Precious Moments

There aren't enough hours in the day
to do all I need to do
and for me
to be there with you
not enough days in the week
to go where I want to be
or for you
to be here with me
and tho' someone said, 'Crime don't pay,'
in a moment you stole my heart away
you're guilty don't want to lose you
an accessory I can't refuse you
a crime of passion I have to accuse you
of loving me in the first degree
(and the feeling's mutual in reciprocity)
as time steals up and goes past so fast
stolen moments are all we have
making each and every precious one last

It was nine degrees outside in April
In the chill of a dreary April day,
I find myself wandering through the dimness,
My eyes were straining in the absence of light.
As I approach the door, a sense of familiarity washes over me, pulling me back to a time of comfort and solace.
The thought of retreating to the inviting embrace of my warm bed beckons me like a gentle siren, contrasting sharply with the biting cold that surrounds me.
In this moment, I realize that in this vast expanse of uncertainty, there is only one clear path to follow—one that leads back to the refuge of my blankets and dreams.

Murder in the first degree

I can feel it crawling underneath, underneath my skin today.
Why should I even care now? its murder in the first degree.

You, you're not the person i thought you claimed to be.
why should i even care now? Its murder in the first degree.

Now i can hear it calling for me. From the land of makebelive.
why do i even care now? Its murder in thed first degree.

Time it stops the hurtting thats what they said to me.
why should i even care now? its murder in the first degree.

Love to the Truest Degree

I've had others,
Men, Women and more,
But they don't compare,
They're not like you,
Not at all

Piercing eyes sway my perception,
Long luscious hair flourishes in wind,
Bold voice, so proud, so captivating,
They're not like you,
Not at all

Safe and comfortable,
Secured to the bond,
That we now share,
They're not like you,
Not at all

Premium MemberLove in the First Degree

Don't want an attorney I have no defense
for I am ready before any jury to publicly confess
Before you judge me and condemn me cold
I plea for your mercy from all my soul
I cannot live a lonely life untrue
my sweet darling I only love you.

I plea guilty for loving you in the first degree
you can chain my heart and throw away the key
sentence me to a life of loving you
I'll serve my time through and through.

If you judge me and see my chain
I'll lift it up high and gladly proclaim
Yes I am guilty and happy as can be
I'll do the time please never set me free
I cannot live a lonely life untrue
my sweet darling I only love you

I'll serve my time through and through
sentence me to a life of loving you
You can chain my heart and throw away the key
I plea guilty for loving you in the first degree.

Certain Degree

I'm not the greatest poet
Although I do have a couple of degrees.
One's for my sense of humour
The others for my honesty.

Premium MemberAdvanced Degree In Plagiarism From Tromp University

These days, the most sought out advanced degree
In Extreme Higher Education is in Plagiarism.
A student can also minor in Overt Racism,
Sexism, Misogyny, Stupidity, and Bigotry.
Help wanted signs will be posted in January,
On every freaking corners in Washington D.C.;
Muslims, Mexicans, Syrians and minorities'
Applications will not be accepted. Senior citizens
Can apply unless they voted in the last two elections.
The reason for the change in rules and policies
Is to NOT 'Make America Great Again'.
Only Europeans and Aryans can apply for political asylum.
The Statue of Liberty will be returned to Marine Le Pen.
More pamphlets will be distributed at the next symposium.

Your decree has expired
You used to force me since I was a teen student
You kept forcing me during 16 years of flying
You ordered me to get up, to go, to work,
To study, to eat, to sleep, to move, and more…

From today on…
Your order is no longer sacred
I will wake up, eat, sleep, compose,
Manage my time with my heart
Claiming a retirement in all technical fields
I will enjoy my humble life
I will conquer the world with my pen!

Twenties; A Degree with No Job

 Haha, must be funny,
How I had substantial dreams for my early 20s,
I believed I would have an excellent life!
With a good job,
And possibly even a hubby.
Now in my mid-20s,
No job and no income to woo.
Dreams postponed and placed on hold.

I only have my degree to my name,
Like tying a knot, no income, no money!
Depending on my family, experiencing pressure,
Even difficult to get airtime on my own!
However, I will keep going, no matter what,
Wishing for the break to triumph at last.

I’m too young for this, life is playing a trick,
Unprepared for life's unexpected twists
Is joy just a wisp of smoke?
Why is life such a drag?
No fun to be found.
Oh, the misery of missing laughs!
There is no humor in the screenplay of this life.

Political lies and corruption,
always cause divides.
Antisemitism is forcing us,
 into choosing sides.

Each day the wedge,
is being driven deeper.
Also each mountain faced,
is looking steeper.

Things are always changed,
supposedly for our best.
yet our borders remain open,
by political request.

Changes that are coming
seldom affect the elite.
They’ll continue to march,
to the same drumbeat.

The government pushes EV’s,
that most can’t buy.
And they won’t build the wall,
many people question why?

To help in climate change,
we’re to slow on eating meat.
We’ll soon have a country,
that’s unable to compete.

Today, Illegal immigrants,
our country, is invading.
While many now see,
the American dream fading.

We view ourselves as fish,
being forced to swim upstream.
Hopefully, next election,
we’ll elect an honest regime.

Tumbling Leisurely 2 a Degree

One day perhaps

Maybe much

Exactly as this

You not not when

Nor cannot fathom why

You find yourself

Awakening from a dream

Just like this

Tumbling endlessly

Leisurely up to a degree

Down a somewhat familiar hole

Waiting expectantly at any point

To hit rock bottom

No where further

No longer left

Less onto go

With you knelt kneeling

On broken knee

Simply just counting unto yourself

Just how many falls you ignored

Before you eventually ended up

Falling on your sword

5th Degree Burn

I’m tasting fumes
Every word I try to say,
burning me up inside

I forgot all my chances
at the girl-next-door’s house

And I waited to call you
as the medication wore down

Is my heart beating through the phone?
So loud,
I can’t hear myself think

Think for a second,
say your piece,
I hope it’s metaphorically sound

With the just the right amount
of hopeless romantic

Is my heart beating through the phone?
We’re half way through this monologue
but I haven’t heard an apology yet

You must have started where I left off
I must have heard things wrong
Oh, and your pitiness has really worn off
at this point

I’m far from hanging up
but my words have just as much passion
as I want them to

Is my heart beating through the phone?
You haven’t said a word in a while

Yet I’m far from hanging up
Still hanging on,
I’m far from hanging up

I forgot all my chances
at the girl-next-door’s house

And I waited to call you
as the medication wore down

Is my heart beating through the phone?
I think it could tell you what I mean
without me saying it

Second - Degree

There once was a young man, called Jack Leach,
Who fell asleep, on a nudist beach.
But the sun and fresh air,
    Soon scorched his derrière.
Now it looks like, an overripe peach.
