A riot born of flames and rage

A burned up system of control
A revolt spoken with flames 
Silence was no longer an option
Peace had been exhausted 
The only language they communicate 
Violence 
The police man specialises in brutality when it comes to the black man

'Stop and search'
An excuse they use
To abuse 
The 'blacks"
Used as a slur
By the oppressor
As if it's poison, as

After he died, I'm always drinking.
After she died, I'm always smoking.
Because what use is a life worth living
If I cannot numb the grief I am feeling.

After he died, I'm always wondering
What could've been if everything was improving.
After she died, I'm always being
A better person for those worth loving.

Sound, Words, and Other Deaths

The air turned black all around me and the fear truly set in. The darkness is surrounding. Who's to know what lies within? The voices spin, dizzying in my head. They repeat all those words to me. All the words they said are closer than memory. As my blood runs out, the darkness swirls around

Deaths dance

I’ve often danced a dance with death 
He’s often beat me out of breath. 
With every step his grip took hold
But he got angry as I was bold 
 I scream in pain my body rife 
And yet I pray for my kids and wife 
Behold my wish to see them here

You Can't Die, If You Are Already Dead

The streets are quiet,
no waves left to break on the shores of the silent,
No blood on the curb to draw the stray dogs.

A stray wind blows through the darkest of alley's
like you it forgets where it was that you came from.
And the boarded up windows watch where it is that you've been.

Death doesn't care about

Births and Deaths

Every day has births and deaths,
Not one of them routine,
While most of us are dealing with
The stuff that comes between.

The entries and the exits
To and from our varied lives
Give no clue to an observer
Of who struggles or who thrives.

The baby, just emerging,
Is a blank, unblemished slate,
While the dying must accept that

Three Deaths and Honey, Please

In the darkness, all birds and bees
and all angels here lie asleep.
The twinkling stars look down
bemoaning my plight, they frown

Over the Panther that crawls above
As black as night, upon the wall she prowls.
Just above my grip, on the sewage pipe,
The viper, the villains twisting my plight.

I pull back the curtains 
And out I look 
There lay a carriage, oh yes, I’m certain
Suddenly, I hear a knock at my door 
So the lock I unhook 
The door i open 
Standing there, a figure 
A creature of great lore 
Grinning, deceptively it hands me a paper and a pen

Living In Deaths Void

life turns tables if not the tide ~ helps to bail death out over the side 

  when all life sinks death itself dies ~ quanta pours back in to fill the void 

    just to be clear what this implies ~ a universe needs death to reprise

I Die Bad Deaths

I die bad deaths in my dreams 
But that is fine  I am alive when it's real

I face real threats in my sleep 
But that's fine I see it happen to others when it is real 

I fear angels when I dream 
But that I fine they are called beautiful when it's real

Deaths Last Hour

A burden of sorrow is given to this man. 
A deluge of hate is on him as he struggles through the sand. 

Loving eyes he bestows to all, through his pain. 
Earth's loving life cries with heartbroken rain. 

The gift of love is given and needs to be broken. 
A soft, gentle wind blows through

In Deaths Silent Flames

In the dark
ticking of the clock 

along the ancient walls
silence is deafening
echoes in the halls

the moon glows, cold
as its bright moonbeams 
are sliced into sliver ribbons 
across the floor 

sliding across the tattered door
nothing stirs all is unmoved
a shadow sits nodding, near 

an archway it lingers
as darkness is never complete

Sudden Deaths

No-one can deny that excess deaths are now occurring 
I don't know what it will take for some to do the research!
To see the evidence presented by experts, doctors, nurses,
Morticians, witnesses, oncologists, cardiologists,  etc.
Denial will not help humanity or anyone you care about
Crimes against humanity are happening as we speak
The earth is shaking from

We Threw Zerocovid All Away

We once held it in our hands
We said we will never let it back in
But we were stupid
We treated covid like fools
We threw zerocovid all away

We once had AFL stadiums full of people with no masks
Hospitals with no concern for covid
We must have been mad
We never knew what we had
