unused,
hung from a chain of gold.
Thro' stained-glass windows' light diffused,
he saw a palm outstretched to hold.
Then, like a railroad car on a mobius strip,
a child woke up from a mystic dream,
as an old man dropped in the child's grip,
a watch, and vanished, dead, like steam.

the left
and the right
Truth
is in hiding
diffused
in the light
Somewhere
beyond
what labels
ordain
Veracity
waits
the future
— to claim

When I look back as far as I can see
through the past of my Earthly memory
I cannot find an absence of belief
or faith in single, loving Deity
I do not know of life without a Lord
hymns on Sundays, singing every chord
However, through a trying adult phase
I turned away on my own proud accord
Although I still believed, I was in pain
Along with ancient anger - Abel, Cain
Temptation put upon Adam and Eve
Then told in Paradise could not remain
I witnessed others select, pick, and choose
particular scriptures that they could use
To back their case, justify, or rationalize
My glowing flame of faith became diffused
Entered theories of physics and science
led me toward Old Testament defiance
In prayer, I now addressed "The Universe"
And on personal God put much less reliance
Exhilarated by Quantum Mechanics
I put on hold mere Biblical semantics
Less literally, I clung to verse of youth
And traveled through a phase of my own antics
Now, when I try to synthesize it all
Everything I've come to know and can recall
It all comes back to Love and Consciousness
Hence, this is where I'll settle ... though Self so small
Often times referred to as the head of the house,
We have no say unless the boss has her say first.
Yet in this gentle dance of love and order,
A father stands with steady, patient grace.
Role model for growing successors,
He walks the path so they may follow true.
A source of diffused wisdom with the Lord's help,
He offers guidance born of faith and trial.
Daughter's favorite person,
Whose arms bring comfort, whose words bring light.
Son's favorite emulator,
Whose steps they watch and seek to match with might.
Placed by God as the nucleus of the family,
He holds the center with humble, quiet power.
Through laughter shared and burdens gently borne,
He reflects the Father's endless, steadfast love.
On this day we honor you, dear fathers near and far,
For every sacrifice made in silence,
For every prayer whispered in the dark,
For every lesson wrapped in daily care.
May the Lord who placed you in this sacred role
Fill your heart with peace and joy untold.
For in your strength, we see His hand at work,
A blessing to your home, a gift to this world.

Tinged by cinnabar the spent sun sets
at the gray edge of the gloomy horizon.
As all the shadows of the extant lengthen,
the diffused light of the day they cannot sap.
Dusky dimness descends opaque and heavy,
floods the blurred spine of the pining plateau,
captures the lively tinge of the emerald trees,
until the shadows fade into obscure gloom.
Luminosity of the remnant reminiscence
glimmers in the deserted mental foyer.
Remnant rays of the drifting crescent moon,
illumine the obscure corridor of memory.
Clutching its silhouette the mystified life drifts
through the diffused array of the moonbeam,
knowing the stars shine bright in the dark sky,
the candles burn bright in the gloomy room.
for the first time since she dropped the toxic bomb
of her journey of independence separation and divorce
he feels and not just thinks himself at perfect ease
maybe not utter bliss passionate joy nor happiness
but relieved somehow liberated and on a new path himself
quite possibly he has been handed a blessing in disguise
his mind has stopped playing tricks and destruction
and exhaustion slowly gives way to curiosity and novelty
surely there will be speed bumps and potholes on the way
roundabouts to negotiate and engines to service breaks to apply
yet the seeming dead end obstruction turned into choices
opportunities challenges and options for an exciting future
truth, a specific view of reality
it appears before persons at a given moment
it is not static and cannot be measured
in a laboratory
each individual score is different
as every perceived phenomenon is specific
truth is time bound according
to one mindset frequency within a set framework
truth is always connected
to convenience for wit as best position
based on individuals heeded comfort
convenience and conviction
one scoop can sword another
face can be beautiful or unsavoury
since truth is pliable it is easily
bent by egoic mind as positioning moves
its nature and clarity is not rooted
in material mirrors
moves from waves beyond time-space
ability to touch truth as purity
indicated on spiritual station
being both measurable and unmeasurable
diffused by gospel stories
it can't be captured within single framework
by set groups of labelled individuals
remaining unbound to space
free from human law
individual truth is presence coloured
as fact for material conveniences

September fog, a grey shawl,
settles on the fields, the trees,
erasing edges, softening lines.
the sun, a ghost behind gauze,
offers no sharp edges,
only a mist-diffused light.
footsteps muffled on the path,
each one a gentle drumbeat~
walking meditation.
soul softens~
between inhale and exhale,
a quiet contemplation.
thoughts unfurl
like ferns in the damp earth~
clamor fades.
what remains~
the quiet hum
of my own inner landscape.

Suffused with diffused glint
of my love at sunset,
you faded like twilight
in fallen stormy sky.
Angst thunder broke my heart,
the splinters sighed in pain,
cracked voice echoed in void.
she had only asked him to come in for a cup of hot strong coffee
an innocent gesture in her mind maybe an interesting exchange
of thoughts on philosophical matters like love death and existence
yet once they had smoked a first cigarette the smoke clouds parted
like sea waters of Yam Suph in the form of spiritual enlightenment
candles flickered and incense filled the room with sandalwood and musk
serenity and pheromones diffused hardship fear loneliness and inhibition
passionate silence of words merged with quivering lips in fervorous action
and the pulse of their hearts raced in crescendo surely missing a few beats
velvet skin like cinnamon bark feverishly exposed unlimited desire
an immaculate conception of wisdom arose from instantaneous Karma
and twenty years later they still need no picture guide on how to make love
"the clouds parted like the pursed lips of desire" and that meant the world
