The darker than the night zepher stone

Blundering over garments for the party Artemis Fowl begrudges the night, he calls like wild wolves that have become one, the books to be read, are soreness in mud, like dirty old cars sitting in a lot, procuring new demons from bibles afoot.

Premium Member A Darker Shade of Blue

We are all living life in a darker shade of blue.
Depressing ourselves, vacillating on aspirations
and other youthful ideas of jubilation
that we were never able to see through.
We sit in the shadows wailing about our pasts.

Wasting time
thinking about failed chances.
Lost romances.
And other "Memory lane" garbage
never meant to last.

We need to stop living in these old lamentations
giving us nothing but heartache and frustration.
We need to stop giving into Satan's self-pitying plans.
Get ourselves up and take a stand.
Remembering that Jesus Christ is our Lord, the Great Son of Man.

Our God came to save us; He came to crash our sins to their cores.
So that we would not have to obsess about our yesterdays anymore.
Because, we know full well.
That Jesus, our Lamb,
can save us from these self-made hells.

So now is the time
to be released.
By Jesus Christ,
our Mighty God
and Prince of Peace.

Freed from these
darker shades of blue.
Released into a life
that He makes brand new.

Premium Member A Darker Colder Sun

You filled my heart's chalice with passion's pain
from poison kettles stirred in your mind
Your wormwood brew drips a bile that will stain
as it spills on the earthen floor of time
Slip away with your dung lit real of shade
seek a newer chalice, your lips can fill
barter their heart with your cold lover's trade
in worlds that lie beyond the farthest hill
where each love will be lost forevermore
to drift towards a darker, colder sun
leave me now, like the shadow I abhor
You used my heart's love, and pain has begun
For my heart will lie with its final breath
Befitting dear, you have seen my heart's death

A DARKER SHADE OF BLACK

A darker shade of black.
To keep the shadows from peeking back.
A dimmer shade of dark.
Keep the fear out from my heart.

As I closed my eyes I drifted off to sleep.
Lying wide awake as darkness hovered over me.
In a darker shade of black the devil will attack.
Whispering my name but never knowing where he's at.

Lying in this dream I fear.
Nightmares don't come in this clear.
Paralized by the sounds of darkness that creep.
I lay in a stage of sleep.

Taken hostage from where my weakness lies.
Sleeping and I can't close my eyes.
At the darkness I stare back.
In a darker shade of black.

Friendshades

Friends that hide a darker shade,
Are the first ones to let you go and fade.
They want to see you do better,
But will degrade you little by little.

Fake friends treat you bad,
Expects you to be joyful and on-track.
But little do they know, their words hurt,
Like an arrow right through the heart.

They don't understand that they can be wrong too,
They just act like they have no clue.
But I soon realised, they are toxic and manipulative,
They aren't good people to be around with.

They go yapping about their achievements,
They just don't care about your sentiments.
Who will explain them that what they are doing is wrong?
We should do something before it's too long.

Let's change people around us, let's change ourselves,
Spread happiness not any stress.
Let's make sure we make someone smile a day,
Without any expectations, without any giveaways.

Because at the end, you are you, I am me,

But aren't we all still human beings?

Let's change this society, make every person bloom,

How about we give them a little groom

A darker shade of blue

A darker shade of blue

The stars call to me through the use of a screen,
But my curtains are closed to them really being seen.
I’m scared of the dark, the night such a fright.
I wish my heart would allow me to not fear closing my eyes.

Sleep with one eye open, praying not to die.
An eye for an eye, in this world full of lies.
I am the day walker, incapable talker, memories stalker.
Midnights death.

I am so lost, I have lost the plot.
I reach for a God, but believe only with my final breath.
The nightmare continues, an eye to a view.
Beauty in natural form, my gift anew.

So dark in my heart, but still I continue.
Poet (slash) dreamer, if only they knew,
Do you think they could tell, the Hell in which I dwell?
The love that I hold has no-one under its spell.

So I stay in silence, lips unused, closing eyelids,
Soul a darker shade of blue.

Worlds of the abandoned

Conceptual paralysis
Hot wired matrix
delusional her hereditary mono-glide
Diet tried smokers cough
Apocalyptic pop-tart
Disappoint a trend of the needy
You gave it back
Watching the watcher
You had a laugh
The diamond left its mount
The horse shouted out rude names
The map of life is on your palm
Testing your attention to see if you're real
The missing songs sang of castles walls
Paradox of building with sand
Next government field trip
Not no fun no fake-ness in the bosoms
Season's as her bounty
The streets of all our passion
People fill in the spaces
Kill in weird places
How can you no care,
Silently demanding
Glamorous outstanding
Electric compassion is who ate her
Was never far from anticipation
The dream loses fire once a foot has felt
More than the pain and shock of lost desire

Dark Darker Darkest

Too dark is deceit, so is betrayal.
Darker goes malice, to swallow or digest.
           Darkness in ingratitude : Ugliest.
Scene darkest, when love faces refusal.

Getting Darker All the Time On This Ride

It's getting darker

All the time

I sit alone

It's getting darker

With every poem

I try and include

Another a one single person more

You know the score

No need for or telling you

How stupid and disrespectful of me

Thinking or believing

It's only just poor little me

Who knows

It's getting darker all the time

As you yourself aren't blind either

It's just none of can see

When all the lights have gone out

And we are left

Contemplating and imagining

What is truly going on out there and happening

In the pitch dark journeying on this ride forth

All alone without someone else's

Comforting hand to hold onto

The Saddest Truth Of Love And Its Deep Darker Side

Love too often acts so radically says life
Forbiddenly, it holds emotional cut scars
Cut with an on loan, long diamond edge butcher's knife
It wages battles aplenty, wrecks destructive wars
It climbs trees, soars into the high heavens above
That sadder truth I know, its darkness is jet black
Some laud its beauty amidst this world's push and shove
Yet under its spell, good sense they often do lack.

Warnings and consequences rarely do matter
But intelligence hides the truth of this sad world
Once its fever drives you mad as the Mad Hatter
Into a passion filled stupor you are hurled

Addicted your heart and soul are its new play thing
Out you go to buy her a fancy diamond ring.

A laundryman let his dong dangle
While standing too close to a mangle.
When they stopped it, you guessed it,
It had folded and pressed it,
And now he must pee at an angle.

A Darker Thought Mattered

The light promises to fade
As the dark encompass do we try to see
There are doubts we cannot just shake
How shadows only tease for what could be

It is easy with the aid of light
Be it hard truths or comforting lies before our eyes
Harder as with the shade of night
Where once truth will cast doubt as with deceptive lies

And I embrace the dark that never mattered
It’s simply how the light no longer make sense
To be more torn than darkness catered
To finally see what light will never lend

How it strikes me hard yet as pure
The need for balance from learnings untaught
A one-sided path whether which only paves to endure
A life accepting and dismissing without thought

In darkness… the light is dead
Unable to see… we feel
Because the darkness will fade
To have light when we already knew
……………..

Song: Just a Wave by Yorina

The Darker the Berry

dark berries of vine,
quench up this overdue thirst.
sweet juices, divine,
rest on my deserted tongue,
colour me, how you desire.

Darker

You feel like you would be darker for me than
I would have ever seen
But trust me, my friend...no one else could
ever be darker than me for myself

I made double attempts for my life
And no one else is ever going to do that

Making conscious choices..every second every minute of my life
Prioritizing people's opinions over my mental well-being....

I have tried every single thing

I have regrets but I'm learning how to enjoy life
And I would like to indulge myself for a couple more years

With regrets come realizations and with
realizations comes the responsibility to
figure out what I wanna do with my life

and I, my friend, am really interested in
dancing my way through life
