There is a particular kind of hunger
That learns to live without being fed.
And perhaps the cruelest mercy:
Even the compass bends towards the star it cannot touch,
And mine has never learned another north.
So I let the longing stay,
Knowing I was never meant to find my way out
From wandering beneath the same unreachable sky,
For I feared
That home, once found would wrench the way to you.
BONDED STIFF
Our love knows no swiftness;
It’s tied and bowed in stiffness.
Our love life is no played game;
It is an everlasting bond attained.
May our love ever be as if a royal palace evening ball;
An orchestrated ball, admired and wished for by all.
May this precious bond between you and me,
Be granted an ever-blessed bond of eternity:-
Before the dawn has painted sky or land,
My heart awakens, calling out your name,
And every quiet movement of your hand
Is light that puts my darkest fears to shame.
You are the gentle breath inside my chest,
The sacred altar where my troubles fall,
The only shore where wandering thoughts can rest,
My quiet sanctuary through it all.
I trace the tender lines upon your brow,
And thank the heavens that our paths have crossed;
To hold you in the stillness of the now
Is finding life where everything was lost.
No worldly treasure, fortune, title, power,
Could ever match the devotion that I feel;
With every passing day and fleeting hour,
My love grows only deeper, pure and real.
If I am granted all my remaining days,
I vow to give my life to honor yours,
To hold your heart in reverence and praise
As long as breath remains and spirit endures.
I believe your spirit’s free
Sometimes you come down
Reassuring poor me
That I can be found
Cause I’m thinking of you, babe
Every day I do
So it’s kind of sign that's maybe
Suitable for you
You watch out from a space
That can’t be discerned
Every time I see your face
One more star falls burned
Cause you think of me my dear
Our thoughts entwine
Every moment you appear
With a glass of wine..
If it’s possible, angel baby
Take me to a green side of planet
Let me hear the ocean wailing
Telling beautiful lies, I’ll share it
Now it’s getting a bit too tough
Bit too anxious, bit too uncertain
I keep sending my words of love
Hope they barely flap that curtain
If it’s possible, let her know
That I play her messages daily
At late night, when it’s time to go
So our time is still saved from fading
But if it’s not possible, then
What would be next, don’t tell
There’s no point to repeat again
What I know myself bit too well.
What did you say? I cannot hear
Say it again, if you don’t mind
Or if you do, I’ll go from here
Forever lost and undefined
I’ll dig that soil of my own garden
I’ll watch the sunsets every day
Will never ever beg your pardon
For any guilt on me you’d lay
Cos I was sentenced long ago
To be as free as gentle breeze
That blows whatever way I go
Stops when I ask him about this..
I wear my heart on my sleeve,
love too deep,
give too much of myself away.
But I wear the insults too
like tattoos etched beneath my skin,
words I never asked to keep.
I take things personally,
not because I'm fragile,
but because somewhere along the way
it was carved into my brain
that every broken thing in the room
must somehow be my fault.
So every criticism finds a home,
every rejection grows roots,
and every harsh word echoes longer
than it ever should.
I've spent years carrying
other people's anger in my pockets,
mistaking it for my own reflection.
A body covered in fingerprints
from hands that never stayed long enough
to see the bruises they left behind.
I love deeply.
But what nobody tells you
is that people who love deeply
often bleed deeply too.
And when you've spent years being told
you're the problem,
even your wounds start apologizing
for being there.
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
But the hardest thing I've ever done
is learning that not every wound
belongs to me.
As the day fades, the evening falls
But what does it explain, after all?
Fools can reason it, wise never try
You don’t care to know, neither care I
I got sun through the trees at my home
A soft breeze in the leaves, till it’s gone
Got some words to speak out, while I’m here
Now that's all I can do, darling dear.
Heinz baked beans on toasted bread
Topped with pepper and some salt
Just exactly like you said
To endure the morning cold
It’s embarrassing to tell you
I’m still all those miles away
From the places that we knew
From the house on Marroway
What’s the news my dear spirit
How it goes beyond the pale?
Are you bound to keep the secret
Though it looks a bit too stale?
Isn’t it obvious like weather
When apart we aren’t the same
Though again we are together
Every time I call your name..
*Fiction
You looked at me and I saw it in your eyes
You handed me a rose, as the scent spread
Just what I saw and I looked away instead
As if strength from your feelings met skies
You took my hand, leading me on a walk
Along a quiet path, that seemed to be ours
I could hold your comfortable hand for hours
Sun shined, as we listened to each other talk
The birds sang from the trees, music to hear
As if they knew in every step love is on the way
We laughed out loud, we had so much to say
Then we turned the corner with a gazebo near
You led my step with confidence onto the floor
Time seemed to stop as we began to dance
I felt your heart beating stronger than romance
At the end of the path I knew this is for evermore

is it butterflies you give me
or u get me all in my feels
it is how you disappear for weeks
and show up like we’re ideal
I’m here arguing with myself
debating if it’s real or in my head
one second you’re telling me you miss me
the next it’s hours left on read
just tried to have you by side
with you I was ready for any ride
I’d look in your direction, and search that sparkle In your eye
then took less than 30 second, to know it was only sparking on mine.
wanted make you smile throughout the day
& make you miss me when I’m gone
have you thinking bout much you love me
pillow talking me telling me i was the one
one minute its walking on eggshells
yet when you hug me, I’ve felt most safe
you held me like it was honest
now left getting through the path of lies you paved.
My darling, its full moon tonight
From deep and darkened blue
The moon shines down so dazzling bright
Reminding me of you
The lullaby we sang along
Plays in my weary brain
The sounds of the bells, ding-dong
The angels come again
You’re one of them, who came to care
You’re smiling from the skies
And looking up to see you there
I sleep with open eyes..
She's a runner
He plays it safe.
She chases love.
He'll take what he can take.
She waited without saying a word
He spoke louder to be sure that he's heard
It was a moonlit thought and,
When the whole world was masked,
I met a midnight blur,
A breathing whisper!
There was never a costume,
But oh the mystery clung to you like mist,
A magic I didn't see coming,
But now the story I keep rereading...
It was the kind of haunting that didn't hurt,
It was pure. It was alive.
Every wind whispered a maybe,
Just like the whole world knew your name.
Your eyes - spells so deep,
Made the dark feel like home.
You were never mine to begin, it's true...
But darling, I think I was always haunted by you, beautifully!
?When all is still, and stars forget to gleam,
?hope yet whispers through the dream.
?Though hearts may fade and voices cease,
?love’s soft echo grants them peace.
?
?No tomb, nor tide, nor endless night,
?can dim the soul that clings to light.
?For even when the heavens tire,
?love rekindles faded fire.
?
?The rose may wilt, the song may end,
?but time itself shall learn to bend.
?And in that bend — beyond the gray,
?two hearts shall find their dawn’s new day.
?
?For hope, once kindled, never dies;
?it sleeps in stars and wakes in eyes.
?And thus our tale, forever whole —
?is love unending, heart and soul.
